You can reach them at (503) 355-2278 or +1 503-355-2278 for reservations and inquiries.
Based on recent customer reviews, Shorewood RV Resort is consistently described as "clean, neat and organized." This emphasis on cleanliness and order suggests a well-maintained environment where guests can expect a pleasant and comfortable experience. The resort also boasts "amazing views," implying a picturesque setting that likely takes advantage of its coastal location in Rockaway Beach. For those seeking scenic beauty during their RV travels, the views at Shorewood RV Resort appear to be a significant draw.
Pricing at Shorewood RV Resort seems to vary depending on the season. One reviewer notes that "April and May are cheaper prices then summer," indicating that travelers visiting during the spring shoulder season may benefit from more affordable rates. Conversely, the "dry season is expensive," which likely refers to the peak summer months when demand is higher. The reviewer also mentions that while spring is the rainy season, the price is still reasonable, suggesting a potential trade-off between cost savings and weather conditions for those visiting in April or May. This seasonal pricing information is valuable for budget-conscious travelers planning their Oregon coast RV trips.
Shorewood RV Resort appears to be a welcoming place for various types of gatherings and activities. The reviewer mentions observing "family unions, birthday party, graduation party, spring break and all kinds of family activities" taking place within the resort, suggesting a family-friendly atmosphere and the capacity to accommodate groups. This vibrant social scene could be appealing to those traveling with family or looking for a community-oriented RV experience.
The location of Shorewood RV Resort offers opportunities for outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy "crabbing, fishing and tour cute downtown," indicating that the resort provides access to both natural attractions and local amenities in Rockaway Beach. The proximity to crabbing and fishing spots will be particularly attractive to those who enjoy these coastal pastimes, while the access to the downtown area allows for exploration of local shops and restaurants.
It's important to note that Shorewood RV Resort "has rules," and the reviewer advises that as long as guests are comfortable with these regulations, they are likely to "enjoy here." This suggests that the resort prioritizes a certain level of order and may have specific guidelines in place to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests. Prospective visitors should be prepared to adhere to these rules during their stay.
Another reviewer who stayed for two nights with three children in their camper echoed the positive sentiments, highlighting that they "enjoyed how quiet, clean, safe, and well-run everything was." This reinforces the earlier feedback regarding the resort's cleanliness and organization, and also adds the aspects of quietness and safety, which are crucial for a relaxing family getaway. The reviewer specifically commended the hosts as "very helpful and attentive" upon arrival, indicating a positive and welcoming check-in experience and readily available assistance.
The cleanliness of the facilities extends to the restrooms, which were described as "extremely clean and well kept." High standards of hygiene in communal facilities are essential for guest comfort and satisfaction, and Shorewood RV Resort appears to excel in this area.
Interestingly, the second reviewer noted that "it seems like most of the guests are actual residents," which contributed to a feeling of a "safe, comfortable community where people care about the overall quality of the place." This suggests that Shorewood RV Resort might have a significant number of long-term residents, fostering a stable and caring community atmosphere that can be appealing to both short-term and extended-stay visitors seeking a sense of security and belonging.
Beach access is another significant advantage of Shorewood RV Resort, with the reviewer mentioning that it was "just a few minutes walk and absolutely beautiful." Proximity to the beach is a major draw for visitors to the Oregon coast, and the easy access to a beautiful beach enhances the appeal of this resort for those looking to enjoy the sand and surf.
However, the second reviewer also pointed out that "the lots are fairly close together so it’s definitely not a place where we’d make a campfire and hangout all day." This provides important information about the layout of the resort, suggesting that while it offers a pleasant and well-maintained environment, it might not be ideal for those seeking large, private campsites with ample space for outdoor activities like campfires and all-day lounging. For this family, who visited the area for clamming and exploring and primarily used the site for sleeping and winding down, the close proximity of the lots was not an issue and the resort was "perfect." This highlights that Shorewood RV Resort might be particularly well-suited for travelers who plan to spend their days exploring the surrounding area and appreciate a clean, quiet, and safe base to return to.
Considering the platform category "rv parks near me," Shorewood RV Resort in Rockaway Beach appears to be a highly recommended option. Its strengths include its cleanliness, organization, amazing views, friendly hosts, clean facilities, sense of safety and community, and easy beach access. While the lots may be close together, this did not detract from the positive experience of one family who used the resort as a comfortable base for exploring the area. The seasonal pricing, with potential savings in April and May, is another attractive feature for budget-conscious travelers.
Information regarding specific services such as full hookups (water, electricity, sewer) at each site, Wi-Fi availability, laundry facilities (though mentioned as clean), or other recreational amenities (beyond beach access and proximity to local activities) is not extensively detailed. However, the positive reviews suggest that the essential amenities are well-maintained and the overall experience is satisfactory.
In conclusion, Shorewood RV Resort in Rockaway Beach, OR, offers a clean, quiet, safe, and well-run environment with stunning views and convenient beach access. Its friendly hosts and well-kept facilities contribute to a positive guest experience. The resort's community feel, possibly due to a significant number of long-term residents, adds to its appeal. While the lots are relatively close together, making it less ideal for extensive on-site lounging and campfires, it serves as a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Oregon coast and the charming town of Rockaway Beach. The seasonal pricing offers potential cost savings for spring visitors. For local users searching for "rv parks near me" on the Oregon coast, Shorewood RV Resort is definitely worth considering for a memorable and comfortable stay.

Shorewood RV Resort Reviews
Clean, neat and organized Resort. Views are amazing. April and May are cheaper prices then summer. Dry season is expensive but so Spring is still rainy season. Price is not bad just dealing with weather.(cold, windy and rainy) family unions, birthday party, graduation party, spring break and all kinds of family activities in here such a wonderful. You can crabbing, fishing and tour cute downtown. Resort has rules if you didn’t have trouble with that. You will enjoy here.
Apr 30, 2023 · Morai BallWe did a 2 night stay here in our camper with our 3 kids and enjoyed how quiet, clean, safe, and well-run everything was. The hosts were very helpful and attentive when we arrived. Bathrooms were extremely clean and well kept. It seems like most of the guests are actual residents, so it felt like a safe, comfortable community where people care about the overall quality of the place. Beach access was just a few minutes walk and absolutely beautiful. On a side note- we visited the area to go clamming and explore so we were only at the site to sleep/wind down. The lots are fairly close together so it’s definitely not a place where we’d make a campfire and hangout all day. But for us, it was perfect. Would definitely come back here the next time we are in the area!
Jun 29, 2018 · L. M.Excellent beach-front location, just south of Rockaway Beach. We stayed here for two weeks in a large back-in space that fully accommodated our 40’ fifth wheel, and offered a nice small picnic area behind the unit with a fire pit and picnic table. The park is not a “resort”, and it’s quiet, casual “beachy” atmosphere was perfect for us. The park is well managed, with friendly staff, and is well supervised. Many of the spaces/units are long-term leased, and the environment is very neighborly. It’s pricey, but consistent with beach-access park costs, and well worth the price. We will definitely stay here again!
Jul 11, 2019 · Julie MitchellPeaceful, well-kept park with an incredible location on Rockaway Beach. Private beach access at the front of the park. Everything is very clean and the traffic in the winter was minimal. This is one of the cutest little RV parks we've ever seen, with attractive tiny-house style mobiles and lovely landscaping. The managers were warm and hospitable. I wouldn't recommend Shorewood for party-goers. Respect is a must at this park and we truly appreciate the environment they maintain.
Dec 21, 2020 · R KAbsolutely delightful! Beautiful setting on the beach with a great staff of very friendly people. Limited sites for overnighters but if you can get in you will not want to leave. Peaceful and tranquil. Some units are on an annual basis and the people are so friendly and courteous. Just a magnificent experience. We could stay here forever! Miles of beach to walk on! WOW!!!
