Hillside Mobile Home Court Introduce
For individuals and families exploring long-term housing solutions in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, particularly when their search for "RV Parks Near Me" encompasses manufactured home communities, Hillside Mobile Home Court presents a specific residential option. Located at 10211 W Greenfield Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53214, this community offers a distinct living experience within the city. For inquiries, you can reach them at (414) 573-8255 or +1 414-573-8255.
Hillside Mobile Home Court is situated on West Greenfield Avenue in Milwaukee, placing it within a well-established urban and suburban transitional area. This location provides residents with the significant advantage of urban accessibility, meaning convenient access to a wide array of city amenities, including shopping centers, diverse dining options, healthcare facilities, and various employment opportunities. Being in Milwaukee, residents benefit from the city's public transportation network and proximity to major roadways, facilitating commutes and daily errands. While it is an urban setting rather than a rural retreat, the community aims to provide a sense of neighborhood and quiet living within this environment. A resident review highlights this, stating, "People are nice and quiet, homes are kept up," suggesting that despite its urban context, the community cultivates a peaceful atmosphere and residents generally maintain their properties well. This balance of city convenience with a community feel is a key aspect of its environment.
As a mobile home park, Hillside Mobile Home Court primarily offers developed lots for manufactured homes, providing a pathway to homeownership or long-term rental. Manufactured home communities typically provide essential utility hook-ups, such as water, sewer, and electricity, for residents. While specific details on included utilities in the lot rent are not provided, one review states that "Lot rent is reasonable," indicating that residents find the cost of living there to be fair compared to other housing options. This affordability is a significant feature of manufactured home living and a key attraction for many residents.
A notable feature, as highlighted by a resident, is the perceived positive relationship with the owner/management: "owner is nice to deal with , one owner that actually cares." This direct positive feedback about management responsiveness and care is valuable, as effective and supportive management can significantly enhance the living experience in any community. The emphasis on "homes are kept up" also suggests that the community has standards for property maintenance, contributing to a pleasant aesthetic and overall quality of life within the park. The presence of a community where "People are nice and quiet" further points to a generally harmonious living environment.
However, it is crucial to present a balanced view by addressing other feedback. One review directly contradicts the positive sentiment about management: "Called the owner about properties available and he was extremely rude, told me to call back later, and hung up on me. We will never do business at this trailer park." This starkly negative experience suggests that interactions with management can be inconsistent, potentially impacting prospective residents' initial impressions and willingness to engage with the community. This discrepancy in feedback indicates that individual experiences may vary significantly.
Typically, mobile home communities establish rules and regulations to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all residents, covering aspects like pet policies, property appearance, and noise levels. While not explicitly detailed for Hillside Mobile Home Court, such rules are standard for maintaining a cohesive community. The phrase "properties kept up" suggests that these rules are either well-understood or enforced effectively to maintain standards.
Hillside Mobile Home Court's primary promotional appeal would likely center on its reasonable lot rent, the sense of a quiet and well-maintained community, and the advantages of affordable homeownership in a desirable urban-adjacent location. The positive resident testimonials, such as the "2 year anniversary today and we love the property" comment, serve as strong organic promotion, highlighting long-term satisfaction and a pleasant living environment. These comments suggest that for residents who are already part of the community, there is a strong sense of contentment and appreciation for the atmosphere and management.
However, any promotional efforts must contend with the contrasting negative feedback, particularly the severe critique of rudeness from the owner/management. This type of experience can deter potential residents before they even have a chance to see the property or understand the community dynamics. For prospective residents considering Hillside Mobile Home Court, it would be prudent to:
- Approach initial inquiries with an open mind but also prepared for potentially varied interactions with management. It might be advisable to try contacting them via both phone numbers provided, or to seek an in-person visit if possible, to gauge their responsiveness and demeanor directly.
- Inquire specifically about lot rent, what it includes, and any other associated fees to confirm the "reasonable" aspect for their individual budget.
- Ask about current available homes for sale or lots for rent, and understand the process for purchasing a home within the community.
- If possible, visit the community to observe the overall upkeep of homes and common areas, and potentially speak with residents to get a broader perspective on daily life and management relations.
In conclusion, Hillside Mobile Home Court offers a quiet and seemingly well-maintained manufactured home community in Milwaukee, providing residents with reasonable lot rent and a sense of belonging in an urban-accessible location. While positive resident experiences highlight a caring owner and a pleasant living environment, the starkly contrasting feedback regarding management's initial interaction with prospective residents suggests an area for caution. For those whose "RV Parks Near Me" search leads them to consider long-term manufactured home living, Hillside Mobile Home Court is a place where direct inquiry and observation would be particularly beneficial to form a comprehensive understanding of its offerings and environment.

Apr 21, 2025 · Heidi HildemanI loved this mobile home community! It was so quiet and serene. Neighbors would come out and greet each other kindly..There were a few 'bad seeds' but the owner usually found reason to be rid of them. I would definitely come back and live here if I could sell my brick house, which I hope to do soon. I just hope Mike, the owner, can find a mobile home for me on his property when I am in the process of buying. This is far the BEST community in the county of Milwaukee.
Feb 15, 2015 · beau kirschBest Trailer Park in West Allis. People are friendly, the park is well taken care of, and the owner does a good job of making sure everyone abides by the rules. Lived there four years and I really liked it, may possibly go back again someday.
