We truly miss Joni Fernandez as our manager—she was compassionate, fair, and always communicated with residents. Montechristo Communities Corporation worked her like a mule and let a good employee go—their mistake. Since she left, management has completely gone downhill.Power goes out regularly, and we deal with sewage backups, yet there’s no maintenance on-site and no manager available when we need help. The new manager, Monica, only works three days a week but won’t answer calls even during her working hours. Christina, the area manager, screens her calls and only returns them when it’s convenient for her.We have no security, poor lighting, no pool, no clubhouse, NO Maintenance , and no on-site MANAGER—yet rent keeps increasing! Who is actually getting paid to manage this place?Who’s the one calling the police when transients stroll looking at our property? The residents! We should get paid for doing their job!To make things worse, management only enforces rules when it benefits them. This community deserves better!!! - D

Highland Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce

Welcome to Highland Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 26135 E Baseline St, Highland, CA 92346, USA. For those searching for 'RV parks near me' or considering a mobile home community in the Highland area, Highland Mobile Home & RV Park presents itself as an option. You can reach them at (909) 414-3520 or +1 909-414-3520 for inquiries.

Based on the available customer reviews, Highland Mobile Home & RV Park appears to be a community facing significant challenges related to its management and infrastructure. Several reviewers express strong dissatisfaction with the current management, particularly following the departure of a previous manager named Joni Fernandez, who is remembered fondly for her compassion, fairness, and communication skills. The subsequent management, under Montechristo Communities Corporation, is described as having "completely gone downhill" after her departure.

A major concern raised by multiple residents is the lack of adequate maintenance. Reviews report recurring issues such as "power goes out regularly" and problems with "sewage backups." Despite these significant utility problems, there is allegedly "no maintenance on-site" to address them promptly. Furthermore, residents claim that there is "no manager available when we need help." The current manager, Monica, is said to work only three days a week and is reportedly unresponsive to calls, even during her working hours. The area manager, Christina, is also accused of screening calls and only returning them at her convenience, further exacerbating the difficulty residents face in getting necessary issues addressed.

Beyond maintenance and management accessibility, residents also report a lack of essential amenities and services. According to one review, the park has "no security, poor lighting, no pool, no clubhouse, NO Maintenance , and no on-site MANAGER." The absence of security and poor lighting can raise concerns about the safety and security of residents and their property, especially given claims that "transients stroll looking at our property." In such instances, it is reportedly the residents themselves who call the police, leading to the sentiment that "We should get paid for doing their job!"

Despite the apparent lack of services and the issues with utilities and management, residents claim that "rent keeps increasing," leading to the question of "Who is actually getting paid to manage this place?" This discrepancy between the cost of living and the level of service provided is a significant point of contention for the residents who have shared their experiences online.

Another serious allegation is that "management only enforces rules when it benefits them," suggesting a lack of fairness and consistency in the application of community regulations. This can create a sense of injustice and further erode trust between residents and management.

Amidst these overwhelmingly negative reviews concerning management and infrastructure, there is one contrasting comment: "This is a small park but the residents are very cool." This positive feedback highlights a potential strength of the community – the camaraderie and positive interactions among the residents themselves. The reviewer also mentions having done maintenance work there and found the manager to be "a great lady." This review seems to predate the more recent complaints about the decline in management and maintenance.

Given that Highland Mobile Home & RV Park includes "RV Park" in its name, it may offer spaces for recreational vehicles in addition to mobile home lots. However, the majority of the reviews focus on the experiences of long-term residents dealing with management and maintenance issues. There is no specific information provided about the facilities or services offered specifically for RVs. Therefore, RV travelers looking for a park in the Highland area should contact Highland Mobile Home & RV Park directly to inquire about their RV accommodations and amenities.

For individuals considering long-term residency in either a mobile home or an RV at this location, the significant negative feedback regarding the current management, lack of maintenance, recurring utility problems, and absence of expected amenities like security and recreational facilities warrants serious consideration. While the sense of community among residents is mentioned as a positive aspect by one reviewer, the systemic issues appear to outweigh this for many.

Prospective residents are strongly advised to contact Highland Mobile Home & RV Park directly at (909) 414-3520 or +1 909-414-3520 to inquire about the current management situation, the status of maintenance services, the reliability of utilities, and the security measures in place. It is crucial to get direct answers to the concerns raised in the reviews and to understand what steps, if any, are being taken to address these issues. Inquire about the specific amenities available to residents and the policies regarding rent increases.

Visiting the park in person would be essential to assess the actual condition of the grounds, the lighting, and any visible signs of maintenance neglect or utility problems. If possible, speaking with current residents (beyond those who have left online reviews) could provide a more up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of the living conditions and the responsiveness of the management.

In conclusion, Highland Mobile Home & RV Park in Highland, CA, appears to be a community with a potentially positive resident base but faces significant challenges related to its current management, lack of maintenance, unreliable utilities, and absence of expected amenities. The strong negative feedback in recent reviews should give potential residents pause and necessitate thorough investigation and direct communication with the park management to ascertain the current state of affairs and whether it meets their living requirements and expectations.
