Palm Beach Colony Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" or exploring "mobile home parks near me" in the West Palm Beach, Florida area? Palm Beach Colony, located at 1273 Dianne Dr #148, West Palm Beach, FL 33409, offers a mixed perspective based on recent customer reviews. With phone numbers (561) 686-1178 and +1 561-686-1178, Palm Beach Colony presents itself as a residential community. However, feedback from residents and visitors varies significantly, highlighting both positive aspects and areas of concern.
Initial Impressions and Positive Feedback
One visitor shared a positive experience, noting that "lunch was delicious" and the "staff is friendly," further describing the place as "gorgeous!" This initial impression suggests that Palm Beach Colony may offer appealing aspects such as on-site dining and a welcoming staff, potentially contributing to a pleasant atmosphere for visitors and perhaps some residents. The description of the place as "gorgeous" hints at potentially attractive landscaping or well-designed common areas, at least in certain parts of the community.
Concerns from a Long-Term Resident
In contrast to the positive initial impression, a long-term resident with 15 years of experience at Palm Beach Colony expressed significant concerns. Their review paints a less favorable picture of the community's current state. This resident feels that "this company doesn't seem to care about the place," indicating a perceived lack of investment in maintenance and upkeep over time. Such feedback from a long-term resident carries weight as it reflects sustained observations.
Maintenance and Cleanliness Issues
The long-term resident specifically described the "maintenance and clean-up of this place" as "appalling at best." This is a strong statement suggesting potentially significant neglect in the upkeep of the community's infrastructure and common areas. Poor maintenance can impact the quality of life for residents, affecting everything from the functionality of amenities to the overall aesthetic appeal of the park.
Safety Concerns Regarding Traffic
Another serious concern raised by the long-term resident involves safety within the community. They reported that "people speed through here don't even look where their going." This indicates a potential issue with traffic control and driver awareness within Palm Beach Colony, which could pose a risk to pedestrians and other residents. Lack of attention to speed limits and pedestrian safety can be a significant drawback for any residential community.
Appearance of the Pool Area
The condition of the pool area, often a central amenity in Florida communities, was also criticized. The resident described it as looking "like a cheap motel." This suggests that the pool area may be outdated, poorly maintained, or lacking in the aesthetic appeal one might expect from a residential community, especially in a desirable location like West Palm Beach.
Environment and Atmosphere: A Dichotomy
The limited reviews present a stark contrast in the perceived environment and atmosphere of Palm Beach Colony. The visitor's positive comments suggest a visually appealing place with a friendly staff, at least on the surface or during a short visit. However, the long-term resident's feedback reveals potential underlying issues with maintenance, safety, and the upkeep of key amenities like the pool area. This dichotomy suggests that initial impressions might not reflect the long-term living experience within the community.
Services and Features: Limited Information
The provided reviews offer limited information about the specific services and features available at Palm Beach Colony. Based on the context of it being a mobile home park, we can infer some potential offerings:
- Mobile Home Lots: Presumably, the community offers lots for residents to place their mobile homes. The size and amenities of these lots are not mentioned.
- Potential RV Sites: Given the platform category "RV parks near me," it's possible that Palm Beach Colony also accommodates RVs, although this is not explicitly stated in the reviews.
- Swimming Pool: A pool is mentioned, although its condition is a concern for one resident.
- Staff: A friendly staff is noted by one visitor.
- Potential On-Site Dining: The mention of "delicious lunch" suggests the possibility of a dining facility within the community.
Information regarding other common mobile home park amenities such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, pet policies, Wi-Fi availability, or organized activities is not provided in the reviews.
Community Aspect: Conflicting Views
The community aspect of Palm Beach Colony is also subject to conflicting views. The friendly staff mentioned by the visitor could contribute to a positive social atmosphere. However, the concerns raised by the long-term resident about speeding and lack of care for the property might indicate underlying tensions or a lack of community pride among some residents or the management.
Promotional Information and Availability
The provided reviews do not contain any information about promotional offers, the availability of mobile home lots or potential RV sites, or any special rates for new residents. For those interested in learning more about living at Palm Beach Colony, including current availability and pricing, it is crucial to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (561) 686-1178 or +1 561-686-1178. Direct inquiry will be necessary to obtain up-to-date information on these aspects.
Why Consider Palm Beach Colony? A Balanced Perspective
Palm Beach Colony in West Palm Beach presents a complex picture based on the limited available feedback. While a visitor reported a positive experience with delicious food and friendly staff, a long-term resident expressed significant concerns about the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety within the community. Potential residents or visitors should weigh these contrasting views carefully. The "gorgeous" initial impression might be appealing, but the reported issues with upkeep and speeding are serious considerations. It is highly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the property, speaking with current residents (if possible), and directly addressing the concerns raised in the negative review with the management before making any decisions about living or staying at Palm Beach Colony. Understanding both the potential positives and the reported negatives will be crucial in determining if this community aligns with your needs and expectations when searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home living options in West Palm Beach.

Mar 08, 2023 · Asphalt paving by gw PavingI've been here for 15 years. This company doesn't seem to care about the place. The pool area looks like a cheap motel. People speed through here don't even look where their going. The maintenance and clean-up of this place is appalling at best.
Sep 27, 2017 · Lori Burkei have lived here for a year and a half and i would not recommend this park, a great place and very good amenities but poor management. the office is always closed and the way they manage thing like the club house rental is not professional at all. they will ask you for a ($200 BLANK) money order and will never give it back to you without even notifying you why or the reasons. that money will go to a fund for equipment or maintenance of the park ( how do you know that? ) according to them. i will really like to stay here but not under the actual management. hope this issues will be fixed sooner than later.
