Hidden Haven Senior Mobile Park Introduce
Are you seeking a senior living community or exploring long-term options within the "RV parks near me" category in Shelton, Washington? Hidden Haven Senior Mobile Park, located at 1700 E Shelton Springs Rd, Shelton, WA 98584, USA, is advertised as a senior mobile home park. However, recent reviews from individuals who have interacted with the park or whose family members reside there paint a concerning picture regarding the management's professionalism and treatment of residents, which potential residents should carefully consider.
One review details a particularly troubling experience involving a prospective resident, a 91-year-old grandmother looking to purchase one of the two houses reportedly for sale within the park with cash. Initially, the reviewer's interaction with the manager seemed positive and informative. The manager allegedly instructed the reviewer to register the grandmother's dog as an ADA service dog, assuring them that as long as the registration could be verified online, the dog would be permitted to live there. Following these instructions, the reviewer proceeded to register the dog as an ADA service animal.
However, upon contacting the manager again, the reviewer reports a stark and negative change in demeanor. The manager allegedly became "completely rude" and stated unequivocally that there was "absolutely no way that dog will be allowed to live there." The reviewer attempted to explain the legal protections afforded to ADA-registered service animals, emphasizing that discrimination based on size, breed, or service status is prohibited. Despite this explanation, the manager reportedly remained dismissive and even told the reviewer "good luck on getting a lawyer!" The reviewer expresses significant confusion and distress over this contradictory behavior, questioning why the manager would initially provide instructions for registering the service dog only to then deny its admittance.
Another review from an individual whose mother resides at Hidden Haven Senior Mobile Park describes a distressing situation following the passing of their stepfather. According to this review, "ever since they found out he died the manager was over there telling her she couldn't have her grandbabies over there and just been complete hell ever since." This account suggests a lack of compassion and sensitivity from the management during a resident's bereavement period. The imposition of restrictions on visits from grandchildren immediately following a death indicates a potentially harsh and unwelcoming environment for grieving residents and their families.
Considering these two recent reviews, potential residents searching for a senior mobile home park or exploring "RV parks near me" for long-term senior living in Shelton, WA, should be aware of these serious allegations regarding the management of Hidden Haven Senior Mobile Park. While the physical environment and amenities of the park are not detailed in these reviews, the reported interactions with the management raise significant concerns about the overall quality of life and the treatment of residents and prospective residents.
The first review suggests potential issues with the management's understanding or adherence to fair housing laws regarding service animals. The abrupt reversal of information and the dismissive and confrontational response to the reviewer's attempts to clarify the legal rights of service animals are deeply troubling. Such behavior could create a hostile and discriminatory environment for residents who rely on service animals for their well-being and independence.
The second review paints a picture of a management that lacks empathy and imposes restrictive rules on residents during vulnerable times. The immediate imposition of limitations on family visits following a death suggests a community that may not prioritize the emotional and social support needs of its residents. This could be particularly concerning for seniors who often rely on visits from family members for comfort and companionship.
Given the severity of these allegations, prospective residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Hidden Haven Senior Mobile Park as a place to live. This due diligence should include attempting to speak with current residents (if possible) to gain a broader understanding of their experiences with the management and the overall community environment.
Directly contacting the park management at (360) 426-4888 or their mobile number +1 360-426-4888 is also essential. During any communication with the management, prospective residents should inquire specifically about the park's policies regarding service animals, guest visits (especially for extended family like grandchildren), and the procedures for handling sensitive situations such as the bereavement of a resident. It would also be prudent to ask about the tenure of the current management to understand if the reported issues are recent or have been ongoing.
Furthermore, potential residents may want to explore alternative senior living communities or long-term RV parks in the Shelton, WA area to compare management styles and resident experiences. Investigating other options within the "RV parks near me" category that cater to seniors might reveal communities with more positive and supportive management.
In conclusion, while Hidden Haven Senior Mobile Park is presented as a senior living community in Shelton, WA, the recent reviews available online raise significant red flags regarding the professionalism, empathy, and adherence to fair housing principles of the park's management. Prospective residents should carefully consider these serious allegations and conduct thorough research before making any decisions about residing in this community. The reported experiences suggest a potentially negative living environment that could significantly impact the well-being and peace of mind of senior residents.

Hidden Haven Senior Mobile Park Reviews
Wow!! Absolutely horrible! I am trying to find a home for my 91 year old grandmother. She can pay, for one of the two houses that are for sale, in cash! I call and speak with the manager. He was so nice and informative. Told me I would first have to get her dog registered as an ADA service dog and as long as he can go online and look up the number she could move in there. I did as he instructed. I call back and he is completely rude to me! He tells me there is absolutely no way that dog will be allowed to live there. I explained to him that he is now an ADA registered service dog that he cannot discriminate against him for size, breed, or service. He didn't care and told me good luck on getting a lawyer! Well I am in the process of doing such. I am so confused as to why he would tell me to get the dog registered and then treat me this way!
