Pine Meadows Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in Columbus, Georgia, or considering a longer-term living situation in a mobile home park, Pine Meadows, located at 901 Joy Rd, Columbus, GA 31906, USA, is an option that warrants careful consideration based on recent customer feedback. You can contact them at (706) 604-5083 or +1 706-604-5083 for inquiries. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed overview of Pine Meadows, drawing exclusively from the provided customer reviews to offer an objective perspective on its environment, services, and features as experienced by residents.
Pine Meadows is situated on Joy Road in Columbus, Georgia. Columbus, located in the western part of the state, offers a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. Joy Road is located in the 31906 zip code, and the immediate environment surrounding Pine Meadows is not explicitly described in the reviews in terms of natural features or proximity to specific amenities. However, the reviews do shed light on the living conditions and management practices as perceived by tenants, which can indirectly inform potential RV park users or mobile home residents about the overall environment of the community.
When considering "RV parks near me," the quality of management and maintenance services is often a significant factor, especially for longer stays. The reviews for Pine Meadows present a concerning picture in this regard. One reviewer states, "...the worst experience ever..don't want to fix anything..but drive around giving attitude to tenants but don't do what needs to be done..." This paints an image of a management that is perceived as unresponsive to maintenance requests and potentially confrontational with residents. The reviewer further mentions having to involve HUD and legal aid due to "crooked stuff" allegedly being done by someone named Johnetta Smith, indicating potentially serious issues with management practices.
In stark contrast, the same reviewer recalls a more positive experience with previous management in 2018. At that time, the park was reportedly 95% occupied, and management was proactive in maintaining the property, including power washing trailers and clearing pine straw from roofs. This historical comparison highlights a significant perceived decline in management quality and service provision at Pine Meadows.
The second review corroborates the negative experiences with current management. This resident claims that "Management is more concerned with throwing pop up community events than providing proper Maintenance for tenants." While community events can be a positive aspect of a residential area, this reviewer suggests that they are prioritized over essential maintenance needs. A specific example is being "without AC since the beginning of the heat wave," a critical issue in the Georgia climate, especially for vulnerable individuals.
Further detailing the lack of responsiveness, the reviewer describes experiencing wiring issues over a weekend and facing difficulties in getting a timely response, even when fire alarms were going off. The process of reporting the AC issue also involved being directed to an after-hours number and then being screened, leading to delays in resolution. The temporary solution offered for the lack of AC was a single window unit for a "3 n 2 bathroom unit," which is likely inadequate for the size of the living space, particularly during a heat wave.
Maintenance issues extend beyond HVAC. The reviewer mentions a tree limb damaging their vehicle, for which they bore the cost. Upon notifying management of another hazardous tree limb, they were allegedly told that management was "not comfortable" with the cost of having it cut, only for the resident to later observe maintenance cutting a limb on another unit. This inconsistency suggests a lack of fairness and prioritization in addressing maintenance concerns.
The environment of Pine Meadows, as depicted by this reviewer, is also concerning in terms of safety and upkeep. They mention "Squatters and strays have a safe haven here due to lack of concern," implying a lack of security or management oversight regarding unauthorized individuals and stray animals on the property. Additionally, the reviewer notes "non residents dumping" and "extreme corner cutting," indicating potential issues with property maintenance and the overall appearance of the park.
The customer service provided by the current management is described as "to be desired," "unprofessional," and more inclined to argue than address resident grievances. The reviewer recommends customer service retraining for the management. Despite these significant issues, the reviewer emphasizes being a reliable tenant who has never been late or had any other issues.
Based solely on these recent customer reviews, potential residents considering Pine Meadows as one of their "RV parks near me" options or for long-term mobile home living should be aware of the serious concerns raised regarding management responsiveness to maintenance, customer service, and overall property upkeep. The stark contrast with the positive experiences reported under previous management in 2018 further underscores the potential for significant issues at the park currently.
Features or amenities that might typically be expected in a mobile home park or RV park, such as recreational areas, laundry facilities, or community events (beyond the "pop up" ones mentioned negatively), are not discussed in these reviews. The focus is primarily on the negative aspects of management and maintenance. Therefore, it is impossible to provide an objective overview of the standard features one might expect at Pine Meadows based on this information alone.
Similarly, no promotional information is mentioned in the reviews. Given the serious nature of the complaints, it is unlikely that residents would be highlighting any positive promotions. Potential applicants would need to inquire directly with the management about any current incentives, which should be weighed against the reported living conditions and management practices.
In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for Pine Meadows in Columbus, GA, paint a concerning picture of the park's management and maintenance. Potential local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering long-term residency in this mobile home park should be aware of the serious allegations of neglect, poor customer service, and safety concerns raised by current tenants. While past management may have provided a better living environment, the current situation, according to these reviews, appears to be significantly negative. It is strongly recommended that prospective residents conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the property, speaking with current residents (if possible), and directly addressing the concerns raised in these reviews with the management before making any decisions about residing at Pine Meadows.

Pine Meadows Reviews
omg...the worst experience ever..don't want to fix anything..but drive around giving attitude to tenants but don't do what needs to be done...I had to get HUD involved with the crooked stuff Johnetta Smith is doing n legal aid as well..smh...management in 2018 was the best...95% of trailers was occupied...they power washed ALL the trailers stuff got fixed, even had maintenance clear all the pine straw off the roofing. Management they have now is a joke. more than half the trailers are empty.
Apr 28, 2024 · Nicole WingfieldManagement is more concerned with throwing pop up community events than providing proper Maintenance for tenants. Customer service is to be desired with management. Been without AC since the beginning of the heat wave. Wiring issues developed over the weekend, I was asked if I had the After hours number when I reported the AC issue. All to utilize it and be screened.(Fire alarms going off for 30 to 45 minutes) trying to troubleshoot before I called the fire department. It took 3 more compulsive calls to recieve an answer, they answer I state my grievance all for a dismissive "fire alarm". The response to my AC being out was a window unit to cool my 3 n 2 bathroom unit. Tree limb damaged my vehicle I paid for it and went to notify them of another. I was told that management wasn't comfortable with having maintenance cut them(stating it was to high), all for me to see Maintenance standing on top of another unit to cut someone else's limb. Squatters and strays have a safe haven here due to lack of concern (their family doesn't live here) non residents dumping and extreme corner cutting. Unprofessional and had more energy to argue than just address my grievance. Customer service retrain recommended. Never been late or iffy.

Apr 16, 2024 · Prophet Jeffery MarshallI've been complaining about the living conditions since I been here. You can never get in contact with MGMT if need be. They always driving around spying on people. I wouldn't refer this place to anybody. I'm looking to move ASAP that's why I'm on a month to month lease. Ifts not worth what they are asking for . Also since the new owners took over and fired all their staff this mobile home park look worst than It ever did. They need to rehire Tommy back. At least he kept this place presentable, nice, and clean, l. There's so much trash every where.
