Longview Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For individuals and families in the Longmont, Colorado area who are searching for "RV parks near me" with the intention of finding a long-term residential option, Longview Manufactured Home Community, located at 11135 Longview Blvd, Longmont, CO 80504, USA, offers a community setting for manufactured homes. Unlike traditional RV parks that cater to temporary stays, Longview provides a more permanent living arrangement. However, the available feedback from residents presents a mixed picture, highlighting both positive aspects and significant concerns that potential residents should carefully consider.
On a positive note, recent improvements in the maintenance of the community have been acknowledged by a long-term resident. This reviewer, who has lived in Longview for over 15 years, states, "The new the new maintenance crew with John are doing an excellent job! We've lived here over 15 years and they are one of the best crew they've had! The place the grounds looks very nice. What an excellent job thank you guys!" This feedback indicates that efforts are being made to improve the physical appearance and upkeep of the community grounds, which can contribute to a more pleasant living environment for residents.
However, a serious concern is raised by another resident regarding the responsiveness of the management to critical safety issues. This reviewer describes a "dead Aspen tree about to fall on your house," emphasizing the potential for significant property damage or even injury. The reviewer states, "One good storm or wind event and this could come down and kill someone .Have a critical situation here. Office has ignored emails and phone calls and don't even have the courtesy to respond to you. Do your job !!!." This feedback paints a concerning picture of management that is unresponsive to urgent safety matters, potentially jeopardizing the well-being of residents and their property. The lack of communication and action on such a critical issue is a significant red flag for anyone considering living in this community.
The stark contrast between the positive feedback regarding the new maintenance crew and the negative feedback concerning unresponsive management to a safety hazard creates a complex picture of Longview Manufactured Home Community. While the grounds may be well-maintained, the apparent difficulty in getting management to address serious issues is a significant concern that potential residents must weigh carefully.
While specific services and features of Longview Manufactured Home Community are not extensively detailed beyond the maintenance of the grounds, typical manufactured home communities often offer a range of infrastructure and basic amenities to support long-term residency. These can include:
- Individual lots for manufactured homes with essential utility hookups such as water, sewer, and electricity.
- Roads and pathways within the community.
- Waste management services.
- An on-site management office to handle community affairs and resident inquiries, although the responsiveness of this office is clearly in question based on one review.
- Potentially, common areas or basic facilities, although these are not mentioned in the limited reviews.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who are actually seeking a permanent or long-term living arrangement in a manufactured home, Longview offers a residential setting for this type of housing. However, the critical issue of management responsiveness to safety concerns needs to be thoroughly investigated by potential residents.

In conclusion, Longview Manufactured Home Community in Longmont, Colorado, presents a situation with both positive and negative feedback. The recent improvements in grounds maintenance are a welcome sign. However, the serious allegation of unresponsive management to a potentially dangerous safety hazard is a significant concern that cannot be overlooked. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" with a need for long-term manufactured home living, Longview requires careful consideration and thorough investigation into the management's responsiveness and commitment to resident safety before making any decisions. It is essential to contact the community directly and seek clear assurances regarding the handling of critical issues.

How do you get management to take responsibility for a dead Aspen tree about to fall on your house? Apr 17, 2024 · Dean CummingsThe lot rent is going up to almost $1100 in March and it's not worth it! The neighborhood is not worth what you pay. The water always has issues, the irrigation has been off for a long time, and the pool is only open for about 6 weeks and is usually closed at least one week out of the 6. The office staff is all about making themselves a buck and does not care one bit about the community or the people in it. The park areas are outdated, the soccer nets are ripped to shreds, the volleyball court has no net and is a giant litter box, and the entire neighborhood has no grass, and it's all dead and brown. It's almost impossible to get a hold of the office and you pay a lot for it all! It's turned into s sad and miserable place that so many are moving away from. It used to be a beautiful and thriving family neighborhood. That's the difference between staff that cares and brings a community together vs. Staff that doesn't care about anything but themselves and makes for a miserable community and sad homeowners.I am a single mom with 2 kids. We have lived in this community since 2016. After my kid's dad, who also worked here, moved back out of state, I was left going from a stay-at-home mom to a full-time everything. It was always a struggle. As soon as I fell behind, Longview took the opportunity to pounce. They have done all they can in hopes of gaining our home from us having to walk away. The judge on my eviction case was left with her jaw on the floor. She told their attorneys that this is what she does and she had never heard of a community refusing to take payment from a family to help them save their home. They lied and/or gave misleading information to the 2 organizations that were going to help me save us from losing our home. When I found a buyer on a quick cash sale, they made sure to push them by forcing them to go through the steps to get a bonded title and refused to allow the sale with the quit claim deed that both myself and the previous owner bought the home with. The courts, the sheriff, and the lawyers I'm in touch with, have all been shocked at how things have gone down and the complete and utter disregard for anyone. They made sure it took place through the holidays as well. So it's been great. What was a bad situation, they made sure to make it worse. Once we lost our car, they took the opportunity to make sure that they would do all they could to gain ownership of my home. Which, by the way, I own outright! And it's the 2nd home we've owned in this community. My kids are almost 11 and 13 and we moved here when they were 2 and 4. They don't even know life before Longview. Sadly, this is what it has become. I couldn't even fix any of the things that were falling apart on or around our home because they would always make sure there was something else. They would send a notice, and as soon as I could find a way to tackle it, they would find something to complain about. Ex: My garage door broke. It's the only door to access the garage. So things got left outside the garage and they sent notices to clean up. So I brought in a trailer and used it to clean out stuff, organize the garage, and clean up the property. They tagged it to be towed. It's been insane. Add in the fact that we have been treated completely differently since we moved back once he chose to move away. To the point of being ostracized, getting notices for things that, others should as well, but do not, and even the managers telling our personal/confidential information to other tenants, and even strangers. They disclosed private information about our home and situation to someone not on our lease, or deed and not even living in the same state. One manager even went as far as to take pictures on her cell phone and send them to my ex-husband!!! I FO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR MONEY!!The short version: You deserve better than this community. Especially if you are a family. Let alone a single parent.
