La Loma Introduce
While your search might be under the category "RV parks near me," the following information pertains to La Loma Mobile Home Park, located at 1288 N Bagley St, Dallas, TX 75211, USA. Mobile home parks can sometimes offer long-term RV living arrangements, making this information potentially relevant for those seeking extended stays in the Dallas area. You can contact La Loma Mobile Home Park at (214) 339-5533 or via mobile at +1 214-339-5533 for inquiries. Based on the limited customer reviews available, La Loma Mobile Home Park presents a community that has been positively experienced by some long-term residents, particularly regarding its environment for raising children and the friendliness of neighbors. However, there are also significant negative experiences reported concerning management practices and pricing policies.
One long-term resident, who lived in La Loma for over 27 years, offers a glowing review of the community. They describe it as a "Great place to raise your children," indicating a family-friendly environment. This positive sentiment from a long-term resident suggests that the community may foster a supportive and nurturing atmosphere for families. The reviewer also highlights the kindness and friendliness of the residents, noting that they "will wave as you drive by," indicating a welcoming and neighborly community spirit. Furthermore, they commend "The m team" (presumably the management team at the time of their experience) for working hard to resolve issues in a timely manner, suggesting a responsive approach to resident concerns during their extended stay. This long-term positive experience paints a picture of a well-regarded community by at least one of its residents.
In stark contrast, another reviewer expresses a highly negative opinion of La Loma Mobile Home Park. Their review begins with a blunt "This place is awful!!" This strong condemnation is followed by specific grievances regarding pricing and management. The reviewer claims that the park is "Over priced" and that the staff is "tolerable at best," suggesting dissatisfaction with the cost of living and the level of service provided by the staff.
More serious allegations are leveled against the owners, who are described as "unreasonable" and accused of changing the rules "mid stream" without considering the impact on residents' lives. This suggests potential instability and a lack of consideration for the residents' well-being and financial situations. The reviewer provides a specific example of financial loss, stating, "I lost $1000 because they changed the lot rent(Which is unreasonable int the first place) during the application process." This is a significant accusation, indicating a lack of transparency and potentially unfair business practices during the initial stages of residency. The substantial financial loss reported by this potential resident serves as a strong warning to others considering moving to La Loma.
Based on their negative experience, this reviewer strongly advises others to "DO NOT EVEN THINK OF MOVING HERE!!!" This emphatic warning underscores the severity of their dissatisfaction and the negative impact the park's policies and management allegedly had on their experience.
Considering these two highly contrasting reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive objective picture of La Loma Mobile Home Park. The positive review from a long-term resident suggests a community with positive social aspects and potentially responsive management at some point in the past. The negative review, however, raises serious concerns about current pricing, management practices, and the financial implications for potential residents.
For individuals searching under "RV parks near me" for long-term options in Dallas, it is crucial to approach La Loma Mobile Home Park with significant caution. The discrepancy between the two available reviews highlights the importance of thorough investigation and due diligence. Potential residents should directly inquire about the current lot rental rates, any fees associated with residency, the rules and regulations of the park, and the management's policies regarding changes to these terms.
Given the serious allegations of unreasonable owners, mid-stream rule changes, and financial losses during the application process, it would be prudent for anyone considering La Loma to seek detailed explanations and assurances regarding these aspects. It might also be beneficial to speak with current residents (if possible) to gain a broader understanding of the current living conditions and management practices within the park.
The lack of specific information about amenities, services, and the overall environment of La Loma in the provided reviews makes it even more critical for potential residents to conduct their own thorough assessment. Inquiring about facilities such as laundry, waste disposal, water and electricity hookups (if relevant for long-term RV stays), and any community areas would be necessary. Understanding the overall upkeep of the park and the condition of the lots would also be important factors in making an informed decision.
In conclusion, La Loma Mobile Home Park in Dallas, TX, presents a mixed image based on the limited available reviews. While a long-term resident speaks positively of the community and past management, a more recent experience highlights significant concerns about pricing and potentially unfair management practices. For local users seeking long-term living options, including potential arrangements for RVs, thorough investigation, direct communication with the management, and ideally, feedback from current residents are strongly recommended before considering La Loma Mobile Home Park. The serious financial loss reported by one potential resident serves as a significant red flag that should not be ignored.

Great place to raise your children ( I know because I did). Residents are kind and friendly and will wave as you drive by. The m team works hard to assure issues are solved in a very timely manner. I feel very blessed to have been apart of this awesome place for over 27 years.

May 17, 2021 · John KinneyManagement there is the highlight. Friendly ladies! Manager tries to keep everything working smooth. Keeps things quiet for the most part. Rents are avg. for the area. The place is well cared for.
