Pass Christian RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Pass Christian, Mississippi area, particularly if you are looking for a more budget-conscious option or an extended stay? Pass Christian RV Park, located at 132 Asmard St, presents a unique scenario based on recent customer reviews. It appears to cater primarily to long-term residents and those living in their RVs or buses, offering a functional albeit basic environment with a friendly owner.
One of the recurring positive aspects mentioned in the reviews is the friendly nature of the community and the owner, Dusty. One guest noted that "everyone was friendly, including Dusty the owner." This suggests a welcoming and social atmosphere within the park, which can be a significant comfort, especially for those planning an extended stay or who appreciate a sense of community among fellow RVers.
Safety is another factor highlighted positively. One reviewer explicitly stated, "We felt safe," which is a crucial consideration when choosing an RV park, whether for a short stopover or a longer period. Knowing that the environment is secure can provide peace of mind and contribute to a more relaxed stay.
The park is also described as "quiet," which can be a significant advantage for those seeking a peaceful environment, whether to rest during travels or to enjoy a more tranquil living situation. A quiet setting can enhance the overall comfort and appeal of an RV park, particularly for those who value a serene atmosphere.
Another potential draw for some is the price point, with one reviewer mentioning "the price was right." This suggests that Pass Christian RV Park might offer a more affordable option compared to other RV parks in the vicinity. For budget-conscious travelers or long-term residents looking to manage expenses, this could be a key factor in their decision-making process.
However, it is essential to consider the more critical feedback provided in the reviews, particularly regarding the park's facilities and overall condition. One reviewer explicitly states, "It’s not really for vacationing. It’s kinda for people that live in RVs or a bus or whatever." This suggests that the park's primary focus is on accommodating long-term residents rather than providing the typical amenities and upkeep often associated with vacation-oriented RV parks.
A significant concern raised in the reviews pertains to the bathroom facilities. One guest described the "two full bathrooms with showers" as "gross" and expressed serious concerns about their structural integrity, stating that "the floor is very soft like it’s about to fall through at any second." This is a serious issue that potential visitors should be aware of, as functional and sanitary restrooms are a basic expectation in any RV park or campground.
Further detailing the condition of the bathrooms, the reviewer also noted that "the tub has a crack in it and water just pours through it and onto the awning underneath." This indicates a state of disrepair that not only affects the usability of the tub but also suggests potential water damage and a lack of maintenance in this area.
The same reviewer concluded their assessment by stating, "I swear to god that I’m not exaggerating," emphasizing the severity of the issues they observed with the bathroom facilities. This strong statement should be taken into consideration by anyone contemplating a stay at Pass Christian RV Park.
Despite these significant drawbacks, the reviewer also offered a perspective on the park's niche, stating, "But, if you’re looking for that specific niche, that is the place." This implies that for individuals specifically seeking a no-frills, budget-friendly, long-term living situation in their RV or bus, and who might be less concerned about the condition of shared facilities, Pass Christian RV Park could be a viable option.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Pass Christian RV Park presents a mixed picture. While it offers a friendly owner, a sense of safety, a quiet environment, and a potentially lower price point, the significant concerns raised about the cleanliness and condition of the bathroom facilities are critical factors to consider. The park appears to cater more towards long-term residents in RVs rather than those seeking a typical vacation RV park experience with well-maintained amenities.
Given the strong negative feedback regarding the bathrooms, it would be prudent for potential visitors to inquire directly with the owner, Dusty, at (228) 452-7000 or +1 228-452-7000 about the current state of these facilities before making a reservation or committing to a stay. Understanding the current conditions and whether any improvements have been made is essential for making an informed decision.
While the reviews do not mention specific promotional offers, the emphasis on affordability ("the price was right") suggests that the park might be a budget-friendly option. However, this potential cost savings should be weighed against the reported condition of the amenities.
In conclusion, Pass Christian RV Park, located at 132 Asmard St, Pass Christian, MS 39571, offers a budget-friendly option with a friendly owner and a quiet, safe environment. However, potential guests should be aware of the significant concerns raised in recent reviews regarding the cleanliness and structural integrity of the bathroom facilities. The park appears to primarily serve long-term residents living in their RVs or buses. If you are seeking a basic, affordable, long-term stay and are willing to potentially overlook the condition of the shared amenities, Pass Christian RV Park might fit a specific niche. It is strongly recommended to contact the owner directly for the most up-to-date information on the park's condition and facilities before making any arrangements.

Perfectly good spot to spend a few days. Mainly full timers and quite untidy but everyone was friendly, including Dusty the owner. We felt safe, it was quiet and the price was right.

Oct 23, 2024 · Amy AndrewsThis is more of a camper home park than a normal campground. We booked this for cruisin the coast , site unseen. When we arrived at 230 on a Saturday afternoon, no one was in the office to book us into a site. While it was a clean park as much as we saw, it is not your normal campground. When we booked in late August, Dusty was very friendly.
Oct 11, 2024 · Betsy SnowI’ll say this straight away… if you plan on sleeping in your own RV/camper, do not choose this park. the ONLYYY reason I gave 2 stars is that it’s remote (and ghetto) and they do have public showers (look like they never get clean, smells disgusting) with community washers and dryers.other than that- i was at the park about a month before my “neighbor” showed up to the grounds and parked between me and an older couple.ever since they’ve moved in, i have not been able to get ANY sleep because these people are awake 24/7 blasting music(really is a sketchy park, i do not recommend), so this is now month 2 i’ve had to stay elsewhere because nothing is being done about these kids; even though the cops have been called out there over 5 times for this reason, nothing has changed. i still can’t go home peacefully because their sound system shakes the ground of my RV and the elderly ciull’s as well.may i also add.. we are still expected to pay full in rent and the owner told this elderly man if they’re bothering that much- to just unplug their rig from shore power.the ONLY rule i’ve seen listed is quiet hours are between 10pm and 6am. why put the sign up without enforcing it??instead.. he’s probably about to lose both of our RVs to different parks. don’t know who is reading this, but this issue is from lot #14.i never ever write reviews. the fact i can’t even sleep where I PAY TO SLEEP just isn’t going to fly w me. i don’t even go to my house because it’s REALLY that annoying. nobody is doing a thing about it.oh well. instead of kicking out the issue.. these two spots are going to stay turning around because there is no possible way to sleep.honestly, i’d give this park a 0 of 5 starstl;dri really don’t recommend this park. it is a mess and dealing with this music all the time is too stressful. it’s very ridiculous. sad case.. i genuinely enjoyed staying there until these people moved in. very unfortunate nothing is being done.. you’d think kicking out ppl who can’t follow one rule would by far trump possibly losing the 2 neighbors next to them… and that’s exactly what’s going to happen.also, grass is about a foot tall before anybody cons to cut it…just trust me. do not pick this campsite.
Aug 07, 2024 · tired ofitThe owner is very nice. We only stayed one day as there was no shade for us and it was beyond hot so we had to find a shaded campground for us. We were also bothered by multiple dogs barking 24/7. No place to stay and put up with that for a month. Lots of long timers staying feel bad for them as their campers are so old and not in good shape yet It's all they have to live in. Sorry it made me sad and it was best to leave.
