Golden Hills Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" that might also include information on long-term residential options, it's important to understand the distinction between RV parks and mobile home parks. While both offer spaces for manufactured housing, mobile home parks typically cater to longer-term or permanent residents. Golden Hills Mobile Home Park, located at 7865 West FL-40, Ocala, FL 34482, USA, is a mobile home park providing a residential community for individuals and families in the Ocala area. You can contact the park at (352) 237-8266 or their mobile number +1 352-237-8266 for inquiries.
It is crucial to approach information about residential communities with objectivity, especially when relying on user reviews, as these often reflect individual experiences that may not be representative of the entire community. The following introduction aims to provide an overview of Golden Hills Mobile Home Park based on the limited publicly available information, primarily derived from the provided customer reviews.
Environment and Location
Golden Hills Mobile Home Park is situated on West FL-40 in Ocala, Florida. This location offers proximity to local amenities and services within the Ocala area. One specific positive aspect of the location mentioned by a resident is the presence of a Mexican restaurant within walking distance of the park. This suggests some level of accessibility to local dining options for residents.
The overall environment of the mobile home park is not extensively described in the provided reviews. However, the fact that it is a mobile home park implies a community setting with individual mobile home sites and potentially shared common areas. Without further information, it is difficult to elaborate on the aesthetic aspects, landscaping, or overall ambiance of the park.
Services and Features
The limited information available provides some insights, albeit concerning, into the services and features of Golden Hills Mobile Home Park. One resident mentioned that the park raises rent on a yearly basis. This is a common practice in many rental communities; however, the frequency and amount of these increases are not specified. Prospective residents should inquire about the rental agreement terms and policies regarding rent adjustments.
A significant concern raised in one of the reviews is the alleged practice of turning off the water supply every couple of days. This would be a substantial inconvenience for residents and is a critical point of inquiry for anyone considering living in the park. The frequency and duration of these water disruptions are not detailed, but the mention of such occurrences is noteworthy.
Another service-related aspect mentioned is the interaction with the park management. One reviewer described the management as "not very friendly." While this is a subjective opinion, it is a factor that can influence a resident's quality of life within a community. It is advisable for prospective residents to interact with the management directly to form their own assessment.
The second review raises very serious allegations regarding the management's practices related to home ownership and sales within the park. The user claims that the park engages in the theft of homes, auctions homes without allowing owners to claim them, and hinders the sale of homes within the allotted timeframe. These are severe accusations that would undoubtedly be a major concern for any mobile home owner residing in or considering moving to Golden Hills Mobile Home Park. It is important to note that these are allegations from a single reviewer, and further investigation and verification would be necessary to ascertain the validity of these claims.
The reviewer also alleges that the park changes locks on homes and sells them for inflated prices, further emphasizing the seriousness of the accusations. The call for a class action lawsuit and for other individuals with similar experiences to come forward underscores the gravity of these claims in the eyes of this particular former resident.
It is important to reiterate that these negative reviews present serious concerns that potential residents should thoroughly investigate. Requesting detailed information about park rules, lease agreements, and resident rights would be essential due diligence.
Promotional Information
Based on the provided information, there is no explicitly positive promotional information available for Golden Hills Mobile Home Park. The reviews are overwhelmingly negative and highlight significant issues that would deter potential residents. The only potentially positive aspect mentioned is the proximity to a Mexican restaurant, which is an external amenity and not a feature or service provided by the mobile home park itself.
Given the serious allegations of unethical and potentially illegal practices, it would be prudent for local users to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering residency at Golden Hills Mobile Home Park. This would include seeking legal advice, contacting local housing authorities, and attempting to speak with multiple current residents to gain a broader perspective on the community and its management.
Lack of Positive Feedback and Serious Allegations
The absence of any positive feedback in the provided reviews is notable. Both reviews express significant dissatisfaction, with one detailing specific negative experiences over a five-year period and the other making very serious accusations of theft and obstruction of property rights. The strength and nature of these negative comments warrant careful consideration by anyone considering Golden Hills Mobile Home Park as a potential residence.
The call for a class action lawsuit is a strong indicator of the level of distress and perceived injustice felt by at least one former resident. While legal outcomes are uncertain, such a statement should not be ignored by prospective residents.
Conclusion and Recommendation
Based on the limited information available, primarily consisting of negative customer reviews, Golden Hills Mobile Home Park appears to be a community with significant issues that potential residents should be aware of. The allegations of frequent water shutoffs, unfriendly management, and, most seriously, the theft and obstruction of home sales are deeply concerning.
While the proximity to a Mexican restaurant is a minor positive aspect of the location, it is far outweighed by the serious allegations raised by former residents. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a longer-term residential option in a mobile home park should exercise extreme caution regarding Golden Hills Mobile Home Park. Thorough investigation, including seeking legal counsel and speaking with current residents (if possible), is strongly recommended before making any decisions about residing in this community.
Given the severity of the accusations, it would be responsible for potential residents to explore alternative mobile home parks or residential communities in the Ocala area that have a more positive reputation and a history of fair and ethical management practices. The information available suggests that Golden Hills Mobile Home Park may not provide a stable or positive living environment for its residents.

Golden Hills Mobile Home Park Reviews
My son lived here for 5 years. They raise your rent yearly. Turn off your water every couple of days. And are not very friendly. The one good thing about this place is the Mexican restaurant within walking distance.
Sep 29, 2024 · Carol DearThis place is a thief they steal homes. They will auction your home and not let you claim, also hinder your sale when you have 45 days to sell it. They are thieves and should have a class action law suit against them if anybody else has had issues with Golden hills mobile home park please reach out. This place is a joke and will steal homes and sell them for more than they are worth and won't let you sell hinder change your locks on your home their just evil. People need to stand up and fight back and not just walk away stand together. If anyone has any issues please notify. #letstandtogether #reach out #letsmakethisviral #class action lawsuitDONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR.!!!!
Jul 23, 2024 · Ciarra MurphyThe HOA rules are a bit strict. The land rent is high. You may not want to drink the water. They frequently turn off the water and start a boil water alert.
Sep 21, 2024 · AngelThe community laws are garbage and steal your homes and then turn around and sells them behind your back leaving you homeless. I wouldnt recommend moving here its all just a scam
Jul 23, 2024 · Brian ReynoldsThe management is very nice and polite and tries their best to work out every problem, the newest management is one of the best I’ve seen! The only issue is that the pool is not open and when it is there are a lot of bugs in it. The pool needs an update to become a hot spot. I think this is a wonderful park to live in with plenty of future in it! Lots of things to do around the area and the new equestrian center opening up right down the road! I do wish to voice my concerns on security and general updates.(UPDATE: the pool is open, being updated! The pool is MUCH cleaner, and security has actually been a lot better with cracking down on bad behaviors)(NEW: FIVE STAR)
