Fountain House Mobile Home Park Introduce
Fountain House Mobile Home Park is situated at 16311 State Rte 86, Saegertown, PA 16433, USA. For individuals and families exploring residential options in the Saegertown area, and potentially considering alternatives that might appear under the search term "RV parks near me," Fountain House Mobile Home Park offers a community-based living environment. While distinct from traditional RV parks that typically cater to temporary recreational vehicle stays, mobile home parks provide a setting for long-term residency in manufactured homes, which can be an appealing option for some seeking a stable and potentially more affordable housing solution within a community.
Located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, Fountain House Mobile Home Park benefits from its setting in a smaller community within Crawford County. Saegertown offers a more rural and potentially quieter lifestyle compared to larger urban areas. Its location along State Route 86 suggests accessibility to local amenities and potentially a connection to nearby towns and cities for broader services and opportunities. The specific local conveniences available in Saegertown, such as shops, schools, and essential services, would be factors for prospective residents to consider.
Based on the available customer reviews, perspectives on Fountain House Mobile Home Park are mixed and highlight both positive and concerning aspects of the community. One long-term resident notes a decline in the quality of management and an increase in costs since the original owner relinquished control, stating that the original owner was "grand and 5 star all day," but subsequent changes have made things "more expensive and harder to deal with." However, this reviewer also acknowledges that "the property is nice, and the neighbors are excellent," indicating a potentially positive physical environment and a good sense of community among residents.
In stark contrast, another reviewer expresses strong dissatisfaction, stating, "We HATE it here." This review raises serious allegations regarding safety and security within the park, claiming that "some people here are thieves." Specific incidents mentioned include gas siphoning from vehicles, propane tanks being stolen, and sheds being looted. Furthermore, this reviewer details an incident involving a dog from another trailer that reportedly broke free and attacked another dog, with the concerning assertion that "nothing has ever been done to make it safer here" and that the aggressive dog still resides in the park. Additionally, this review echoes the sentiment of increasing costs, specifically mentioning that "lot rent keeps going higher every so many months," reaching "almost $400 now," which the reviewer deems "ridiculous."
Considering these reviews, the environment of Fountain House Mobile Home Park appears to have positive aspects, with one reviewer describing the property as "nice" and neighbors as "excellent." However, the serious allegations of theft and safety concerns raised by another reviewer paint a troubling picture. The issue with an allegedly aggressive dog remaining in the community despite an attack is particularly concerning for the safety and well-being of residents and their pets. Additionally, both reviews mention the increasing cost of living, specifically the rising lot rent, as a significant negative factor.
Information regarding specific services and features offered within Fountain House Mobile Home Park is limited in the provided reviews. Typically, mobile home parks provide essential infrastructure such as utility hookups (water, sewer, electricity), trash removal, and road maintenance. The mention of propane tanks suggests that residents may utilize propane for heating or other purposes, implying that the park likely accommodates such setups. Beyond this, the reviews do not provide details about additional amenities that might be available, such as on-site management, community centers, laundry facilities, playgrounds, or recreational areas. The lack of mention could indicate their absence or simply that the reviewers focused on other aspects of their experience.
Similarly, there is no information available in the provided reviews regarding any specific features that might distinguish Fountain House Mobile Home Park or any promotional offers that might be in place to attract new residents. Mobile home parks sometimes highlight aspects such as a quiet rural setting, well-maintained grounds, or a strong sense of community as benefits. They might also offer incentives related to lot rent or move-in costs. However, this information is not present in the current reviews for Fountain House Mobile Home Park.
For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category who might be considering a longer-term residential option in a manufactured home community in the Saegertown area, Fountain House Mobile Home Park presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. While the property itself may be "nice" and some residents find the neighbors "excellent," the serious allegations of theft, safety concerns regarding an aggressive dog, and the increasing lot rent are significant red flags that potential residents must carefully consider. It underscores the critical importance of thorough investigation and direct communication with the park management and residents to ascertain the current living conditions and safety measures in place.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Fountain House Mobile Home Park, prospective residents are strongly advised to visit the community to assess the environment and security measures firsthand. It would be essential to speak with current residents (if possible) to get a broader perspective on the community's safety, management responsiveness to issues, and the overall living experience. Contacting the park management directly is crucial to inquire about security protocols, pet policies (especially regarding aggressive animals), lot rental rates, lease terms, community rules and regulations, available amenities, and to address the serious concerns raised in the online reviews. This direct engagement will be paramount in making an informed decision about whether Fountain House Mobile Home Park is a suitable and safe long-term living option.
In conclusion, Fountain House Mobile Home Park in Saegertown, PA, presents a community with some positive aspects, such as a "nice" property and "excellent" neighbors, according to one long-term resident. However, serious allegations of theft, safety concerns related to an aggressive dog, and increasing lot rent, as detailed by another reviewer, raise significant concerns. For those exploring long-term residential options after searching for "RV parks near me," thorough due diligence, including a visit to the property and direct communication with management and residents, is absolutely essential to assess the safety and overall living conditions at Fountain House Mobile Home Park before making any decisions.

Fountain House Mobile Home Park Reviews
Live here, original owner was grand and 5 star all day. As owners have changed hands, things have gotten more expensive and harder to deal with. The property is nice, and the neighbors are excellent.
Oct 15, 2024 · Hunter HartWe HATE it here. Some people here are theives. We've had gas siphoned from our vehicles, propane tanks stolen, sheds looted. And one of the trailers has a dog that broke out of their house to attack another dog just innocently sitting outside on the line. The dog still lives there! Nothing has ever been done to make it safer here. AND now lot rent keeps going higher every so many months. Up to almost $400 now.... Ridiculous.
May 13, 2023 · Courtney LynnNew Life country setting but management is too unpredictable. They thrive on the fact that they can change anything in her lease at any time without notice or per say within 30 days would usually doesn't give you much time when you have a trailer in there park and it's not like exactly cheap to move a trailer.
