Biggest part of the problem here is the managers.. the whether it was the former managers. Who could not care less about tenants..juat their own self serving attitude of, " we can do what we like , when, how, and to whom" . The "enemy" is us tenants in their view. Now we have new managers.. thanks to nepotism.. new one's are related to old managers.. so nothing will change.. Larissa who isn't here , avoids messages, texts and complaints. Especially if it's a gripe about the former managers. She and he her husband Allen, vindictive, vengeful, spiteful, and have no respect for the people paying their salary. The old managers don't work here, but are certainly entitled to all the bennies they want and far too often still involved because the new.. say it's ok. Even to the point of running a commercial business out of the park. They even keep their business vehicles stored here in the park in the old managers mother's lot. Total eye sore.If a gripe is made, you're looked at with distain, a trouble maker, boat rocker, whatever you may wish to call it.Pitiful. Larissa and Allen both come off as a bit, sly, shady, and deceptive when asked a straight forward question.. and then ignore ignore ignore. I asked once to speak to the regional manager.. she said she had never been up here because she lives in Oregon, and said she wouldn't be making a drive to see the park in her area.. gods sake... She shouldn't be a regional anything. The managers here need to learn some life lessons about accountability and being held responsible for words, actions, behaviors. If they do not like criticism, they then should not put themselves in that position, by either not taking the job or just doing better with zero retaliation attitude. And if they are they need to accept and take the gripes and complaints. Renters have rights here in Washington. Yeah sure, there is number to call in the website.. it goes unanswered forever, it also just goes to the same people the complaints are about. Also, they're called resident managers, meaning they're supposed to live on the property. The handling of the road work was a disaster, not finished as was promised. Way too late spreading soil to repair damages done to all tenants.. and then just left for months. But, we still had to pay more. It was really special watching the rain this week, washing all of the minimal top soil but leaving gravel in the yards down all the streets and creating a 4ft deep clogged street drains and watching the wake wash up on units.. job well done. Soil should have been done when asphalt was done.. well that still isn't finished. But grass would have had time to grow and and keep all the dirt out of the drains and street. Nothing like watching rent increases flowing down the road into the gutter, and then increasing the rent again for 2024. Pitiful. Also, if the asphalt had been done when promised to keep in the still bare soil or in this instance...cash. it was also a waste to rent the mini loader used to lay it all down, man power hours and the help they hired, Nice job . Others have been told, that the owners won't do anything for you if you complain. Nothing like threats.. stay inside, be quiet, getting dirty looks from the formers and the new. They won't even tell you who owns this place.. just some mailbox ect in Sherman Oaks, Cali. Some don't understand, we all here own our homes and lease the plot.. we still have rights under the RCW'S here in Washington state. Maybe that regional manager should come up and take a bit more of a sense of urgency in her domain. - rocinante999

Collective Communities Flying Carpet MHC Introduce

Collective Communities Flying Carpet MHC, located at 6748 Fir Tree Rd SE Trlr 1, Olympia, WA 98513, USA, presents itself as a potentially quiet residential park. For those seeking information about "RV parks near me" or considering a mobile home park in the Olympia area, it's important to consider all available feedback to form a comprehensive understanding. The park can be contacted at (360) 491-7737 or +1 360-491-7737.

One recurring theme in the available resident reviews is the park's quiet environment. One reviewer explicitly stated, "The park is quiet which is great." This could be a significant advantage for individuals and families seeking a peaceful living environment or a tranquil stop for RV travelers. A quiet setting can contribute to a higher quality of life and a greater sense of community for long-term residents and a more relaxing experience for short-term visitors.

However, the majority of the detailed feedback focuses on significant concerns regarding the park's management. Multiple points of criticism are raised, primarily revolving around the responsiveness and attitude of both former and current managers. One lengthy review details a history of alleged neglect and a perceived adversarial relationship between the management and the tenants. According to this review, former managers exhibited a "we can do what we like, when, how, and to whom" attitude, fostering a sense of the tenants being viewed as the "enemy."

The review further alleges that the transition to new management, purportedly due to nepotism, has not resulted in any improvement. The current manager, identified as Larissa, is accused of avoiding communication, including messages, texts, and complaints, particularly those related to the actions of the former managers. Both Larissa and her husband, Allen, are described negatively, with accusations of being "vindictive, vengeful, spiteful, and have no respect for the people paying their salary."

A particularly concerning aspect raised in the review is the alleged continued involvement of the former managers in park affairs, supposedly with the approval of the new management. This reportedly extends to them benefiting from park amenities and even operating a commercial business out of the park, including storing business vehicles on a resident's lot, which is described as an "eye sore." Such situations can lead to feelings of unfairness and a decline in the overall aesthetic appeal of the community.

The reviewer also expresses frustration with the perceived dismissive attitude towards tenant grievances. Raising concerns reportedly leads to being labeled a "trouble maker" and facing "distain." Furthermore, direct interactions with the current management are described as evasive and untrustworthy, with accusations of being "sly, shady, and deceptive" and subsequently ignoring further communication. The alleged lack of access to a regional manager, who reportedly resides out of state and refuses to visit, further exacerbates the sense of unresolved issues and lack of accountability.

Several specific examples of mismanagement are provided, including the handling of roadwork within the park. The project is described as a "disaster," allegedly not completed as promised and significantly delayed in terms of necessary follow-up work, such as spreading topsoil to repair damages. Despite these issues and the resulting inconvenience to residents, including rain washing gravel into yards and clogging drains, rent increases were reportedly implemented. The reviewer expresses a sense of financial injustice, stating, "Nothing like watching rent increases flowing down the road into the gutter, and then increasing the rent again for 2024. Pitiful."

The review also touches upon the rights of mobile homeowners in Washington State (under RCW's), emphasizing that while residents own their homes, they lease the land and are still entitled to certain protections. The alleged lack of responsiveness to complaints and the difficulty in contacting higher management are seen as potential infringements on these rights. The reviewer mentions a phone number on the website for complaints that reportedly goes unanswered or redirects to the very individuals being complained about.

Adding to the concerns about management, the reviewer points out that the "resident managers" do not appear to live on the property, contradicting the implication of their title. This could contribute to a lack of immediate availability and responsiveness to resident needs and concerns.

In summary, while Collective Communities Flying Carpet MHC may offer a quiet living environment, the overwhelming majority of the detailed feedback available online raises significant concerns regarding the park's management practices, communication, and responsiveness to tenant issues. Potential residents, whether considering long-term mobile home living or looking for "RV parks near me" for an extended stay, should carefully weigh these reported issues against the desire for a quiet location.

Given the serious nature of the allegations in the resident reviews, prospective individuals should consider the following before making any decisions regarding Collective Communities Flying Carpet MHC:

  • Attempt to contact the park management at (360) 491-7737 or +1 360-491-7737 to inquire about current rates, availability, and park policies.
  • Specifically ask about the management structure, including who to contact with concerns and the process for addressing tenant issues.
  • If possible, request to speak with current residents of the park to gain firsthand perspectives on their experiences with the management and the overall community.
  • Inquire about the status of any ongoing maintenance or infrastructure projects, such as the roadwork mentioned in the review.
  • For RVers, specifically ask about the amenities available, such as hookups, laundry facilities, and the park's policies regarding short-term stays.
  • For those considering long-term residency, carefully review the lease agreement and understand the procedures for addressing grievances and ensuring their rights as tenants under Washington State law.
  • Consider visiting the park in person to assess the environment and the overall condition of the community. While there, observe interactions with any visible management and try to speak informally with residents if the opportunity arises.

Due to the substantial negative feedback concerning the management and their handling of tenant issues, prospective residents and RVers should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before committing to Collective Communities Flying Carpet MHC. While the quiet environment may be appealing, the reported challenges with management could significantly impact the overall living experience.
