Citrus River Village I Introduce
Citrus River Village I, located at 11240 N Northwood Dr, Inglis, FL 34449, USA, presents itself as a mixed-use community offering both mobile home lots and RV sites. For local users searching within the category of "RV parks near me," Citrus River Village I provides an option that combines the features of a residential mobile home park with accommodations for RVs. Based on the available customer reviews, the community appears to be family-friendly, generally safe and quiet, with a pool as an amenity. However, some environmental and infrastructure concerns have been noted.
The environment at Citrus River Village I is described as "nice and clean" by one long-term resident who lived there for a year. This suggests that the park management and residents generally maintain a decent level of cleanliness throughout the community. The same reviewer also found the area to be "very safe," which is a significant positive aspect for potential residents and visitors alike. The community is also noted as being "very quiet," indicating a peaceful living environment that could appeal to those seeking tranquility.
The presence of a "decent amount of kids around who liked to play outside and have fun" suggests a family-friendly atmosphere. This could be attractive to families with children looking for a community where their kids can socialize and be active. The reviewer explicitly calls it a "Good family area." Furthermore, the experience of never having anything taken or messed with reinforces the perception of safety within the park.
One of the early experiences shared by a homeowner in the park highlights a potentially positive aspect of the management. This individual, who has lived in the park for two years, mentioned that the "old park owner then had worked with me on the price," expressing great gratitude for this accommodation. This suggests a degree of flexibility and willingness to work with prospective residents, at least under previous ownership.
In terms of amenities, the reviews explicitly mention the presence of a "pool," which is a significant recreational feature, especially in the Florida climate. The availability of a pool can enhance the quality of life for residents and provide a space for relaxation and social interaction.
The reviewer who lived in the park for a year also noted some "slight negatives" regarding the environment. These include the observation that "the area could use a little love here and there" and that "Roads could use some work." These comments suggest that while the park is generally nice, there might be areas where the infrastructure or landscaping could be improved. Additionally, the reviewer mentioned that "It gets a bit floody in certain areas" and that "Sometimes the air smells at night," indicating potential environmental drawbacks that prospective residents should be aware of.
Another point of feedback was that residents occasionally "feel like things get nitpicked a bit," which could refer to certain community rules or management practices. Finally, the reviewer noted that "Rent is a bit expensive for the area, but that is everywhere at the moment," suggesting that while the park itself has its merits, the cost of living might be a consideration, although this is acknowledged as a broader regional trend.
As Citrus River Village I is described as "a mobile home park and a RV park," it likely offers services and features catering to both types of residents. For RVers, this would typically include individual sites with hookups for electricity, water, and sewer. The presence of a pool would be an attractive amenity for RV travelers as well. However, specific RV-related services such as laundry facilities, restrooms, and showers might be geared more towards long-term residents or might be limited compared to a dedicated RV resort. The reviews do not provide specific details on the RV-specific amenities.
Promotional information is not explicitly stated in the reviews. However, the implicit positives highlighted by residents, such as the friendly people, the sense of safety, the quiet environment, and the presence of a pool, could be considered promotional aspects for those seeking a place to live or park their RV in the Inglis area. The potential for affordability mentioned by the homeowner who received price accommodation from the previous owner might also be seen as a past promotional aspect, although current pricing would need to be verified.
To obtain more detailed information about Citrus River Village I, including the availability of RV sites, the specific amenities offered to RV guests (hookups, laundry, restrooms, etc.), the current rental rates for both mobile home lots and RV sites, and to inquire about the reported issues with roads and flooding, interested individuals should contact the management directly at (352) 447-5333 or +1 352-447-5333. Visiting the location at 11240 N Northwood Dr, Inglis, FL 34449, USA, could also provide a firsthand look at the community and its environment, allowing potential residents or RVers to assess the conditions and amenities for themselves.
In conclusion, Citrus River Village I in Inglis, Florida, appears to be a mixed mobile home and RV park offering a generally nice, clean, safe, and quiet environment with friendly people and a pool. It seems to be a family-friendly community. However, prospective residents and RVers should be aware of potential drawbacks such as the condition of the roads, possible flooding in certain areas, occasional nighttime smells, and potentially higher rent compared to the surrounding area. The park offers a unique blend of long-term residential living and RV accommodations, making it a noteworthy option for those seeking a community with a more settled feel than a purely transient RV park. Direct communication with the management is recommended to gather the most up-to-date information and to address any specific concerns.

Citrus River Village I Reviews
I wasn't able to afford anything else a the time. So I had looked into the places here. The old park owner then had worked with me on the price. I was really greatful for that. I've been a home owner here in the park for 2 years. My kids, dog and I enjoy our walks.
Oct 31, 2022 · Ashley WilliamsI lived here for a year and I liked it. Other than some slight negatives (which you will always have), I overall enjoyed living there. It's a nice and clean mobile home park, with friendly people, and in my opinion seemed very safe. Also very quiet. There's a decent amount of kids around who liked to play outside and have fun. Good family area. We never had anything taken or messed with, it was nice. It's a mobile home park and a RV park. They have a pool. The park managers are niceNegative would be the area could use a little love here and there. Roads could use some work. It gets a bit floody in certain areas. Sometimes the air smells at night. Occasionally feel like things get nitpicked a bit. Rent is a bit expensive for the area, but that is everywhere at the moment. Otherwise though it's a nice area. May update with pics later.
Mar 18, 2022 · Batty Beauty CreationsI lived here for almost 3 years and loved the location. the park manager and her mom are great people. they work hard keeping the park clean. yes, the park is old, but very quaint. there are a few deadbeats that one has to overlook and take with a grain of salt but they are harmless. the pool is a great feature and club house/rec room is also nice with laundry facilities. I really miss the place. I made some nice friendships there and still visit occassionally with donuts. ❤❤❤

Apr 03, 2025 · Da FHidden gem!!! Forget over priced Florida resorts!!! The manager here Jeannie is a real cool laid back down to earth Jill of all trades! There's a beautiful pool. Very clean laundry room and it's so peaceful and quiet!!! Free wifi, free cable!!! 10 minutes to EVERYTHING in the area!!! It's a mixed rv park/mobile home park. Some places are not so neatly kept but the people are awesome here. Everybody is kind. We love Aurora Acres and Jeannie and her mom Shirley. So glad we came here.
