Northwood Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For local users in the Lewisville, Texas, area exploring options for "RV parks near me" or considering residency within a manufactured home community, Northwood Manufactured Home Community, located at 402 E State Hwy 121, Lewisville, TX 75057, USA, presents a mixed picture based on available resident reviews. While one review highlights positive aspects of customer service, another expresses significant concerns regarding management responsiveness and the overall condition of the community.
One long-term resident offers a balanced perspective, stating, "Community wise its a decent place to live. We have been here for many years and it has its ups and downs but its still pleasant place." This suggests that despite some challenges, there are aspects of the community that long-term residents find satisfactory. The mention of "ups and downs" indicates that the living experience may not be consistently positive, but overall, it has remained a "pleasant place" for this particular resident over several years.
This same reviewer specifically praises the customer service provided by an individual named Tyler, noting, "Customer Service wise Tyler is the best!!! He definitely goes above and beyond." This positive feedback suggests that at least one member of the management or staff is dedicated to providing excellent service and is helpful to residents. Such positive interactions can significantly impact a resident's overall satisfaction, even if other aspects of the community have room for improvement.
However, another, more critical review paints a significantly different picture of Northwood Manufactured Home Community. This reviewer expresses strong dissatisfaction, stating, "There is several things wrong with this community. All this company wants is your money and not to hear anything from you its just miserable to live here." This starkly contrasts with the other review and raises serious concerns about the management's responsiveness to resident issues and their overall priorities.
The critical review further elaborates on specific problems, including alleged rent increases without corresponding improvements to the community's appearance: "They jack up the rent to 900 or more but the community still looks like crap." This suggests a potential disconnect between the cost of living in the community and the perceived quality of the environment and amenities.
A particularly concerning issue raised is related to the structural integrity of the homes: "Our house is shifting from the ground sinking every time it rains and they(the office) say they cant do anything about it." If this claim is accurate, it indicates a significant maintenance problem that is not being adequately addressed by the management, potentially impacting the safety and stability of residents' homes.
Given these serious allegations, the critical reviewer strongly advises potential residents to exercise extreme caution: "Well if you want to live here than brush up on you texas tenents laws about mobile homes and read everything on the lease before you sign anything. Just warning you now the office might seem nice til you have a lease with these people or company. Its a devil in disguise dont move here." This forceful warning suggests a negative experience with the management and the terms of the lease agreement.
The reviewer also claims that many residents are trying to leave the community due to dissatisfaction: "People here are trying to get out as fast as possible if its possible cuz from what i heard you cant terminate your lease and move the mobile home unless your mortgage is paid off on the mobile house that you have. So your kinda stuck there if thats the case." This raises concerns about the flexibility of the lease terms and the potential difficulties residents might face if they wish to relocate.
Finally, the critical reviewer offers a direct and emphatic piece of advice: "Dont even look at this place." This strong condemnation underscores the severity of their negative experience and their belief that prospective residents should avoid Northwood Manufactured Home Community altogether.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," local users might be interested in whether Northwood Manufactured Home Community accommodates RVs for long-term stays. However, given the serious concerns raised in one of the reviews regarding the management and community upkeep, potential long-term RV residents should exercise significant caution and thoroughly investigate the current conditions and policies before considering this community.
The limited information available does not specify whether Northwood Manufactured Home Community has dedicated RV facilities or the extent to which RVs are accommodated. If long-term RVs are permitted, essential utility hookups such as water, electricity, and sewer connections would likely be necessary at each site. Given the allegations of neglect in the community's appearance, the quality and reliability of these hookups might also be a concern.
Regarding the environment of Northwood Manufactured Home Community, the reviews offer conflicting perspectives. One long-term resident finds it "decent" and "pleasant," while the other describes the community as looking like "crap," despite alleged rent increases. This discrepancy suggests that the environment may be a point of contention and that prospective residents should personally assess the current conditions.
In terms of services and features, the reviews primarily focus on management and the overall community environment. There is no mention of typical RV park amenities such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi access, recreational areas, or waste disposal stations. As a manufactured home community, the infrastructure might be geared towards permanent or semi-permanent dwellings rather than transient RV stays.
Promotional information is not included in the provided data. Local users interested in learning about residency options for manufactured homes or potential long-term RV spots, including availability and rates, should contact Northwood Manufactured Home Community directly at (972) 436-2597 or +1 972-436-2597. However, they should be prepared to ask detailed questions about the current condition of the community, the responsiveness of the management to maintenance issues, and the terms of the lease agreement, especially regarding termination and relocation.
In conclusion, for those in the Lewisville, Texas, area searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a manufactured home community, Northwood Manufactured Home Community presents a complex picture. While one long-term resident finds it a "decent" and "pleasant" place with excellent customer service from at least one staff member, another review raises serious concerns about management, community upkeep, and lease terms. Prospective residents are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution, thoroughly investigate the current conditions, carefully review the lease agreement, and perhaps speak with current residents before making any decisions about residing at Northwood Manufactured Home Community.

Dec 23, 2024 · Omar LópezDo NOT move here!! They are hard to work with since management changed. Office staff are not the nice and most of the time will find things to put a fine charge to your bill. Previous manager is the WORST and now she works for directly for the corporate office(even worse). If you can find another place to live, DO it!! Living here is a nightmare!
May 24, 2024 · mary diazBeware of the property managers whom are very unprofessional when addressing any concerns to your property. Charging outrageous fees and rent. Tow truck companies will pass drivers that are clearly violating parking rules.
