Olde Mill Stream RV Resort Introduce
Welcome to Olde Mill Stream RV Resort, a destination for RV travelers located at 1000 N Central Ave, Umatilla, FL 32784, USA. Situated in the heart of Central Florida, Olde Mill Stream aims to provide a comfortable and community-oriented experience for both short-term visitors and long-term residents. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Olde Mill Stream offers a blend of friendly atmosphere and convenient access to the natural beauty and attractions of the Umatilla area.
Environment and Community:
Olde Mill Stream RV Resort appears to foster a welcoming and friendly environment. One guest who secured an overflow spot noted the "friendly guests" and had a "great time." Another visitor who stayed for a week also highlighted the friendliness of the long-term residents, many of whom are described as "northerners." This guest appreciated the welcoming gestures and the absence of the "clique-ish" atmosphere sometimes found in long-term parks. This suggests that Olde Mill Stream cultivates a community spirit that can enhance the stay for both short-term and long-term visitors.
The resort is described as "neat," indicating that the grounds are generally well-maintained. However, one reviewer mentioned that "campers are packed in very close," which might be a consideration for those who prefer more spacious sites or a greater sense of privacy. The proximity of sites could also contribute to the community feel, allowing for more interaction among guests.
One guest with an overflow spot enjoyed a "great view" and proximity to the clubhouse and other facilities. This suggests that the layout of the park offers some sites with advantageous locations and pleasant surroundings. However, another guest expressed disappointment with their assigned site, which had a concrete pad but required setting up the camper on newly dumped, barely leveled sand. This resulted in the camper settling and the area being muddy and sandy. This highlights the potential for variability in site quality and preparation, particularly for short-term stays.
Services and Facilities:
Based on the customer reviews, Olde Mill Stream RV Resort offers certain facilities that contribute to a comfortable stay. The mention of a "clubhouse" indicates a central area for activities or gatherings. The positive experience of a guest in an overflow spot suggests the availability of at least basic utilities like electricity and water in all areas, including temporary or overflow locations.
The second reviewer, who stayed for a week, did not participate in activities or use the facilities but noted their presence. This implies that Olde Mill Stream likely offers organized activities and communal facilities for its guests, particularly the long-term residents who seem to be more integrated into the park's social fabric.
A significant point of contention for the weekly visitor was the lack of a picnic table at their site, while "the long termers all seemed to have one." This suggests a potential disparity in amenities provided to short-term versus long-term guests. Similarly, the expectation of cable TV availability was unmet, as it was reportedly only accessible to long-term campers through a local provider. Short-term guests were able to receive some channels via antenna.
Prospective guests should contact Olde Mill Stream RV Resort directly at (352) 669-3141 or +1 352-669-3141 to inquire about the specific amenities available to all guests, including the availability of picnic tables, Wi-Fi access, laundry facilities, restroom and shower facilities, and any recreational amenities such as a pool or games area.
Features and Benefits:
Choosing Olde Mill Stream RV Resort for your stay in Umatilla could offer several appealing features:
- Friendly Community: The positive feedback regarding the welcoming nature of both staff and long-term residents suggests a strong sense of community.
- Convenient Location: Situated in Umatilla, the resort provides access to the attractions and natural beauty of Central Florida.
- Well-Run and Professional: One guest described the resort as "very well run, professional outfit," indicating efficient management and service.
- Potential for Good Value: The guest in the overflow spot mentioned a "great deal," suggesting that pricing can be competitive, although this might vary depending on the site and duration of stay.
However, it's also important to consider the potential drawbacks highlighted in the reviews:
- Close Proximity of Sites: Guests who prefer more space might find the sites to be too close together.
- Variable Site Quality: The experience of the weekly guest indicates that some sites, particularly for short-term stays, might not be as well-prepared or equipped as others.
- Limited Amenities for Short-Term Guests: The lack of a picnic table and cable TV for short-term visitors could be a disadvantage for some.
Olde Mill Stream appears to cater significantly to long-term residents or those staying for the "season," who may receive preferential treatment in terms of site quality and amenities. Short-term visitors might have a different experience and should inquire specifically about the features and services available to them.

Olde Mill Stream RV Resort Reviews
Was able to get a overflow spot, which was just fine (elec and water only). Long but narrower slot that was very easy in and out. Great view, close to clubhouse and other facilities. Great deal too. Very well run, professional outfit. Friendly guests. We had a great time. Well done Olde Mill Stream !!!
Feb 28, 2025 · Michael SmithWe stayed at Olde Mill Stream recently for a week. First the good: For a park filled with northerners they were all friendly. We have stayed in long term parks before and usually find them very "clique-sh". Heck, 3 people stopped when we were setting up camp and said "welcome to Florida"; we're born/raised in Florida! Staff was very pleasant and although we did not participate in activities or use their facilities, we found the park to be neat although campers are packed in very close. Negatives: I was very disappointed in our site. I don't know the situation, but our site had a concrete pad and newly dumped sand next to it that was barely leveled out and was where we had to set up our camper. Because the sand was not rolled down, after a couple days our camper had settled and we had to re-level the camper. Setting up was muddy and sand was always everywhere on the site. No picnic table, although the long termers all seemed to have one. Somehow we were led to believe cable tv was available. Nope, only to long term campers through the local cable provider. We were able to pick up stations on our antenna tho. We felt our site was not at all worth the fee they charge for a weekly stay. This would be "the hot" place to stay if your a northerner and will be here for the "season". If you're only going to be there a week or so I'd look for another place that offers the usual amenities to all guests.

Apr 04, 2025 · Shirley WardGreat place to live. Staff keeps the grounds looking good. Office staff is the best. People are very nice from all over US and Canada. Many activities. Nears shopping and dining. Highly recommend.
Feb 07, 2024 · Mary PiperIf your dog is overweight don't go here. We were refused our reservation cause our beagle was a few pounds overweight. Encore Southern Palms made room for us.
