Lewisville Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local individuals and those searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home living options in the Lewisville, Texas area, Lewisville Mobile Home Park, located at 1156 State Hwy 121, Lewisville, TX 75057, USA, presents a situation marked by significant changes in ownership and management, leading to notable shifts in the experiences of its residents. The available customer reviews offer contrasting perspectives, with older feedback praising the long-term original owners while more recent comments express considerable dissatisfaction with the new management and changes implemented. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on these reviews, highlighting both past perceptions and current concerns for potential residents considering this community.
Past Environment and Ownership (According to Reviews): Older feedback regarding Lewisville Mobile Home Park under the ownership of Herman and Inga suggests a community where the long-term owners had a significant presence. Herman was described as "very serious about the right stuff" and willing to listen to residents' concerns, implying a level of accountability and responsiveness. Inga's portrayal in one review is more complex, described as "nosey" and potentially prone to taking actions, including eviction, based on personal dislikes, even when rent was being paid. This review also expresses frustration about living in an RV being negatively perceived on a rental history, suggesting that the park may have accommodated RVs at some point under the previous ownership.
Recent Changes and New Ownership: A more recent review indicates a significant shift due to new ownership, with Inga no longer being involved. This change in management appears to have brought about several notable alterations that have negatively impacted at least one long-term resident's experience. These changes include a "jacked" increase in rent and the introduction of charges for water, which were presumably previously included in the lot rent. The reviewer also expresses a strong sense of dissatisfaction with the new management, describing them as "rude" and lamenting the loss of the positive community feeling that once existed, stating, "The feeling of coming home is gone. I used to love this place now I can't wait to leave!"
Loss of Amenities (According to Reviews): Perhaps one of the most concerning aspects highlighted in the recent review is the statement "NO AMENITIES!!" This stark declaration suggests a significant reduction or complete absence of features that typically contribute to the quality of life in a mobile home or RV community. The lack of amenities can be a major drawback for potential residents, especially those who expect certain conveniences such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or community spaces. The absence of amenities, coupled with increased costs, could significantly reduce the value proposition of living at Lewisville Mobile Home Park under the new ownership.
Impact on Community and Atmosphere: The sentiment expressed in the recent review indicates a significant decline in the sense of community within Lewisville Mobile Home Park. The feeling of "coming home" is reported as being lost, suggesting a less welcoming and potentially more strained atmosphere under the new management. This deterioration of the community spirit can be a major concern for individuals seeking a supportive and positive living environment within an "RV park near me" or a mobile home community.
Financial Implications for Residents: The reported rent increase and the introduction of water charges directly impact the financial burden on residents. These increased costs, especially when coupled with a perceived decline in service and the absence of amenities, can make the park less affordable and less appealing. Potential residents will need to factor these additional expenses into their budget when considering Lewisville Mobile Home Park.
Concerns Regarding Management Style: The description of the new management as "rude" is a serious concern. A respectful and responsive management team is crucial for a positive living experience in any community. Negative interactions with management can lead to stress and dissatisfaction among residents. This feedback suggests that potential residents should be prepared for a potentially less than ideal management style if they choose to live at Lewisville Mobile Home Park under the current ownership.
Implications for RV Dwellers: The older review's mention of an issue with living in an RV affecting rental history is somewhat ambiguous but suggests that the park may have historically accommodated RVs. However, the recent review does not specifically address the experience of RV dwellers under the new ownership. Given the reported rent increases, new charges, and lack of amenities, it is reasonable to infer that RVers considering Lewisville Mobile Home Park as one of their "RV parks near me" should also inquire about the specific terms and conditions for RV stays and whether the reported negative changes apply to them as well.
Lack of Positive Recent Feedback: It is important to note that the more recent feedback available is overwhelmingly negative, focusing on the detrimental changes brought about by the new ownership. The absence of any positive recent reviews raises concerns about the current state of the park and the overall living experience for its residents.
Promotional Information (Absent and Negative Implications): The provided reviews do not contain any positive promotional information. Instead, the recent feedback actively discourages potential residents due to the increased costs, lack of amenities, and perceived rudeness of the new management. This negative sentiment acts as a strong deterrent for anyone considering Lewisville Mobile Home Park based on online reviews.
Target Audience (Potentially Limited): Based on the current negative feedback, Lewisville Mobile Home Park may primarily appeal to individuals who have limited housing options or who are unaware of the recent changes and resident dissatisfaction. Those who prioritize affordability above all else and are willing to tolerate a lack of amenities and potentially negative management interactions might still consider it. However, for those seeking a positive community atmosphere, reasonable costs relative to services, and respectful management, the recent reviews suggest that Lewisville Mobile Home Park may not be a suitable choice at this time.
Importance of Thorough Inquiry: Given the significant discrepancies between past and present perceptions of Lewisville Mobile Home Park, it is crucial for any potential resident to conduct thorough due diligence. This should include contacting the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (972) 376-0875 or mobile phone +1 972-376-0875 to inquire about current rates, fees (including water charges), available amenities, management policies, and the overall atmosphere of the community. Visiting the park in person to assess the conditions and potentially speak with current residents (if possible) would also be highly advisable before making any decisions.
In conclusion, Lewisville Mobile Home Park, located in Lewisville, Texas, appears to be undergoing a challenging transition under new ownership. While past reviews under previous management offered a mixed perspective, more recent feedback expresses significant concerns regarding rent increases, new water charges, a lack of amenities, and rude management, leading to a decline in the sense of community. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home living in the area, it is essential to be aware of these recent negative experiences and to conduct thorough personal research before considering Lewisville Mobile Home Park as a potential residence. The stark contrast between past and present reviews serves as a strong cautionary note for prospective residents.

It's under new owner ship Inga is not here anymore they have jacked the rent up and started charging for water they are rude NO AMENITIES!! The feeling of coming home is gone. I used to love this place now I can't wait to leave!
Jun 14, 2024 · KanoeLani PerryI absolutely thought I found my permanent safe happy living place here. The owners of property for over 40 years are Herman & Inga. Herman is very serious about the right stuff and will listen to any concerns. Inga is nosey and if she don't like something, she will see to it that you will be evicted and ruin your rental history for years to come. Even when you are paying rent SINCE WHEN DOES LIVING IN AN RV BECOME AN ISSUE IN RENTAL HISTORY RIDCULOUS.
