Hidden River Introduce
Welcome to Hidden River RV Park, situated at 12500 McMullen Loop, Riverview, FL 33569, USA. For those searching for 'RV parks near me' in the Riverview area, Hidden River presents a location with notably divergent opinions from its customers, indicating a potentially varied experience depending on individual expectations and circumstances.
Located in Riverview, Hidden River RV Park benefits from its proximity to the Tampa Bay region, offering access to various attractions, amenities, and natural landscapes. Riverview itself provides a blend of suburban comfort and access to the wider Tampa metropolitan area, including shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The location also allows for relatively easy travel to the Gulf Coast beaches and other popular Florida destinations.
The environment of Hidden River RV Park, based on customer reviews, appears to be a point of contention. One reviewer expresses significant dissatisfaction, stating that despite a "high price," the park is not "nice." This individual mentions several specific issues, including "broken equipment in the laundry room," an "unheated, cold swimming pool," "a lot of feral cats being fed by the full-time residents of the park," and "barking dogs at all hours." These comments paint a picture of a potentially unkempt or poorly managed environment with issues affecting comfort, hygiene, and peace.
Conversely, another reviewer offers a much more positive perspective, recommending Hidden River as "a great place to stay." This reviewer specifically praises "Christine in the office" as "the absolute best," highlighting her helpfulness and informativeness regarding reservations. This suggests that while some aspects of the park may be lacking, the customer service provided by at least one staff member is a significant positive.
When considering 'RV parks near me,' the availability and quality of services are paramount. Based on the negative review, some services at Hidden River appear to be subpar. The mention of "broken equipment in the laundry room" indicates a potential lack of maintenance for essential facilities. The "unheated, cold swimming pool" suggests that a recreational amenity may not be usable or enjoyable during certain times of the year. The presence of "feral cats" could be a concern for hygiene and pet owners, while "barking dogs at all hours" can significantly impact the peace and quiet of the park.
The positive review does not elaborate on the specific services offered, but the praise for the office staff suggests that reservation processes and information provision are handled well. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the services available at Hidden River RV Park, prospective visitors would need to inquire directly about laundry facilities, pool operation, pet policies, and noise regulations.
Information regarding the specific features of Hidden River RV Park is also somewhat limited and contradictory based on the provided reviews. The negative review implicitly mentions a laundry room and a swimming pool, albeit with criticisms about their condition. The presence of "full-time residents" suggests that the park caters to both short-term RVers and long-term stays. The mention of "feral cats being fed by the full-time residents" and "barking dogs" indicates a degree of pet presence within the community, although the park's official pet policy is not stated.
The positive review does not detail any specific features of the park itself, focusing instead on the positive interaction with the office staff. To obtain a complete list of features, such as the availability of Wi-Fi, restrooms, showers, recreational areas, or other amenities commonly found in RV parks, direct inquiry with the park management (via phone at (813) 677-1515 or mobile at +1 813-677-1515) would be necessary.
Given the conflicting reviews, any potential promotional information for Hidden River RV Park would need to carefully address the concerns raised while highlighting the positive aspects. For instance, promotions might focus on the helpfulness of the staff, particularly Christine, as mentioned in one review. If any of the issues raised in the negative review (broken laundry equipment, unheated pool, feral cats, noise) have been addressed, promotional materials should emphasize these improvements.
Potential promotional angles could include:
- Highlighting Excellent Customer Service: Featuring the positive feedback about the office staff, especially Christine, and emphasizing their commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Showcasing Location Advantages: Promoting the park's convenient location in Riverview with access to Tampa Bay area attractions and amenities.
- Pet-Friendly Environment (with clarifications): If the park officially welcomes pets, this could be a draw, but it would be important to clarify any rules regarding feral animals and noise control.
- Recently Upgraded Amenities: If any of the criticized facilities (laundry, pool) have been renovated or improved, this should be a key focus of promotions.
- Seasonal Specials or Discounts: Offering competitive pricing or special rates, particularly during off-peak seasons, to attract budget-conscious travelers.
- Long-Term Stay Options: If the park caters to long-term residents, highlighting the community aspect (if positive) and any amenities geared towards extended stays.
For individuals searching for 'RV parks near me' in Riverview, Hidden River RV Park presents a mixed bag based on the available reviews. The positive feedback regarding the office staff suggests a potentially pleasant experience in terms of customer service. However, the negative review raises significant concerns about the park's environment, maintenance, and noise levels. Prospective visitors should carefully consider these contrasting viewpoints and are strongly advised to contact the park directly to inquire about the current status of the facilities, pet policies, noise regulations, and any recent improvements. An on-site visit might also be beneficial to assess the conditions firsthand before making a reservation. The significant disparity in customer experiences indicates that individual stays at Hidden River could vary considerably.
In conclusion, Hidden River RV Park in Riverview, FL, is a location that has received both positive feedback regarding its staff and negative feedback concerning its amenities and environment. For those seeking 'RV parks near me,' it is crucial to weigh these contrasting opinions and conduct thorough due diligence to determine if Hidden River meets their specific needs and expectations.

Hidden River Reviews
For the high price this place charged you'd think it would be nice. It is NOT! Broken equipment in the laundry room, unheated, cold swimming pool,a lot of feral cats being fed by the full-time residents of the park, & barking dogs at all hours. Horrible RV Park!

Dec 12, 2024 · Brent WebbOne of our favorite camp spots, great sites, clean showers/bathrooms. They always have activities in the clubhouse and the permanent residents are so friendly.
Jan 19, 2025 · Debi Baumgartner (Debiinc)Power has been restored after Hurricane. Milton. They are presently working on the sewer lift station due to flooding.I would call ahead to see if FHU & daily / weekly sites are available. The park is doing a good job trying to keep residents comfortable.
Oct 14, 2024 · Linda GiordanoThe park is located in a great quiet neighborhood. Staff are helpful and friendly. Facility is all new within the past 2 years. I travel all over the country for work so I know a nice RV park when I see it. Lots are pull threws with fire pits and tables. Grounds are very well kept. You must be 55+ to stay longer than 6 months, not 52,53,54 1/2. It's 55+ . Has a boat launch for small boats, it's a river so no yachts, also storage space for your boats and RV 🫡🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
