Redwood Estates Introduce
Redwood Estates is a mobile home park located at 5801 Redwood Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76119, USA. For local users searching for ‘RV parks near me’ that offer a residential setting, Redwood Estates is one of the options in the Fort Worth area. The park can be contacted at phone number (817) 478-5511 or mobile phone +1 817-478-5511.
However, it is essential for prospective residents to carefully consider the overwhelmingly negative feedback expressed in recent customer reviews regarding Redwood Estates. These reviews raise serious concerns about the management, maintenance of the property, available amenities, and overall living environment.
One reviewer begins by stating, "Terrible management unkept roads want to be HOA and here’s just one of the roads," immediately highlighting issues with both the management and the physical infrastructure of the park. The mention of "unkept roads" suggests poor maintenance and potentially unsafe driving conditions due to potholes or other damage, as further detailed in subsequent reviews.
A more comprehensive review from 2024 outlines a multitude of significant problems. The resident reports that "Our streets are full of potholes," corroborating the earlier concern about road conditions. This not only affects the driving experience but can also lead to damage to residents' vehicles.
The same review also mentions a serious safety concern: "a week ago someone drove through the community shooting a automatic weapon from their sunroof." This alarming incident points to potential security vulnerabilities within the park and a lack of control over who enters the community and their behavior. The fact that this occurred suggests a significant lapse in ensuring resident safety and security.
Further infrastructure issues are highlighted with the statement, "our mailboxes are decades old and falling apart." Dilapidated mailboxes can lead to security risks for residents' mail and reflect a general lack of investment in maintaining even basic community infrastructure.
The financial aspect of living at Redwood Estates is also criticized. The reviewer notes that "our lot rent is raised annually with nothing to show for it except for a newly remodeled clubhouse and office, which no one gets to enjoy." This implies that while residents are facing increasing costs, the improvements being made are not benefiting the community as a whole or are inaccessible to them. This raises questions about the value proposition of living in Redwood Estates.
The review continues to detail the poor state of the promised amenities. "Our pool room can't be used because the sticks are broken, there's no longer a weight room, our pool was closed more than it was open last summer..." This indicates a significant failure to provide and maintain functional recreational facilities for the residents. The unusable pool room, the absence of a weight room, and the frequently closed pool directly impact the quality of life and the value residents receive for their rent.
Adding to the security concerns, the reviewer states that "random people get to walk through our community and take what they want because we have no security." This reinforces the earlier point about a lack of security measures, leaving residents vulnerable to theft and other potential issues. The absence of a park manager living on-site ("The park manager doesnt even live in the park. I wonder why that is...") may contribute to the perceived lack of oversight and security.
An earlier review from December 2022 highlights a distressing issue with feral cats in the community. The reviewer recounts a personal experience of having to euthanize a severely injured kitten due to the management's alleged inaction regarding the multiplying feral cat population. This paints a picture of neglect towards animal welfare within the park and a lack of responsibility from the management in addressing the issue. The reviewer's emotional account underscores the severity of the problem and its impact on residents.
An update from November 2023 further emphasizes the lack of responsiveness from the management and corporate. The reviewer states, "I've sent many emails to corporate and got a reply that 'staff would reach out to me within 48 hours.' NEVER HAPPENED!" This indicates a pattern of poor communication and a failure to address residents' concerns even at the corporate level.
The feral cat problem is reiterated, with the reviewer mentioning that "People are poisoning them and nobody cares to do anything about it." This highlights a dangerous and inhumane situation arising from the unaddressed feral cat issue. The reviewer also points out a potential solution ("There is a free program at TCAP to stop the problem where you can take them and have them spayed or neutered and them release them back") that the management has apparently failed to implement.
Finally, the reviewer summarizes the overall experience by stating, "They want you to have a 5 star experience but give barely 1 star service & support but happy to take your money every month." This encapsulates the core complaint: a disconnect between the expectations set by the management (implied by the desire for a "5 star experience") and the reality of the service and support provided, while consistently increasing the cost of living.
Based on these detailed and consistently negative customer reviews, local users searching for ‘RV parks near me’ in Fort Worth, TX, should be extremely wary of Redwood Estates. The feedback indicates significant and unaddressed problems related to:
- Management: Described as "terrible" and unresponsive, with concerns raised about their commitment to residents' well-being and community maintenance.
- Property Maintenance: Roads are reportedly full of potholes and unkept, mailboxes are falling apart, and there is a general sense of neglect.
- Amenities: Promised facilities like the pool room and weight room are unusable or no longer exist, and the pool was frequently closed.
- Security: Lack of security measures has led to alarming incidents like someone shooting an automatic weapon in the community, and concerns about random people entering the park.
- Animal Welfare: A significant feral cat problem that management has allegedly failed to address, leading to distressing situations for residents and animals.
- Communication and Responsiveness: Failure of management and corporate to respond to residents' concerns.
- Value for Money: Rent increases that are not justified by improvements in the community or amenities available to residents.
Given the severity and consistency of these complaints, prospective residents are strongly advised to avoid Redwood Estates unless they can obtain compelling evidence of significant improvements in management and property conditions. Visiting the property would be essential, and speaking directly with current residents (if possible) would provide invaluable insights into the current living situation.
There is no promotional information available for Redwood Estates in the provided data. The focus of the recent feedback is entirely on the negative aspects of living in the community.
In conclusion, the information available online paints a very unfavorable picture of Redwood Estates in Fort Worth, TX. Local users searching for ‘RV parks near me’ should proceed with extreme caution and be fully aware of the serious concerns raised by current and former residents regarding the management, maintenance, amenities, security, and overall living environment of this mobile home park. Thorough investigation and consideration of these issues are strongly recommended before making any decisions about residing at Redwood Estates.

Terrible management unkept roads want to be HOA and here’s just one of the roads
Oct 18, 2024 · aerik parker*******NEW COMPLAINT*******2024****Our streets are full of potholes, a week ago someone drove through the community shooting a automatic weapon from their sunroof, our mailboxes are decades old and falling apart, our lot rent is raised annually with nothing to show for it except for a newly remodeled clubhouse and office, which no one gets to enjoy. Our pool room can't be used because the sticks are broken, there's no longer a weight room, our pool was closed more than it was open last summer, and random people get to walk through our community and take what they want because we have no security. The park manager doesnt even live in the park. I wonder why that is...*** Update Dec 2022***I had to take a kitten to the Humane society to be euthanized today because management here can't or wont be responsible for the feral cats that just keep multiplying. I want you to get a visual of what I had to see today. This kitten wasn't more that a couple of months old. It was laying on the cold ground unable to move crying out for help. I picked it up and brought it to my house to assess it's injuries. It was unable to move either front or back legs but was alert and awake. It had what appeared to be bite marks on one of it's back legs. I'm guessing a dog or coyote got a hold of it and shook it until it's spinal cord snapped. I held it and loved on it which being a feral is probably the first sign of affection it has gotten. I ended up taking it to the Humane Society where it's life was ended in a laboratory by someone who was just doing their job. Tonight I will go to bed with the last thing I see before I go to sleep is the sweet eyes of that innocent cat who never had a chance. Like so many others. This could have been avoided if management would take responsibility.Nov 3,2023I've sent many emails to corporate and got a reply that " staff would reach out to me within 48 hours." NEVER HAPPENED!Big feral cat problem. People are poisioning them and nobody cares to do anything about it. There is a free program at TCAP to stop the problem where you can take them and have them spayed or neutered and them release them back. Right now there are at least 3 sets of kittens of various ages in my area. They want you to have a 5 star experience but give barely 1 star service & support but happy to take your money every month.
Dec 07, 2024 · Hilbilly GirlRedwood Estates mobile home park used to be awesome, however in the last 5 years they've doubled the number of homes and raised the rent 10% each year for the last several years.Redwood Estates is perhaps 85 years old, but the new owners are only interested in sucking all the money out of it and put it up for sale again. We don't get any new benefits. Only lose what we have. Trash service use to be included. Now it's another $30 expense. The park used to be maintained, but now it's just growing old.
Nov 03, 2024 · GREGG BLAIRWhen I moved here over 14 years ago there were beautiful mature trees and people that had been here for many many years. I was told to call this a community not a trailer park. I've seen Management come and go. When Inspire bought our community those beautiful mature trees were cut down and more and more mobile homes were brought in. Most of the lots got smaller and smaller. Lot rent made a higher jump then ever before. It's a business now not a community. It's very sad and disappointing to me and I just wanted to make sure Inspire saw it from a residents point of view. However...If I could have given a separate review for our Maintenance Crew this is where the 5 stars would have gone! I just wanted to make sure Inspire saw this too. Kim and Frank are amazing! I honestly don't think I've ever seen them not working. They care about the Residents and our safety. They are the A Team at Redwood Estates and I'm grateful for them! Thank you Kim and Frank for ALL you do!!
Dec 26, 2022 · Jayna GauseIf this development seems like a place you might consider moving to DO NOT :From what I have experienced through my time lived here, there is an ever growing population of the what seem to be predominantly stray cats, constantly in yards, in the streets and under cars, they constantly go to the bathroom in the yards and with many small children in the immediate are it seems to be a huge sanitation and health safety issue!Their communication at the office is beyond horrendous, getting a return call or an email is almost impossible, this shows a huge lack of concern for the residents and a major lack of job efficacy. The managerial staff is dishonest and will lie about service orders getting sent out when the person never comes to check the issue. Then they tell you it's resolved. The dishonesty is by large and away my biggest issue with having residence here.If I could rate 0 stars I would, I hope people see this review before seeking to move here. Stay FAR away.Update 10/3/23We head the main water line to the house break earlier today, cutting off all water flow to the house due to the complexes and property managers lack of follow through and care for maintenance. Today the pipe inflow connection from the meter broke due to the park’s negligence in preventative maintenance and doing the most they can to pass the costs of their shortcoming to the residents, so they can make the improvements the park cannot be bothered to do on the back of their residents. Due to this short coming and lack of property care we have had to pay maintenance costs for in the amount of 1200$ to fix the break due to again the parks negligence and lack of maintenance on the piping they have in the ground from resident to next they clearly care less and less. I will be visiting the main office tomorrow with receipts for reimbursement in full. Will update my google review to match.
