Golden Oaks Introduce
If you are currently searching for "RV parks near me" in the Springfield, Oregon area and are considering options within the 55+ community, Golden Oaks Mobile Home Park, located at 1125 58th St, Springfield, OR 97478, USA, is one possibility to explore. They can be contacted at (541) 747-1123 or +1 541-747-1123 for further information.
To provide an objective introduction to Golden Oaks, it is essential to consider the experiences shared by individuals who reside or have resided in the community. Recent reviews offer insights into the environment, maintenance, management, and overall living experience.
One resident expresses significant concerns regarding the noise levels within Golden Oaks, stating that it is not a place for those seeking peace and quiet. They recount an instance where maintenance spent two hours blowing leaves in front of their home, immediately followed by a neighbor doing the same for an additional two hours. This individual perceives a lack of consideration among some residents. Furthermore, they mention issues with barking dogs and express dissatisfaction with the management's response to complaints, alleging that they are blamed for the problems. This resident concludes that despite being a 55+ community, the noise level is comparable to living downtown.
Adding to the concerns about noise, the same reviewer describes an incident of maintenance blowing wet leaves during heavy rain on a Saturday, characterizing such activities as "crazy." They also highlight a dichotomy among residents, noting "a few good neighbors and many bad ones," and describe the property management as "the worst." A serious allegation is made regarding residents being "afraid to complain because of the power management has."
Another review, dated July 19, 2024, focuses on maintenance issues, specifically concerning tree care. The resident reports that while a "whimpy little tree" in the park was trimmed, promised work on larger, stressed, and potentially unsafe trees was not carried out. This individual expresses feelings of being lied to and asserts that seniors deserve better treatment. They also mention a negative interaction with management following an ice storm, characterized by rudeness and a lack of willingness to listen, including a door being shut in their face. A significant point of contention is the alleged lack of a pool, despite residents seemingly paying for such amenities, leading to a broader complaint that "all our amenities should be taken care of and available." The issue of "limbs hanging still and infested not safe trees" persists, with the manager reportedly offering only dismissive responses.
Considering these direct accounts from residents, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" within a 55+ community should be aware of potential challenges at Golden Oaks. The recurring themes of noise disturbances, concerns about management responsiveness and attitude, and issues with maintenance, particularly tree care and the availability of amenities, are important factors to consider.
For those specifically seeking the tranquility often associated with 55+ communities and expecting responsive management and well-maintained amenities, the experiences shared by these residents suggest that Golden Oaks may not meet those expectations. The mention of noise issues, including leaf blowing and barking dogs, could be particularly relevant for RVers who often value peaceful outdoor living.
It is important to remember that these reviews represent the experiences and opinions of specific individuals at the time of their writing. However, the consistency in the negative feedback regarding noise, management, and maintenance should prompt potential residents to conduct thorough due diligence. This could involve visiting Golden Oaks, observing the environment firsthand (including noise levels at different times), and attempting to speak with current residents to gain a broader perspective. Direct communication with the management to address the concerns raised in these reviews and to understand their policies on noise, maintenance, and amenities is also crucial.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" that offer a serene and well-managed 55+ environment with promised amenities readily available and maintained, it may be prudent to explore other options in the Springfield, Oregon area that have more consistently positive feedback regarding these aspects. While Golden Oaks is located in a convenient area and caters to the 55+ demographic, the reported issues suggest that further investigation is necessary to determine if it aligns with individual preferences and expectations for long-term RV living.
In conclusion, while Golden Oaks is a 55+ mobile home park in Springfield, Oregon, the available resident reviews raise significant concerns about noise levels, management conduct, and the upkeep and availability of amenities. Those searching for "RV parks near me" who prioritize peace, responsive management, and well-maintained facilities should carefully weigh these perspectives and conduct thorough personal investigation before considering Golden Oaks as a long-term living option.

Golden Oaks Reviews
If you want peace and quiet this place is not for you. I was sick today and the maintenance guy blew leaves in front of my house for 2 hours and when he was done my neighbor came out and blew leaves for another 2 hours. These people only care about themselves. Then there is the barking dogs. When I complain to management they blame me for the problem. Now it's Saturday in a heavy rain and they're out there blowing wet leaves. These people are crazy. We have a few good neighbors and many bad ones and the property management is the worst. Many are afraid to complain because of the power management has. This is a 55+ community but I might as well be living downtown.
Nov 23, 2024 · John MillerToday 7/19/2024 they had tree guy come back and trim the whimpy liittle tree in the park, and never did anything like they said they would do with the big trees very stressed, lying company! Us seniors deserve better than this! Every since ice storm rude will not listen, door gets shut in your face. No pool which we pay for those emenities, all our emenities should be taken care of and available. Limbs hanging still and infested not safe trees, all the manager says is gotta go no answers.
Oct 22, 2024 · vicky bankusConsistently clean and friendly manufactured home park with ample parking spaces for family and friends to visit. Beautiful, mature landscaping and many trees at rear of park and throughout.
Nov 16, 2024 · Patricia WhiteI was picking up something off the marketplace. Cute, homey, and a place I would like to live.
Oct 24, 2024 · Michelle StolsigThis place seems to be well kept and it is quiet. They need a dual manager so someone can remain in the office. Anytime I've called or stopped by, the manager has been out on the grounds.
