Longhorn Co Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" or a welcoming mobile home park in the Justin, Texas area? Look no further than Longhorn Co, located at 5772 Tim Donald Rd, Justin, TX 76247, USA. Offering a blend of mobile home lots and potentially accommodating RVs for longer stays, Longhorn Co presents itself as a community focused on providing a residential environment for its residents. You can reach them at (940) 648-5263 or +1 940-648-5263 for inquiries about availability and specific offerings.
Based on available information, Longhorn Co appears to be undergoing a positive transformation. A recent review from a long-term resident of approximately ten years indicates a significant improvement in the community environment over the past three to four years. This resident notes a past period characterized by disturbances such as "drinking and partying and fighting in the streets, gunshots and things like that." However, they highlight a considerable calming down of the community, with the current atmosphere described as "really peaceful." The reviewer mentions that residents on their street are generally working individuals who "pretty much keep to themselves," contributing to the current sense of tranquility and their overall positive experience of living at Longhorn Co.
It's important to consider all available feedback to gain a comprehensive understanding. Another review from approximately four years ago presents a contrasting perspective. This former resident strongly advises against renting at Longhorn Co, citing severe issues with bed bugs allegedly present within the walls of their dwelling. They reported struggling for a year to eradicate the infestation. Additionally, this reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with the management, describing the office as a "joke" and the staff as "rude." They also reported difficulties in obtaining necessary repairs.
Considering these contrasting viewpoints, prospective residents are encouraged to conduct thorough due diligence. The positive feedback regarding the recent peacefulness of the community suggests that management or community dynamics may have shifted in recent years. However, the serious allegations from a former resident regarding pest issues and poor management should not be disregarded. It would be prudent to inquire specifically about pest control measures and current management practices when contacting Longhorn Co.
As a mobile home park, the primary offering at Longhorn Co is likely the leasing of lots for privately owned mobile homes. Residents typically pay a monthly lot rent that covers basic amenities. While the category "RV parks near me" suggests the potential for RV accommodations, the extent and nature of these services (e.g., long-term RV sites, hookups, amenities specifically for RVers) would need to be confirmed directly with the management. It's possible that Longhorn Co caters more towards long-term residential use, with RVs being accepted on a case-by-case basis or for extended stays rather than short-term travelers.
To provide a more detailed picture of what Longhorn Co offers, it would be beneficial to gather information on the following aspects:
- Lot Sizes and Availability: Inquire about the sizes of the mobile home lots and whether there are currently any vacant lots available for lease. For RVs, ask about the availability of sites suitable for recreational vehicles and any size restrictions.
- Utilities and Services: Understand which utilities are included in the lot rent (e.g., water, sewer, trash) and which are the responsibility of the resident (e.g., electricity, gas). Inquire about any additional services provided, such as lawn maintenance or community upkeep.
- Amenities: Determine if Longhorn Co offers any communal amenities for its residents. This could include laundry facilities, recreational areas, playgrounds, or community rooms. The presence and quality of such amenities can significantly impact the living experience.
- Community Rules and Regulations: Obtain information about the park's rules and regulations. This is crucial for understanding the expectations and guidelines for residents, covering aspects such as pet policies, parking, noise levels, and landscaping.
- Management and Maintenance: Given the past negative feedback, it is essential to assess the current management's responsiveness and commitment to addressing resident concerns and maintaining the property. Inquire about their procedures for handling maintenance requests and ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.
- Lease Terms and Costs: Understand the terms of the lease agreement, including the duration, monthly rent, security deposit requirements, and any potential fees. For RVs, inquire about the pricing structure for long-term stays.
- Local Environment and Accessibility: Justin, Texas, offers a small-town atmosphere with convenient access to larger urban centers like Denton and the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Research the local area for essential services such as grocery stores, healthcare facilities, schools, and recreational opportunities. Consider the proximity of Longhorn Co to these amenities and transportation routes.
For those considering Longhorn Co as a potential residence, whether with a mobile home or an RV for an extended period, a visit to the property is highly recommended. This would allow you to assess the current condition of the park, observe the community atmosphere firsthand, and speak directly with residents if possible. It would also provide an opportunity to meet with the management and ask specific questions related to your needs and concerns.
In conclusion, Longhorn Co presents a mobile home park option in Justin, Texas, that appears to have undergone positive changes in its community environment according to a long-term resident. However, past negative feedback regarding pest issues and management practices warrants careful consideration and thorough investigation by prospective residents. By combining information gathered online with direct inquiries and a site visit, individuals can make an informed decision about whether Longhorn Co aligns with their residential needs and preferences within the "RV parks near me" and mobile home park landscape.

Longhorn Co Reviews
When we first moved here about 10 years ago there was a lot of craziness going on. There was a lot of drinking and partying and fighting in the streets, gunshots and things like that. But over the last three or four years it has just really calmed down. Everyone on our street works and pretty much keeps to themselves. It's really peaceful and I really like it here.
