Holiday Village RV Park, Sachse, TX Introduce
For local RV enthusiasts and travelers seeking a functional RV park in the Sachse, Texas area, Holiday Village RV Park, located at 6610 S State Hwy 78, presents a pragmatic option. When searching for "RV parks near me," factors such as safety and connectivity can be crucial, especially for those working remotely or needing to stay connected. Holiday Village RV Park appears to offer these aspects, as highlighted by recent visitor experiences. This introduction aims to provide local users with a balanced overview of the park based on the available customer feedback, addressing both its strengths and limitations.
Situated in Sachse, Texas, a suburb northeast of Dallas, Holiday Village RV Park benefits from its location within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. This provides residents and visitors with access to a wide range of urban amenities, including employment opportunities, cultural attractions, shopping centers, and healthcare facilities. Its position on South State Highway 78 offers convenient access to major transportation routes, facilitating travel to and from the park and the surrounding areas. However, as noted in one review, this proximity to a major highway also results in traffic noise, which is a factor potential guests should consider.
The customer reviews for Holiday Village RV Park offer a mixed but informative perspective. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction, describing the park as "out dated" and lacking amenities, offering just a "concrete slab." This reviewer also points out the noise from the adjacent highway and criticizes a policy of not accepting campers older than 10 years, questioning the rationale behind such a restriction for what they perceive as a basic facility. This review suggests that the park may be more utilitarian in its offerings and might not appeal to those seeking extensive amenities or a more scenic environment.
In contrast, another guest who stayed at the park while their spouse was working nearby had a more positive experience, particularly regarding safety and connectivity. They explicitly mention feeling "very safe in the area," which is a significant factor for many travelers. Furthermore, as someone working remotely, this guest highlighted the "reliable wifi" and noted that they "never had an issue" with it. In today's connected world, reliable internet access is a crucial amenity for many RVers, and Holiday Village RV Park seems to deliver in this aspect. This reviewer did acknowledge "some traffic noise" but found it manageable with the use of a fan for sleeping. They also noted that the "sites are on the small side" but that this was not a problem for their stay.
An especially noteworthy aspect of the second review is the positive experience with the park staff during a medical emergency. The guest's husband required major surgery, and they reported that "the park staff was very helpful" both while he was in the hospital and during his recovery period. This level of support and care from the staff can be a significant comfort during challenging times and speaks to the potential for a supportive community or at least attentive management within the park.
Based on these reviews, the services and features of Holiday Village RV Park appear to be somewhat basic but functional. It likely offers essential utility hookups for RVs, including electricity, water, and sewer connections at each concrete pad site. The mention of concrete slabs suggests a relatively easy setup for parking. The reliable WiFi is a significant feature, particularly for those needing to work or stay connected online. While amenities like restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, or recreational areas are not explicitly mentioned, their absence is implied by the "no amenities" comment in one review. Potential guests should inquire directly about the availability of these or any other specific services they may require.
The environment of Holiday Village RV Park is characterized by its practicality and proximity to a major highway. The "concrete slab" description suggests a no-frills approach to the sites, likely prioritizing functionality over aesthetics or natural surroundings. The "loud highway" mentioned in one review indicates that noise could be a factor affecting the ambiance of the park, although one guest found it manageable. The feeling of safety reported by one guest is a positive environmental aspect, contributing to peace of mind during one's stay.
Promotional aspects of Holiday Village RV Park, based on the reviews, could focus on its reliable WiFi, its sense of safety, and the helpfulness of the staff, particularly in emergency situations. For travelers prioritizing these aspects over extensive amenities or a scenic location, Holiday Village RV Park could be an attractive option. The park's location in Sachse also provides convenient access to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. However, the park should also be transparent about the highway noise and the basic nature of the sites.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Sachse area, Holiday Village RV Park offers a stay that prioritizes connectivity and safety. While it may lack extensive amenities and is subject to highway noise, the reliable WiFi and the supportive staff, as reported by one guest, are significant advantages, especially for those working remotely or seeking a secure environment. Potential guests should weigh these factors against the reported lack of amenities and the age restriction on campers. Contacting the park directly to inquire about specific site details, the availability of any amenities not mentioned in the reviews, and the specifics of the camper age policy is highly recommended to determine if Holiday Village RV Park meets your individual needs and preferences for your stay in the Sachse area.

Holiday Village RV Park, Sachse, TX Reviews
The place is out dated and has no amenities, just a concrete slab, next to a loud highway and crazy enough for a crap place they don’t take campers that are older than 10 yrs like what’s the point
Mar 20, 2025 · Dezmielynn LopezWe stayed at this RV park while my husband was on a work project nearby. There is some traffic noise but with a fan, we were able to sleep without any issue. We felt very safe in the area. I work remote so needed access to reliable wifi and I never had an issue. The sites are on the small side but it was never an issue for us. While here, my husband had some medical issues and ended up having major surgery. The park staff was very helpful while he was in the hospital and during his recovery period.
Aug 11, 2024 · Lori BrowningI visit Plano, TX regularly for work. Glenda, owner, and Paula, site manager, have always accommodated me even when my plans are last minute or change. Holiday Village is conveniently located with lots of restaurants and entertainment places nearby. Even with traffic, I can get to and from Plano Industrial district in 15 minutes or less. Rate are competitive.Thank you Glenda and Paula for always making me feel like family!
Jun 21, 2024 · Scott HillThe park is beyond out dated. Outside of decent WiFi there are absolutely no amenities. You are packed in like sardines, I did get to watch a truck get repossessed the other day and my neighbor is an odd person that likes to work on things after dark and sit in his truck while smoking substances. The on site manager is a sweetheart but the owner Glenda I’m not so sure about. Apparently they think this tiny RV park is a resort park and like to charge you as such. Sleeping is difficult since you are at the intersection of a state highway and the sound of traffic is loud. During rush hour watch out for people cutting through the park to avoid the red light.
Mar 27, 2024 · Andy R (Andy)We sure enjoyed our stay over Christmas ! Paula the on site manager was so nice and easy to deal with she took care of all of needs. Easy in and out. Would definitely stay again.
