Gulf Coast RV Resort Introduce
Gulf Coast RV Resort, located at 10885 N Suncoast Blvd, Inglis, FL 34449, USA, presents itself as a highly regarded option for local users searching within the category of "RV parks near me." Based on customer reviews, this resort offers a welcoming and friendly environment with a strong sense of community among its visitors. The park boasts a range of appealing amenities, making it a potentially excellent choice for both short and extended stays. However, one significant concern regarding the handling of packages by the office staff has been raised and should be taken into consideration by prospective guests.
The environment at Gulf Coast RV Resort is consistently described as "really nice" and "wonderful." One reviewer noted the friendly atmosphere, highlighting that it "seems to be a close community of repeat visitors who all seem to know each other on a first name basis." This suggests a warm and inclusive environment where newcomers might feel welcomed into an established community. The presence of many repeat visitors is often a strong indicator of a well-regarded and enjoyable RV park experience.
The resort offers a variety of amenities that cater to the comfort and convenience of its guests. These include a "swimming pool" for relaxation and recreation, and "laundry rooms," which are essential for travelers, especially those on longer trips. Recognizing the importance of pets to many RVers, Gulf Coast RV Resort provides a "dog park for large and small" breeds, allowing pet owners to exercise their animals in a safe and designated area. Furthermore, they have recently added a "pet bath area attached to the pet area," demonstrating a commitment to providing comprehensive facilities for furry companions.
Another amenity that received high praise from a guest was the "big beautiful shower," indicating that the park pays attention to the quality of its restroom facilities. Clean and spacious showers can significantly enhance the comfort of an RV stay.
One reviewer went so far as to say, "I would dare to say one of the best RV parks in the area," and another stated, "We definitely would stay here again. We would give it 6 stars if we could," underscoring the positive experiences many guests have had at Gulf Coast RV Resort. These testimonials speak volumes about the overall quality and appeal of the park.
However, alongside these glowing reviews, a significant issue was raised concerning the handling of packages by the office staff. One guest recounted a troubling experience where a couple of packages signed for by the office staff were never received. The reviewer described the office staff's response as "quite unconcerned about losing packages after signing for them" and exhibiting a "totally detached" attitude, claiming no responsibility for the lost items. This guest also pointed out a lack of security or proper policy regarding package handling, suggesting that "anybody just walk in and take any packages they want without anyone checking what they take." The suggested solutions were to implement a better package handling policy or have transporters deliver directly to the customers' campsites.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Gulf Coast RV Resort appears to offer a compelling combination of a friendly community, a beautiful environment, and desirable amenities such as a pool, laundry facilities, and a well-equipped dog park with a pet bath. The positive experiences shared by multiple guests suggest a high level of satisfaction with their stay. However, the reported issue with package security and the office staff's handling of lost items is a serious concern that potential guests should be aware of, especially if they anticipate receiving mail or deliveries during their stay.
Promotional information is not explicitly stated in the reviews. However, the positive comments about the friendly community, the beautiful property, and the excellent amenities (pool, laundry, dog park, pet bath, nice showers) serve as strong implicit endorsements. The willingness of one guest to give the park six stars if possible highlights the exceptional experience they had, further promoting the resort as a top choice in the area.

The positive feedback from multiple guests suggests a high level of satisfaction. Gulf Coast RV Resort Reviews
It's a really nice RV park. Everyone is quite friendly, they seem to be a close community of repeat visitors who all seem to know each other on a first name basis. Swimming pool, laundry rooms, dog park for large and small, they recently also installed a pet bath area attached to the pet area. I would dare to say on of the best RV parks in the area. dog park. The only fault I could find was the office staff. They seem to be quite unconcerned about losing packages after signing for them. Had a couple packages sent to the park that were signed in by office staff, never to be seen. When we brought it up to the office staff she seemed to be totally detached from our loss claiming no responsibility after signing for our packages. Didn't care to ask how much in monetary value we had lost, and basically took no responsibility for the packages we had lost after they received it.Park really needs a better policy when they take responsibility for your packages, instead of letting anybody just walk in and take any packages they want without anyone checking what they take. Or have the transporters deliver straight to the customers campsite.
Mar 22, 2025 · Hank MichaelaWe stayed for two nights on our way to Arizona. It was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly, our dog loved the dog park. I loved the big beautiful shower. We definitely would stay here again. We would give it 6 stars if we could
Dec 10, 2024 · Diana LabeckiThis is our 2nd year in a row that we were snowbirds here. We like the low key, laid back vibe. It suits us just fine. There is not tons to do in the immediate area, but we absolutely are ok with that. We love natural areas, not concrete and steel! The residents of the park are very friendly and watch out for one another. Honorable mention to Jayne in the office and Don the pool guy, who will almost come at a moments notice to help you with your WiFi needs.
