One of the most significant pieces of information from the customer reviews is the change in ownership at Koastal RV Park. The new owner is credited with having "cleared out all previous baggage" and now operating what is described as a "world-class site." This statement strongly implies that previous experiences at the park may not be indicative of the current state, and that significant improvements have been made under the new management. For those who may have had prior reservations or are simply looking for a fresh and well-run "RV park near me," this positive shift in management is a crucial point to consider.
The environment of Koastal RV Park, based on the limited but positive reviews, appears to be characterized by tranquility. One reviewer specifically noted that the park was "very quiet," which can be a significant draw for RVers seeking a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the noise and bustle of more crowded locations. This quiet atmosphere, combined with the positive changes under new ownership, suggests a potentially serene and enjoyable setting for both short and long-term stays.
A notable feature mentioned in one of the reviews is the addition of a propane exchange station, identified as "Big Gas Supply." This on-site convenience is a significant advantage for RV travelers, as propane is essential for various RV functions, including cooking, heating, and refrigeration. May 08, 2025 · Toni JonesOur names are Cory and Angel. Angel will be reviewing because she spends the most time at the campgrounds.Angel-I have been waiting to start reviewing some campgrounds we have stayed in. I was waiting so I would have a few to compare against. We have now stayed in 12(some more than once) since June 2019.First about us, my fiancé is a pipe welder and we live in our RV full time traveling from job to job. We moved into the RV fulltime in June 2019.When we moved our camper here we had a lot going on in our personal life or we would have never stayed here at all. Our dog that we had for 12 years was in the hospital and we found out she was in kidney failure(had already been in heart failure). We had to put her to sleep the day after we moved. Also just had first grandchild born in Mobile. This location was between the job and Mobile which is where the baby and animal hospital was located. When we got here a shirtless man waived us into a spot. So I start talking to this guy and gather that he is maintenance at the campground. He was sooo unprofessional!! Even the N word was used by him during this conversation. This guy had never seen us yet was talking this way. In this conversation I say something about our dog. He then tells me there is 3 Pitbulls that stay in the park. I didn't ask he was just offering this info. He then points toward campers and says 2 over there and 1 over there. Then he adds but they're always on leashes.Later after being there I figured out the 2 actually belong to him. And in the month I was there NEVER seen a leash on any of those 3 dogs.We stayed a month and it was hell. The owner seems nice but I don't think he's there enough to really know what goes on. First, I would not want these shirtless guy to be the face of my business and certainly not the mouth. The next real problem was the partying all the time all night. MANY nights I was still awake at 3 am waiting for them to pass out drunk so I could finally go to sleep. They built a pavilion right in the middle of all the campers so if people are hanging out there everyone has to hear it. Not smart!!From my understanding most of the guys that live there work together. That would mean they have about the same schedule so I guess they just assume everyone has the same work schedule as them. News Flash!! We don't work with yall and have to get up even when the rest of the trailer park boys have the next day off.The campers had junk just all around them. Trashy! The woman next to us that I didn't see to often had 2 little kids. These children found fun in knocking on the side of others campers. To sum this place up, they should have paid us the $350/month for the nightmare this place is.And remember while here I had just put my dog to sleep I was grieving and this was a terrible place to do that... NEVER WILL WE GO BACK HERE!!! We have a job about 15 minutes from them next week and will gladly drive however long it takes to get to a decent place to put out RV.I wouldn't call this a business. This is a cover up for these men to stay away from their house to do as they please without a wife to nag. So they shouldn't list this as a campground.
