JCRV Resort Reviews
We recently stayed here for just shy of two months and we absolutely loved it! The location (just off 281, an hour to San Antonio, an hour to Austin) was perfect for us, and if you're running your AC or heater you wont hear much of 281 traffic. The resort staff/owners are not on site but are very attentive; communication via email and text was always prompt, and they come by to clean up/check on the property often. The spacious dog park was perfect for our two big dogs. The resort is small, but that was a bonus for us. Fellow residents of the park were all very personable, respected dog park rules, and park rules. We loved the bench and astroturf at each spot!If in the area we will definitely stay here again!

Mar 04, 2025 · Ezra WeeksWe stayed here for over 2 months while waiting for our new house. I’m very happy we went with this park vs others. What sold us was the dog park. We have two big dogs. We wanted them to have daily outside time. We felt very at home here for our stay. While we hope we are never out of our home for an extended time again, if we were, we’d stay at this park again!
Aug 26, 2022 · Megan VerburgtThis RV park is small with about a dozen sites. The entire park is gravel and is situated very close to a major highway (281) and you get a lot of road noise at times. Staff were not on site and all communications were thru email and those were very slow. Leaving the park and having to cross that major highway was dangerous, having a 40' trailer being pulled by a longbed dually. The space between north and south traffic was maybe 25' and that left a lot of trailer out in the highway. I sat for quite a while until there was a break in the traffic and finally made it out. What i found really amusing was that this park used the term 'Resort' in the name. They need to look up the definition. The ONLY facility was a dog park. No clubhouse, no showers, no laundry. You have to go outside the park to dispose of your garbage.
