Harmony Village Manufactured Home Community Introduce
When looking for "RV parks near me" in the Fort Collins, Colorado area, it's essential to explore various residential communities that might accommodate recreational vehicles. Harmony Village Manufactured Home Community, located at 2500 E Harmony Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80528, USA, is primarily a manufactured home community but could potentially offer spaces suitable for RV and camping trailer living. To ascertain whether Harmony Village aligns with your needs as an RV owner, direct communication with their management at (970) 226-2197 or +1 970-226-2197 is crucial.
Based on available online information, Harmony Village is described as an "interesting, attractive, clean, crowded" community with 480 leased lots occupied by manufactured homes. The community boasts several amenities, including a community center, a pool, and a playground for children. These features might be of interest to individuals or families considering long-term RV living and seeking community facilities.
However, it is important to consider all available feedback when evaluating potential "RV parks near me." One detailed review from a long-term resident (12 years) raises significant concerns regarding the management and maintenance practices at Harmony Village. The reviewer mentions issues such as alleged refusal to accept lot rent leading to late fees, lack of communication regarding important notices, frequent rent increases, and a perceived lack of accountability from management and maintenance personnel. Specific allegations include rude and disrespectful behavior from the manager, inconsistent enforcement of park rules (e.g., leash laws), and unprofessional conduct. The reviewer also claims instances of harassment, vandalism, and trespassing. These are serious allegations that prospective residents, including RV owners, should be aware of and investigate further through direct communication with the park management and potentially by seeking additional feedback from current residents.
On a more positive note, the information suggests that Harmony Village has a community center, a pool, and a playground. If these amenities are also accessible to RV residents, they could enhance the living experience, particularly for families with children or individuals seeking social interaction and recreational opportunities within the community. The presence of these facilities indicates a potential for community engagement and leisure activities.
The mention of two houses for sale within the community (a single wide for $95,000 and a double wide for $130,000) is primarily relevant to those interested in purchasing a manufactured home rather than parking an RV. However, it does provide context about the nature of the community as primarily focused on manufactured housing.
When considering Harmony Village as a potential option within the "RV parks near me" category, it is vital to ask specific questions tailored to your RV living needs. These inquiries should include:
- RV Space Availability: Confirm whether Harmony Village has designated or suitable spaces for RVs, and inquire about the availability for both short-term and long-term stays.
- RV Size Restrictions: Determine if there are any restrictions on the size or type of RVs they can accommodate.
- Utility Hookups: Ask about the availability and type of utility hookups for RVs, including electrical (amperage), water, and sewer connections.
- Waste Disposal: Understand the procedures for disposing of solid and liquid waste from RVs.
- Access to Amenities: Clarify whether RV residents have access to the community amenities such as the community center, pool, and playground. If so, are there any specific rules or fees associated with their use?
- Laundry Facilities: Inquire about the availability of on-site laundry facilities for residents, including RV residents.
- Pet Policy: If you have pets, ask about the park's pet policy, including any breed or size restrictions, leash requirements, and designated pet areas.
- Park Rules and Regulations: Obtain a copy of the park's rules and regulations to understand the expectations for residents, including noise levels, parking, and general conduct. Given the negative review, it is particularly important to understand the official policies versus the experiences reported by the resident.
- Rental Rates and Lease Terms: Inquire about the monthly or long-term rental rates for RV spaces and the terms of any lease agreements.
- Security Measures: Ask about the security measures in place within the community.
- Management Responsiveness: Given the concerns raised in the review, try to gauge the current management's responsiveness and approach to resident concerns during your initial contact.
The significant negative feedback regarding management practices is a critical factor to consider. While the community may offer some appealing amenities, it is essential to weigh these against the reported issues. Prospective RV residents should conduct thorough due diligence, which may include visiting the park (if possible), speaking with current residents (if feasible), and carefully evaluating the responses from the management to your inquiries.
It's important to remember that online reviews represent individual experiences and may not be entirely representative of the overall community. However, a detailed and strongly negative review, such as the one provided, warrants careful consideration and further investigation.
In conclusion, while Harmony Village Manufactured Home Community might appear as an option when searching for "RV parks near me" due to its residential nature in Fort Collins, potential RV residents must proactively seek detailed information from the management regarding RV accommodations, services, amenities, and policies. Furthermore, the serious allegations raised in a recent review concerning management practices should be carefully considered and investigated to ensure a positive and hassle-free living experience. Contacting Harmony Village directly at (970) 226-2197 or +1 970-226-2197 is the necessary first step to gather the information needed to make an informed decision.

Harmony Village Manufactured Home Community Reviews
I HAVE LIVED IN THIS PARK FOR 12 YEARS MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT COMPANY HAS CHANGED QUITE A BIT. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THEM REFUSING TO TAKE A LOT RENT NOW I AM FORCED TO HAVING TO PAY LATE FEES DUE TO THEM NOT WANTING TO TAKE MY MONEY. THEY SAID IT’S FROM CORPORATE WELL OK NEVER HEARD OF CORPORATE EVER REFUSING TO ACCEPT MONEY. THEY SAY THAT THEY GAVE YOU PAPERS THEY NEVER DO. THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH THE PARK THE MAINTENANCE PEOPLE AND THE MANAGEMENT PEOPLE ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF US OUR RENT IS ALWAYS INCREASED EVERY QUARTERLY. IT SEEMS LIKE THE LAST PAST 12 YEARS THEY DON’T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS OR FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR. MISS FOX HAS STATED SHE DON’T CARE. SHE’S THE MANAGER SHE CAN STOP MAIL THE ROAD BLOCK TRAFFIC AND DO WHATEVER SHE PLEASES, WALK INTO PEOPLE HOUSES, AND ON THE PROPERTY AND TELL THEM WHAT THEY CAN AND CAN’T DO TELL THEM WHAT KIND OF CARS THEY CAN’T HAVE AND WHAT KIND OF CARS THEY CAN’T TELL THEM HOW MANY CARS THEY CAN BUY AND EVERYTHING AND TELL THEM HOW TO LIVE THEIR LIVES. YOU CAN’T BE A SIMPLE PERSON. JUST MIND YOUR BUSINESS IN THIS PARK. IT’S NOT ALLOWED THEY WANT YOU TO CAUSE PROBLEMS AND TO BE AN OUTCAST DUE TO THE FACT, IS THEY LIKE THE TRAUMA I HAVE KEPT TO MYSELF FOR 12 YEARS. I HAVE BITTEN MY TONGUE, BUT I AM NO LONGER DOING IT. MISS FOX HAS BEEN RUDE DISRESPECTFUL AND AT TIMES BE BELLIGERENT. HER DOG IS ALWAYS OFF THE LEASH AND IT’S OK BECAUSE SHE’S THE MANAGER THERE’S A LEASH LAW. SHE HAS AN AFFAIR GOING ON WITH THE MAINTENANCE GUY, ROGER, WHO IS VERY DISRESPECTFUL AS WELL HE IS BELLIGERENT AND HE IS DRINKING ON THE JOB WHILE HE’S PLOWING THE ROADS BUT WHEN HE HITS A CAR, HE DON’T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. HE GOES AROUND AND ASK CHILDREN WHERE THEY LIVE AND ASK HIM QUESTIONS ABOUT THEIR HOUSEHOLD, WHICH IS NOT APPROPRIATE. I AM FILING A LAWSUIT AGAINST THE PARK FOR SLANDERING FOR SLUMLORDS AND FOR HARASSMENT AND FOR VANDALISM AND TRESPASSING DUE TO THEY THINK THAT THEY ARE ALLOWED TO TOUCH AND REMOVE ITEMS FROM YOUR CAR OR ON YOUR CAR AND YOU TAKE THINGS FROM YOUR HOUSE AND YOU WALK UP AND SAY YOU CAN’T HAVE THIS BUT EVERY EVERYBODY ELSE CAN HAVE IT IT’S NITPICK The manager is can’t understand normal thinking that is what she is but yet we have to obey by her standards and accept it. She refuses to give us information on the management company that owns it. She keeps saying I’m not liberty to discuss it and then they’re disrespectful of. Are you on the lease? I am a caretaker for someone who is here that lives here which I have lived here for 12 years and taking care of it yet Also a sudden I’m not allowed to be here. We’re right they have lost paperwork. They have lost everything that you file with them they say they write it down I believe different. I was told I’m not allowed to have cameras up because I’ve had had theft in my house and all that but yet she says it’s a community. It’s OK we all be together and help each other out. Nope if somebody wants something they can afford it by themselves instead of taking it but yet it’s OK. They’re allowing all that to go on here Common person who just wants to work and live their American life the way they want to is not OK here so do not come to this park if you don’t want to have people like that around, I don’t see many years of this place last name with all the lawsuits that have been occurring in this place.

Nov 07, 2022 · Rick PriceI love living here! Moved to this park in 2008 and raised my family in an awesome environment. My kids enjoyed the park and pool area. The clubhouse is amazing and have used for my private family functions free of charge. The park is clean and there are so many that do take pride in taking care of their mobile homes. There are a few homes that need attention, but overall this is were I choose to live because it is affordable for my family.Everything you can possibly need is at walking distance. I am always able to reach management without an issue. I’ve left a message and I receive a prompt response. I love that you can pay your rent online now! Thank you Harmony Village for adding that to your website! My experience has been a good one since I purchased my home from them.
Mar 10, 2024 · Maria CisnerosIt's decent. Driving through this trailer park, it seems rather clean and upkept. There are signs throughout this place that say "No parking on street" but apparently it does not matter. This is rather confusing, as I am a non-resident, and waiting for the person I was visiting to get home, I felt nervous and worried that I was in any violation. This is really all I can speak to, since I don't live here and rarely visit.
Jun 02, 2019 · Avenged UndeadNice trailer park the only problem I see is there are too many trailer homes in the park. There is no method to their numbering that I've been able to figure out, since my friend moved there.
