Michigan Trailer Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Phoenix, Arizona, area, Michigan Trailer Park, located at 3140 W Osborn Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85017, USA, is a mobile home park that may appear in your search results. You can contact them at (602) 269-0122 or their mobile number, +1 602-269-0122, for inquiries about potential RV accommodations and services.
When considering a location listed under "RV parks near me," it is crucial to evaluate the environment, services, and features based on available information, including customer reviews. The limited feedback for Michigan Trailer Park presents a stark contrast in experiences, highlighting both significant negative issues and some positive aspects.
One reviewer expresses strong dissatisfaction, stating, "it sucks living here." This individual cites several serious problems, including "trash is always overflowing," the alleged practice of cutting off electricity and water "whenever they feel like it w.o giving notice," the imposition of "fees like cops for anything," and claims that "the landlord is rude and makes threats to deport people." These are grave accusations that raise significant concerns about the living conditions, management practices, and overall environment of Michigan Trailer Park. For anyone seeking a stable and respectful living situation, these allegations would likely be a major deterrent.
Conversely, another reviewer offers a more positive, albeit somewhat anecdotal, perspective based on a friend's experience of living there until recently. This reviewer describes the park as "quiet" and notes the unusual amenity of a soda machine priced at only 50 cents. They also mention a diverse range of homes, from "worn down to really modern and beautiful," suggesting a varied aesthetic within the community.
A particularly noteworthy positive aspect highlighted by this reviewer is an "outreach program on Saturday's for the kids," which they describe as having "Great people. Good food." This indicates a potential sense of community and support for families with children within the park. The final, somewhat humorous, comment about "some of the best dumpsters for diving" is unlikely to be a significant factor for most individuals seeking an RV park but does add a unique, if unconventional, observation.
Given these highly contrasting reviews, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Phoenix and considering Michigan Trailer Park face a complex decision. The serious allegations in the negative review regarding utility disruptions, excessive fees, and landlord behavior cannot be ignored. However, the positive review points to a quiet environment, a sense of community with the children's outreach program, and potentially affordable amenities like the soda machine.
To determine if Michigan Trailer Park accommodates RVs and to reconcile these conflicting perspectives, a thorough investigation is essential. The following steps are strongly recommended:
- Direct Contact: Reach out to Michigan Trailer Park directly at (602) 269-0122 or +1 602-269-0122. Inquire specifically about whether they offer sites for RVs, the types of hookups available (electricity, water, sewer), the size and accessibility of the sites, and the associated rates for both short-term and long-term stays.
- Address the Concerns Raised in Reviews: Directly ask the management about the allegations made in the negative review, such as the utility disruptions, fees, and landlord behavior. Seek their perspective and inquire about any policies or procedures in place to prevent such issues.
- Inquire About Amenities: Ask about any amenities provided for RV guests, such as restroom and shower facilities, laundry services, waste disposal areas, and recreational facilities. It would be prudent to inquire about the reliability and upkeep of these amenities, given the negative comment about overflowing trash.
- Environment and Safety: Inquire about the general environment of the park. Is it clean and well-maintained? What are the noise levels like? Are there any security measures in place? Try to get a clearer picture of the overall living conditions beyond the contrasting descriptions in the reviews.
- Management Policies: Ask about the management's policies regarding utility services, fees, rule enforcement, and communication with residents and guests. Understanding these policies is crucial, especially in light of the negative feedback about the landlord.
- Visit the Property: If possible, a visit to Michigan Trailer Park can provide a firsthand look at the current environment and the condition of the facilities. Observe the cleanliness of the grounds, the state of any communal areas, and the general atmosphere of the park. You might also be able to gauge the variety of homes mentioned in the positive review.
- Seek Additional Reviews: Search online for more recent reviews or testimonials about Michigan Trailer Park from various sources. Look specifically for feedback from individuals who have stayed in RVs at the park, if applicable. A broader range of opinions can provide a more balanced perspective than the two currently available.
The serious nature of the allegations in the negative review, particularly concerning utility disruptions and landlord behavior, should weigh heavily on any decision to consider Michigan Trailer Park. While the positive review offers some mitigating points, it is crucial to verify the current conditions and management practices directly.
When searching for "RV parks near me," reliability of utilities, fair and transparent fees, and respectful management are typically high priorities for travelers. The negative review suggests potential shortcomings in these areas at Michigan Trailer Park.
Therefore, while Michigan Trailer Park is located in Phoenix, AZ, and might technically appear in searches for "RV parks near me," potential guests should approach with significant caution. Thorough investigation and a direct assessment of the property are essential before considering a stay here. It would be prudent to prioritize RV parks in the Phoenix area that have more consistently positive and detailed reviews from RV travelers, highlighting reliable services and positive management.
In conclusion, the limited customer feedback for Michigan Trailer Park at 3140 W Osborn Rd, Phoenix, AZ, presents a concerning dichotomy, with serious allegations of poor living conditions and management practices contrasted by mentions of a quiet environment and community outreach. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully consider these conflicting perspectives and conduct thorough due diligence, including direct contact with the park, a potential site visit, and a search for additional reviews, before making any decisions. Exploring alternative RV parks in the Phoenix area with more consistent and positive feedback is strongly recommended to ensure a comfortable and reliable stay.

Jun 23, 2021 · Christina BundyParking is limited, hardly any space to drive through the park. Nice kids basketball court, a lot of run down trailers infested. A few nice ones. The staff was helpful but the power gets added on to your bill so you never know how much you will pay or if you even used that much power to begin with. Could be cleaned up but definitely run down trailer park.
Oct 03, 2019 · Sarah DonahueBed bugs transferring from trailer to trailer, roaches, and mice. Drugs, junkies shooting up in cars and on porch. Tried telling manager multiple times, all of which were ignored. Electric box is always being damaged by who knows, and when fixed charges way over what it's supposed to. Manager refuses to fix anything on property. Laundry room never has working machines, I've called the company several different times to get a refund on money the machines took. Dumpsters are almost always overflowing with trash, and bed bug infested furniture. They don't follow the rules from landlord and tenant act for mobile homes, city has come out several times due to them shutting off water without notice. One of the people who lives there in the biggest trailer never pays rent, Just does work here and there for free rent and has told people manager steals money from the tenants. (Which makes sense since they have a new car seemingly every few months.) People speed through the park, kids almost get hit on a daily basis. Dogs run rampant, and management does nothing about that, my son was approached by a dog known to bite that was running loose. I've made a report to the city about the bed bug infestation in one mobile home that they're letting a tenant sell, which by law they can not sell it. Over all if I could this place would have zero stars. Bad place, esp for people with children. Sex offenders live right down the street over the train tracks, drugs going in and out all the time, management does nothing to keep anything safe for children, things get stolen right off your patio, even by maintainence. They'll watch your stuff and when you leave take it. Bad place, never rent from here. Never rent to own these kinds of instead trailers.
Oct 31, 2016 · Elaine GrahamThis trailer park sucks potholes and speed bumps everywhere except where needed by laundry room. The office/owners do not keep up with property full of cats and trash. You are only allowed to have two vehicles which is fine, but if you have Company over and they park in front of trailer a tow truck will take your vehicle with no warning...... I would give no stars if I was able Don't not move here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
