Myrtle Grove Introduce
Myrtle Grove is a mobile home park situated at 1 Howell Road in New Bern, North Carolina. For individuals seeking "RV Parks Near Me" in the New Bern vicinity, Myrtle Grove presents itself as a potential option to consider. The provided contact numbers, (252) 283-0036 and +1 252-283-0036, offer a direct line for inquiries. However, the limited and contrasting customer reviews available online necessitate a balanced and objective introduction to help local users form their own initial impressions.
Environment and Location: New Bern, a historic city in eastern North Carolina, is positioned at the confluence of the Neuse and Trent Rivers. The area offers a blend of historical significance, cultural attractions, and natural landscapes. Nearby attractions include Tryon Palace, historic downtown New Bern, and various waterfront activities. One customer review describes Myrtle Grove's location as "relaxing" and notes a "minimal" noise level from a nearby airport. This suggests that the park might offer a degree of tranquility while still being within reasonable proximity to the amenities and conveniences of New Bern. For those prioritizing a peaceful setting when searching for "RV Parks Near Me," this could be an appealing aspect. The address on Howell Road indicates a specific location within the New Bern area, and prospective residents or visitors can use this information to assess its proximity to their points of interest.
Services and Amenities (Based on Limited Information): Information regarding the specific services and amenities offered at Myrtle Grove is limited. Typically, mobile home parks provide essential infrastructure for residents. For those considering bringing an RV to Myrtle Grove, common expectations for an RV park might include:
- Lot Availability: Spaces suitable for accommodating RVs, although the size and number of such lots are not specified.
- Utility Hookups: Access to essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewage connections is generally expected for RV living. However, it is crucial to confirm the availability and condition of these hookups directly with the management of Myrtle Grove.
- Road Access: Internal roadways within the park for navigating to individual lots.
One positive review encourages inquiries about "mobile homes rentals," suggesting that long-term residency in mobile homes is an option at Myrtle Grove. This might also imply the availability of basic infrastructure to support residential living. However, the negative review does not provide any insights into the park's amenities, focusing instead on the application process. Therefore, individuals interested in short-term or long-term stays should directly contact Myrtle Grove to obtain detailed information about the services and amenities offered.
Features and Atmosphere (Based on Conflicting Reviews): The two available customer reviews present starkly contrasting perspectives on Myrtle Grove. One reviewer praises the "excellent family quiet atmosphere" and describes it as a "relaxing location." This suggests a peaceful and family-friendly environment, which could be a significant draw for those seeking a tranquil setting among "RV Parks Near Me." The mention of minimal airport noise further supports the idea of a relatively quiet location.
In direct opposition, the second review describes a "horrible" experience with the application process. The reviewer alleges unprofessional behavior from the leasing agent/property manager, a lack of communication over a three-month period, and accusations of fraudulent practices regarding the application fee and denial process. This review raises serious concerns about the management and administrative aspects of Myrtle Grove. Potential residents or visitors should be aware of this negative feedback and consider it when making their decisions. The significant disparity between these two accounts underscores the importance of thorough investigation and direct interaction with the management to form an accurate understanding of the current atmosphere and operational practices at Myrtle Grove.
Promotional Information: The positive customer review includes a call to action, encouraging potential residents to "Visit them soon,or give them a call" and mentions that inquiries about mobile home rentals would be "highly appreciated." This could be interpreted as an implicit invitation for prospective tenants and might suggest that Myrtle Grove is actively seeking new residents for mobile homes. However, there is no specific mention of any formal promotional offers, such as discounted rates for long-term stays or special deals for RVers. Individuals interested in any potential promotions should directly inquire with the management when they contact Myrtle Grove.
Objective Introduction Based on Available Information: Myrtle Grove, located at 1 Howell Road in New Bern, NC, is a mobile home park with provided contact numbers (252) 283-0036 and +1 252-283-0036. For those searching within the "RV Parks Near Me" category, the limited customer feedback offers a mixed perspective. One reviewer highlights a "relaxing" and "quiet" family atmosphere with minimal airport noise, suggesting a potentially pleasant living environment. This review also indicates that inquiries about mobile home rentals are welcome.
Conversely, another reviewer recounts a severely negative experience with the application process, alleging unprofessionalism, poor communication, and potentially fraudulent practices. This feedback raises significant concerns about the management and administrative operations of Myrtle Grove. Potential residents or visitors should carefully consider this negative account alongside the positive one when evaluating this option.
Given the conflicting nature of the available reviews, it is strongly recommended that individuals interested in Myrtle Grove, whether for short-term RV stays or long-term mobile home rentals, contact the management directly to inquire about current availability, rates, amenities, and policies. It would also be prudent to seek additional, more recent reviews or, if possible, visit the property to form a firsthand impression of the environment and management practices. The stark contrast in the provided feedback underscores the need for thorough due diligence before making any decisions regarding Myrtle Grove as a potential "RV Park Near Me" or a place to reside.
In conclusion, Myrtle Grove presents a complex picture based on the limited online reviews. While one account suggests a quiet and family-friendly atmosphere, the other details a highly negative experience with the application process. Prospective residents or visitors should proceed with caution, conduct thorough inquiries, and consider all available information before making a decision about Myrtle Grove.

Nov 07, 2024 · Felix MirabalThis place is horrible. I put in an application and didn't hear anything for three months. When I first put the application in the leasing agent/property manager said to stop bothering her because she has other things to worry about. I paid the $100 application fee and did everything I was supposed to do just to be told it's not on her list of things to do. After waiting the three months to just have it processed and for them to lie and say I got denied but they couldn't tell me why. I have my credit watched and they didn't even run my credit. This company is fraud and steals the $100. Please don't waste your money here. I wouldn't trust them not to lose the rent.
