Sunset Park Introduce
Welcome to Sunset Park, a manufactured home community situated at 1700 Sandstone Dr, Loveland, CO 80537, USA. This community provides a residential environment for individuals and families seeking long-term housing solutions in manufactured homes. While the platform category "RV parks near me" is often associated with temporary or recreational vehicle stays, Sunset Park primarily caters to permanent residents in manufactured homes, offering long-term lot leases. However, the interest in "RV parks near me" can overlap with inquiries into manufactured home communities as both offer structured plots, often with utility hookups, and a sense of community, appealing to those looking for accessible and distinct housing options.
Environment: A Clean and Spacious Setting in Loveland
Sunset Park is designed to offer a clean and spacious living environment for its residents in Loveland, Colorado. Based on resident feedback, the park is described as "very clean," suggesting a commitment to upkeep and a pleasant aesthetic. There are indications of communal outdoor spaces, with mentions of a gazebo and ample room for children to play, implying well-maintained common areas that encourage outdoor activity. The community is noted for being quiet, with residents not having to worry about "speeding cars or having to listen to loud music," which points to a serene and family-friendly atmosphere. The emphasis on residents taking care of the park themselves highlights a shared responsibility for the community's appearance and functionality. The overall environment aims to provide a peaceful and secure setting for manufactured home living, benefiting from Loveland's natural beauty and community-oriented feel.
Services: Management, Utilities, and Resident Involvement
Sunset Park provides a framework of services typical of a manufactured home community, with a notable emphasis on resident involvement in maintenance. While there is a management presence, as evidenced by phone numbers (970) 669-5951 and +1 970-669-5951, resident reviews highlight a significant role played by the residents themselves in maintaining the park. One review states, "The park is taken care of very well by the people who live here," and questions "why we are paying for lot maintenance when all work is done by residents." This indicates that while lot rent likely covers some form of maintenance, residents contribute substantially to the upkeep of their individual lots and potentially some common areas. Essential utilities like water are available, though a resident mentioned, "City water hasn't enough pressure to run hose sprinklers," which is a practical consideration. There are also mentions of community-provided maintenance for tasks like mowing and snow plowing, although feedback suggests varying levels of satisfaction with these services, particularly regarding efficiency and responsiveness. For those searching "RV parks near me" and considering a permanent manufactured home, understanding this shared responsibility for maintenance and the nuances of utility provision is crucial.
Features: Community Amenities and Resident-Centric Focus
The features of Sunset Park are geared towards creating a comfortable and community-oriented living experience for its manufactured home residents. The presence of a gazebo with tables and electricity suggests designated communal gathering spots. The abundance of "room for the little kids to play and run around" points to open spaces or recreational areas within the park, catering to families. The strong emphasis on being a "park for residents only" underlines a focus on exclusivity and potentially a greater sense of security and belonging among its inhabitants. This resident-centric approach promotes a quiet atmosphere, free from excessive noise or transient traffic, which is a significant feature for those seeking peaceful long-term living. While not explicitly detailed, manufactured home communities typically provide individual lots with utility hookups, allowing residents to establish their homes comfortably. The reviews, though critical of some aspects, underscore that the residents themselves are key contributors to the park's character and upkeep. The community's structure, offering a permanent base for manufactured homes, differentiates it from the typical temporary nature of many "RV parks near me."

It is crucial for prospective residents to consider the feedback provided by current residents, as this offers valuable insights into the daily experience within Sunset Park. While positive remarks highlight the park's cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and family-friendly spaces ("very clean," "a lot of room for the little kids to play and run around," "don't have to worry about speeding cars or having to listen to loud music"), there are also significant concerns raised. A prominent issue revolves around maintenance: "We still can't figure out why we are paying for lot maintenance when all work is done by residents. What little maintenance we've seen ends up costing residents in repairs." Specific complaints include "irrigation water plugging sprinklers costing residents repairs," "City water hasn't enough pressure to run hose sprinklers," and issues with provided lawn maintenance ("Lawn maintenance is totally worthless. When mowing, catcher is open so he doesn't have to empty bags!"). Snow removal is also cited as a problem: "In winter, maintenance plows driveways shut. Residents have to hire someone to dig themselves out. When confronted, maintenance is very rude and non helpful, when you can find him." Furthermore, a resident noted, "West side Sunset Place is treated like a red headed stepchild! An afterthought to the park!" suggesting disparities in maintenance or attention within the community. These comments indicate potential frustrations with the quality and responsiveness of park-provided maintenance services, and the perceived value for the lot rent paid. Prospective residents should clarify all aspects of lot maintenance responsibilities, utility performance, and management responsiveness. Visiting the community and potentially speaking with current residents in person can provide a more comprehensive understanding of these operational aspects and the overall living experience at Sunset Park.

Sunset Park Reviews
It was very clean. There were tables in the gazebo as reqested. Having electricity available is a big plus.My family enjoys having our picnics there because there is a lot of room for the little kids to play and run around and don't have to worry about speeding cars or having to listen to loud music.Because it is a park for residents only, I hope more can take advantage of it.
