Oak Creek Village

3.0
It is a place to live and there are a lot of homeless people in the world today. Many hardworking families reside here and in today's economy it's the best that can be done right now. However, the property can be kept up so much better than the managers are doing. There are cats and kittens everywhere and no one owns any of them. The grass surrounding the vacant lots isn't mowed consistently which causes a nice habitat for field mice and mosquitoes. There are quite a few dilapidated trailers that are vacant and broke down cars everywhere. For the most part it is a pretty quiet neighborhood. - Sarah JaQuay

Oak Creek Village Introduce

For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Oak Creek Village, located at 2447 N Erie Ave, Tulsa, OK 74115, USA, is primarily a mobile home park but may offer RV parking options as well. Based on the available customer reviews, it presents a mixed picture, with some acknowledging its affordability while others raise concerns about the property's upkeep and infrastructure.

One reviewer describes Oak Creek Village as "a place to live" and acknowledges that "many hardworking families reside here," particularly in the context of the current economy. This suggests that the park serves as a more budget-friendly housing option in the Tulsa area. The reviewer also notes that for the most part, it is a "pretty quiet neighborhood," which could be a positive aspect for those seeking a relatively peaceful environment. However, this positive aspect is juxtaposed with several significant concerns regarding the property's maintenance.

The same reviewer points out that "the property can be kept up so much better than the managers are doing." Specific issues highlighted include a large population of unowned "cats and kittens everywhere." Additionally, the grass surrounding vacant lots is reportedly not mowed consistently, leading to a "nice habitat for field mice and mosquitoes." The presence of "quite a few dilapidated trailers that are vacant and broke down cars everywhere" further contributes to a sense of neglect and disrepair within the park's environment.

Another reviewer's experience focuses on the infrastructure of the park, specifically the roads within the property. They describe driving through the complex as "not a ln enjoyable experience by no means." A major complaint is the presence of "too many very rough speed bumps" that appear to be intentionally designed to damage vehicles. These speed bumps are reportedly spaced only 15 to 20 feet apart throughout the "fairly big" complex. The reviewer also mentions "massively deep potholes all over the roads," further emphasizing the poor condition of the internal roadways. While this review primarily discusses navigating the apartment complex, if RV parking is located within the same network of roads, RVers would likely encounter these same infrastructure issues.

Despite these environmental and infrastructure concerns, the second reviewer does mention that the "decent apartments" are "very spacious and remodeled" and "look nice." However, they conclude that the poor driving conditions within the complex make it "not worth driving in and out of there everyday to work and back home," stating that "it would depressing to pull into the complex each time arriving home." This sentiment underscores the significant negative impact of the park's infrastructure on the overall living experience, which could also affect RV guests.

Given that Oak Creek Village is primarily a mobile home park, specific services and features tailored to RV travelers are not detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, RV parks offer amenities such as electrical hookups (various amperages), water connections, sewer connections, and potentially common areas like restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. The reviews do not provide any information about the availability or condition of such amenities at Oak Creek Village for RV users. Potential RV guests would need to inquire directly about these essential services.

Similarly, the environment specifically for RV parking is not described. If RV spots are available, their size, layout, proximity to mobile homes, and the surrounding conditions (e.g., grass maintenance, presence of stray animals) would be important considerations for local users. The negative descriptions of the overall property upkeep raise concerns about the potential environment of any RV parking areas within Oak Creek Village.

Promotional information, such as rates for RV parking (daily, weekly, or monthly) or any special offers, is not mentioned in the reviews. For local users interested in the cost of parking their RV at Oak Creek Village, direct inquiry with the management would be necessary to obtain this information. Given the indications of affordability for mobile home residents, the RV parking rates might also be budget-friendly, but this is speculative without direct confirmation.

In conclusion, for local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Oak Creek Village presents itself as a potentially budget-friendly option. However, the available customer reviews raise significant concerns about the property's maintenance, including unmanaged stray animals, inconsistent lawn care, dilapidated structures, and severely damaged internal roads with numerous rough speed bumps and potholes. While the park is described as generally quiet and serves as a home to hardworking families, the reported issues with upkeep and infrastructure could negatively impact the experience of RV guests. Potential RV users should contact the management directly at (918) 924-7151 or +1 918-924-7151 to inquire about the availability of RV parking, the specific amenities offered, the condition of the RV sites and surrounding areas, and the current rates. It would be prudent to weigh the potential affordability against the reported environmental and infrastructure challenges before making a decision about staying at Oak Creek Village.
