Eleanor Oaks RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Yankeetown, Florida area, Eleanor Oaks RV Park, situated at 41 Cattail Ln, Yankeetown, FL 34498, USA, presents itself as a highly regarded campground. Based on the available customer reviews, Eleanor Oaks RV Park appears to prioritize guest satisfaction and offers a welcoming environment for RV travelers and campers looking to explore the Nature Coast of Florida.
One of the standout features repeatedly mentioned in the reviews is the exceptional staff at Eleanor Oaks RV Park. According to a very positive review, the staff, from the office to the grounds crew, "go above and beyond" to ensure guests have an amazing stay. The campground manager, Stacie, is specifically highlighted for her dedication to making all campers feel truly happy with their experience. This suggests a management team that is proactive and attentive to the needs of their guests, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere within the park.
Furthermore, the review praises Jason, the maintenance man, for being readily available to assist with any issues that guests might encounter. This on-site support for maintenance concerns can be a significant advantage, providing peace of mind to travelers knowing that help is at hand if needed. Sherry, who is responsible for the bathhouse, is also commended for keeping it "pristine and stocked well." Clean and well-maintained facilities like bathhouses are often a crucial factor in the overall comfort and satisfaction of campground guests.
Based on this overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the staff and maintenance, Eleanor Oaks RV Park seems to cultivate a service-oriented culture where the well-being and comfort of the campers are a top priority. This level of care and attention can significantly enhance the overall camping experience, making it feel more like a community and less like just a place to park your RV.
Another reviewer echoes the sentiment of a "great park" and mentions no issues directly related to the park itself. This reinforces the idea that Eleanor Oaks RV Park is well-maintained and provides a pleasant environment for its guests. However, this reviewer does bring up an external factor that impacted their stay: a disruptive neighbor in lot 12. The review details several instances of loud and inconsiderate behavior from this individual over a period of more than a month, including late-night screaming, noisy diesel trucks running past 2 am, loud dog whistling, and late-night parties with loud talking. The reviewer emphasizes that this behavior was "NOTHING to do with the park" but was still "obnoxious and rude."
It's important to note that while the park cannot directly control the behavior of individual guests, the fact that another reviewer felt compelled to mention it suggests that it might have significantly affected the peace and quiet of other campers in the vicinity. The reviewer also mentions that the neighbor appeared to be a long-term resident with a deck, implying a more permanent presence. Despite this issue, the reviewer chose not to complain to the office, so it's unclear if the park management was aware of or able to address the situation. This highlights the importance for potential guests to be aware that while the park itself might be excellent, the behavior of other campers can sometimes influence the overall experience.
Considering the positive aspects, Eleanor Oaks RV Park is described as a "great campground" where the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The mention of a well-maintained bathhouse further suggests attention to the comfort and convenience of guests. The park's location in Yankeetown, Florida, places it within the Nature Coast region, known for its natural beauty, opportunities for outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, and exploring nearby state parks and wildlife refuges. While the reviews don't explicitly detail the environment within the park itself (e.g., shade, landscaping, layout), the positive comments about the staff and maintenance imply a well-cared-for setting.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" or "campgrounds near me" in the Yankeetown area, Eleanor Oaks RV Park appears to be a strong contender based on the glowing review regarding the staff and facilities. The one negative experience seems to stem from an isolated issue with a neighboring camper and not a systemic problem with the park itself. However, potential long-term guests might want to inquire about the park's policies on noise and disruptive behavior to ensure a peaceful living environment.
While no specific promotional information or discounts are mentioned in the provided reviews, the positive word-of-mouth regarding the quality of service and the overall experience at Eleanor Oaks RV Park can be seen as a form of organic promotion. The recommendation to "definitely check out Eleanor Oaks" from a satisfied guest speaks volumes about the park's appeal.

Mar 17, 2025 · Irma GilleyGreat park, no issues other than a neighbor in lot 12 screaming at her boyfriend(s) at 1 am four different nights, running diesel trucks through every other night well past 2am for over a month. Whistling/calling her dog while walking up and down the park at 12:30pm. Having party’s and talking loudly at 1am multiple nights. Totaling 8+ different nights of waking up to her loud noises. (We were multiple lots away from her)NOTHING to do with the park but still obnoxious and rude though. Hopefully she’s gone if you visit, though she has a deck that looks to be long term. Grant it we could’ve complained to the office but chose not to. So no problem with the park
Apr 23, 2025 · Faded DiamondsThis is an amazing campground… you could not ask for friendlier staff Stacy, Michelle and the maintenance guy Jason. Nice heated pool several of campers that return every year. There is a very nice longe area with a few couches a pool table and cooking area for use by campers.
Mar 12, 2025 · Lisa GilleyThis place is a gem in the cut! I'm not from there but my friend decided to set up his camp there and it's awesome. The people are so nice and courteous! They have a clean nice pool kid friendly and a nlvery nice club house! The only downside but it's worth it are to bring your bug spray cause the mosquitos love anything that's not a fl native 😂! But over all I recommend this place !
Mar 25, 2025 · Jack BlackBeautiful campground with really nice facilities. Sherry was amazing and so sweet. We went over Christmas and they had potluck with the whole community. The bugs were a little nutty during the day, but gone at night around the fire. We’ll definitely come back!
