The park can be contacted via phone at (772) 567-4358 or mobile phone at +1 772-567-4358 for inquiries regarding availability, lot sizes, and specific services offered. While direct information regarding the environment and specific features from the provided details is limited, mobile home parks generally offer a different experience compared to short-term RV resorts. They often foster a stronger sense of community due to longer tenancies and may include facilities geared towards more permanent living.
Based on one of the provided customer reviews, a resident who lived in Lakewood Village for eight years expressed concerns about a perceived decline in the safety and overall quality of life within the park as of February 2025. The review specifically mentions alleged criminal activity, including shots fired, and a feeling of insecurity among long-term residents. The reviewer also criticizes the management's response to these issues, suggesting a need for more proactive measures to ensure resident safety. This feedback highlights a significant concern regarding the current living environment within Lakewood Village.
Conversely, another review offers a positive perspective, describing an experience at Lakewood Village as "organized, clean, neat, nice, courteous" during what appears to be a polling event. This suggests that certain aspects of the property, such as organization and cleanliness, may be well-maintained, and interactions with staff or individuals present during the event were positive. However, it's important to note that this positive feedback pertains to a specific event and may not reflect the overall long-term living experience within the park.
Considering the mixed feedback, potential residents are advised to conduct thorough due diligence. This could include contacting the management directly to inquire about current safety measures, community guidelines, and any recent changes in management or policies. Visiting the property in person to assess the environment and speak with current residents (if possible) could also provide valuable insights into the day-to-day living experience at Lakewood Village.
When exploring "RV parks near me," it's crucial to define your specific needs and priorities. If you are seeking a long-term community-oriented setting in Vero Beach, Lakewood Village is an option to consider. However, the recent negative review regarding safety is a significant factor that warrants careful investigation. Potential residents should weigh this concern against any perceived benefits or positive aspects of the park.
Typically, mobile home parks offer amenities such as paved roads, individual utility hookups (water, sewer, electricity), and possibly communal facilities like laundry rooms, clubhouses, or recreational areas. However, the provided information does not explicitly detail the specific amenities available at Lakewood Village. Interested parties should inquire about these details directly from the management to understand the full scope of services offered.
Promotional information is not available in the provided text. Therefore, it is recommended to contact Lakewood Village directly to inquire about any current promotions, lot rental rates, or special offers that may be available. Understanding the financial aspects, including lot fees, utility costs, and any additional charges, is essential when considering a long-term stay in a mobile home park.
In conclusion, Lakewood Village in Vero Beach, FL, presents itself as a mobile home park within the "RV parks near me" category. While one review highlights significant concerns about safety and management response, another offers positive feedback regarding organization and courtesy during a specific event. Potential residents should carefully consider these contrasting perspectives and conduct their own thorough investigation to determine if Lakewood Village meets their individual needs and expectations for long-term living. Direct communication with the management is crucial to obtain accurate and up-to-date information regarding the environment, services, features, and any applicable promotional offers.

Lakewood Village Reviews
Lived here for 8 years and seen a steady decline as of tonight 2-28 2025 we have so many felons living in this park actually tonight shots were fired against a neighbor that is a know problem here in this park actually tonight. Guns drawn by several police officers to apprehend a know problem in this park . Roots Management and the manager needs to take a closer look that what’s going on in this park . I personally own my own home here as do many of us and we all feel it’s not a safe place to live anymore . ROOTS PLEASE LOOK INTO WHATS GOING ON IN YOUR PARK AND YOUR MANAGEMENT. The only answer we get from Management is call the police .. It’s not our responsibility to keep our neighbor safe it should be the manager they do a background check but still allow fellas to live here ! Why ???? Several of our long term residents are considering escrowing our rent pmts till this problem is addressed! ROOTS DO BETTER OUR PARK IS GOING TO HELL !

Nov 07, 2024 · Charleen KrasnayLet me tell you something about these people. They do an excellent job of running a park. I actually don't live in the park but my acreage abuts the park so I see a lot that goes on there. That should be a testament in itself. An outsider (neighbor no doubt), impressed with it's mobile home park next door? I am. I've met with the managers there on different occasions and they are "on the ball". It's an all age park but their screening process is so thorough, I don't know if I would even qualify to live there (LOL)! The point is that setting aside the unfortunate stigmas that adhere to mobile home parks, you've got a pretty good one here. Their fees seem pretty reasonable for all the amenities and services you get for them. Take a look, you might be pleasantly surprised!
Sep 13, 2018 · Chris ClarkHaving lived here for 12 years, this place continues to go downhill. They promise to do things like dig a ditch to keep the water from going underneath our homes but to no avail. Now in last 3 years rent has gone up from 515.00 per month to know 700.00. How nice. Still haven't fixed the drainage problem. Just dig a ditch, please. 🤪
May 10, 2024 · Karen SandsLakewood Village is a wonderful community with friendly neighbors, spacious lots, and kind and responsive staff. The rates are affordable. The location is great; it is easy to go shopping or access the freeway. The maintenance staff is always working on projects to improve and or maintain the utilities and landscaping. The facilities are also terrific; we loved the swimming pool, and the new laundry room is "top shelf" with an app-based payment system. The app will indicate how many machines are available before you haul your dirty clothes to wash. The app also notifies you when your machines have finished running their cycles - fantastic and fair priced! My wife and I lived there for six months, and we plan to return again in a few months. We highly recommend Lakewood village!
