Lakeview RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Fort Worth, Texas area, Lakeview RV Park, located at 4793 E Loop 820 S, Fort Worth, TX 76119, USA, presents a long-term (month-to-month) RV parking option. It's important to consider all aspects of this property, as reflected in recent customer feedback, to determine if it meets your needs and expectations for RV living.
Based on customer reviews, the environment surrounding Lakeview RV Park has both potential positives and significant drawbacks. While the name suggests a "Lakeview," one reviewer noted that the adjacent lake is filled with trash and inaccessible without navigating through garbage and broken branches. This indicates that the lake, despite its presence, does not currently offer recreational opportunities or an aesthetically pleasing view. The park's location is described as being in an industrial area on the southeast side of Fort Worth, near Arlington, Mansfield, and Kennedale. This positioning results in noise from surrounding properties, specifically a rock processing facility and a manufactured home factory, as well as occasional freeway noise. While one reviewer mentioned that this noise might not be noticeable inside an RV with the air conditioning running, it is a factor to consider, particularly for those sensitive to noise or who spend time outdoors.
In terms of services, feedback regarding the staff and maintenance at Lakeview RV Park is largely negative. Multiple reviews describe the staff as "unprofessional and lazy," with one reviewer specifically naming the office manager, Tara, and detailing allegations of her being frequently absent, unresponsive to phone calls, engaging in gossip, and providing misinformation regarding move-out procedures. This reviewer also raised concerns about the difficulty in contacting supervisors and reported having to pursue legal action to recover a security deposit. Another reviewer corroborated issues with communication from the office staff, describing it as "slow, poor to no communication." Furthermore, concerns were raised about the upkeep of the grounds, with complaints about dirty and smelly conditions and instances of grass not being cut for extended periods, even up to a month.
The features of Lakeview RV Park, as described by one long-term resident, include decently sized lots due to its history as a former mobile home park, and the presence of some trees on the property. The rental fee includes water and sewer, and full hookups are available, but electricity is billed separately. A weekly trash pickup service with bins is also provided. The only mentioned amenity is laundry facilities, which one reviewer had not yet used, leading to a suggestion for more amenities such as picnic tables, grills, an office center with computer access, and recreational equipment checkout, especially given the proximity to the lake (despite its current condition). Internet access via T-mobile Home Internet and local TV antenna is reportedly functional at the park.
However, a more recent update from the same long-term resident paints a concerning picture of the community environment and the enforcement of park rules. This update details issues such as residents playing loud music at all hours, dogs being off-leash (including those described as charging at people), vehicles and motorcycles disregarding speed limits and quiet hours, and a lack of enforcement of the park's own rules. The reviewer also reported no way to report power outages, continued poor communication from office staff, ignored maintenance requests, and rent increases without any added amenities. The lack of access to the adjacent lake remains a significant drawback. Additionally, the noise from the neighboring manufactured home factory (including construction equipment) and the rock company (including rock dumping) is highlighted as a persistent issue, compounded by the park being in the flight path of a local helicopter manufacturing factory and experiencing noise from freeway traffic and ongoing construction in the area.
Considering the category "RV parks near me," potential local users should carefully weigh the reported negative experiences against the basic services offered at Lakeview RV Park. While the park offers long-term parking with full hookups, water, sewer, and trash service, the significant concerns raised about the management's professionalism and responsiveness, the poor maintenance of the grounds, the lack of usable amenities, and the disruptive behavior of some residents paint a concerning picture. The environmental issues, including the trash-filled and inaccessible lake and the noise from surrounding industrial and transportation sources, further detract from the park's appeal.
There is no promotional information available in the provided data. Instead, the recent customer reviews serve as critical feedback that potential residents should seriously consider. The issues raised, such as mismanagement, lack of safety and rule enforcement, poor communication, and a neglected environment, suggest that while Lakeview RV Park might offer a basic long-term parking solution in terms of hookups, the overall living experience may be significantly compromised. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, potentially seeking alternative options with more positive and consistent resident feedback regarding management, maintenance, safety, and amenities.
In conclusion, based on the available customer reviews, Lakeview RV Park appears to have significant challenges related to its management, maintenance, community environment, and the usability of its surroundings. While it offers long-term RV parking with essential utilities, the negative feedback regarding staff professionalism, lack of rule enforcement, noise pollution, and the state of the adjacent lake should give potential residents serious pause. Those looking for "RV parks near me" in Fort Worth are encouraged to explore other options that may offer a more positive and well-managed living experience.

Lakeview RV Park Reviews
This property is next to the ghetto, and it shows. It says Lakeview, and there is a view of the lake – –however, it is completely filled with trash, and you cannot swim in it or even access it without having to climb over piles of garbage and broken branches. The staff there are unprofessional and lazy. The grounds are dirty, smelly, and noisy. There were several times where our grass had not been cut for multiple weeks and even up to an entire month.Tara is the worst office manager I could imagine. She is never there, she doesn’t answer the phone, she talks crap about everybody who lives in the Rv Park behind their backs, she lied to me about move out date procedures and is trying to charge me a full months rent and NOT return my $150 deposit after I have already moved out. She is incredibly unprofessional. It is impossible to get a hold of her supervisors as well. Now I have to take this company to court for my security deposit since it has taken over 30 days to get to me, and legally I am now required 3 times the original amount. So if management is seeing this post, get ahold of me before the court gets ahold of you.
Mar 02, 2025 · Sammy YepezFirst of all, this is long-term (month-to-month) RV parking (instead of daily/weekly). It's in an industrial area of town (on the southeast side, near Arlington/Mansfield/Kennedale) so you do get some noise from the surrounding properties (a rock place and a manufactured home factory) as well as occasional freeway noise but it isn't horrible and if you're inside your RV with the A/C on anyway, you probably won't hear any of it. The property was a former mobile home park, so the lots are decently sized and there are some trees on site. I agree it can be hard to get ahold of someone locally (concerned if there is an emergency or something happens after hours) but they do reach back out. The only "amenity" is laundry facilities, which I haven't used yet so minus a star because more could be offered - the property butts up to a lake, there could be an area with picnic tables, grills, etc., there could be an onsite "office center" with a computer/printer access, a room to cool off, puzzle/game/video checkout (just some ideas/suggestions). Rental includes water/sewer and there are full hookups but electric is on you. T-mobile Home Internet works here, as well as antenna for local TV access. You even get a weekly trash pickup and bin!***UPDATE*** Having been here some time now (6 months), going to update review (1/17/2024):Residents who bass their music at all hours (including nights)? Got 'em!Residents who have dogs off leash (including some dogs who charge people)? Got 'em!Residents who completely ignore speed limits and quiet hours with their vehicles and motorcycles putting children, pets and residents in harm's way? Got' em!Property that doesn't enforce their own rules? Got 'em!No way to report power outages? Got' em!Slow, poor to no communication from office staff? Got 'em!Ignored maintenance requests? Got' em!Increased rent with no amenities? Got 'em!No access to the lake the property literally butts up to? Got' em!Busy manufactured home factory on one side of the park property with varying degrees of construction equipment, compessors, generators, drills and heavy duty equipment noises? Got 'em!Busy rock company on the other side of the park property with varying degrees of rock dumping and heavy duty equipment noises? Got 'em!In the test flight path of local helicopter manufacturing factory? Got' em!Local freeway noise from drivers who think it's a race track? Got 'em!Construction noises and traffic inconveniences at all hours (including nights)? Got' em! (and gonna have them through 2028!!!)
Jan 17, 2024 · Tina ShawI've visited several parks over the years living in West Texas. I have to say I was very impressed with the facilities, and even having a view of the lake. The size of the lot was pretty cool, since it kept me having the privacy I was looking for. The only noise I heard was pretty much the same as any neighborhood. So, I didn't feel like it was an issue. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the grounds, and the simple fact of having a laundry room is something I like so I don't have to go all over town. The property manager was also on point taking care of my needs! She didn't rush me when I was asking questions, like some places have, so I definitely give Tara high marks in the professionalism category. Plus, anyone who can joke around with me deserves a pat on the back. Kudos to Tara, I will be back the next time I'm in town.
Oct 14, 2024 · Dominique JohnsonCan I give less than 1 star? This place is over priced for no amenities, no care for the residents, no service, no peace and quiet. Builder of mobile homes on one side ( open working all hours), a gas well on the other with a rock store next to that. Right on the Highway (820), it does have a glimpse of Lake Arlington on the other side but that only adds to the mesquitoes. Managers will not lift a finger to help residents. I came home today to find a large tree directly behind my unit had fallen in the storm. Luckily only part of it ( a small part ) hit my trailor. the manager told me the tree guys would be out tomorrow. When asked what I should do since part of that tree was against my trailer likely to do damage, I was told He did not know, maybe I could go cut it down or call my insurance so my own tree people. Love this customer service. I will be moving as soon as I can find other park in reasonable distance to my work. I have had it with constant price increases, no customer service from the management, lack of property management and just getting a fond "screw you" for my efforts to make this a better place to live. Do NOT stay here if you value your property or your peace of mind.
Apr 13, 2022 · David LewisI've been a full-time resident of this park for over 2 years and every year it just gets worse. All highway construction noise, all day and night. Frequently turning off the park's water supply, no amenities of any kind, including showers and the rent keeps going up every year. Management isn't helpful at all, so I can't recommend this park at all.
