Port Of Garibaldi RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" along the scenic Oregon Coast, the Port Of Garibaldi RV Park, located at 606 Biak Ave, Garibaldi, OR 97118, USA, presents a potentially appealing option. You can reach them at (503) 322-3292 or +1 503-322-3292. Based on recent customer reviews, this RV park offers a convenient location with easy access to the town of Garibaldi and the bay, along with a welcoming atmosphere for families and pets.
One of the key highlights mentioned by a guest is the park's accommodating nature. They appreciated that the park did not charge a $10 reservation fee, especially as they arrived late, and their reserved spot was still available. This suggests a degree of flexibility and customer-friendliness in their policies. The same reviewer also noted that "Everyone was great and no one complained about our dogs or kids," indicating a welcoming environment for families traveling with children and pets. This can be a significant factor for many RV travelers when choosing a park.
The location of Port Of Garibaldi RV Park is also a significant advantage. The reviewer mentioned "It was a easy walk to the hold town and bay to clam." This proximity to the town allows guests to easily explore local shops, restaurants, and attractions without the need for extensive travel. The easy access to the bay for clamming is a major draw for those interested in harvesting shellfish, a popular activity along the Oregon Coast. This suggests a potentially waterfront or near-waterfront location, enhancing the coastal experience for visitors.
However, the same reviewer provided a caveat regarding crabbing in the bay, noting that it "sucked because there is a company or boat that throws his fish carcasses in the bay about 4am so the crabs are full and won't eat." While this issue might be beyond the control of the RV park itself, it's valuable information for guests planning to go crabbing. The reviewer did mention that crabs "can be grabbed if in the water diving," suggesting that other methods of harvesting crabs might still be viable.
It's important to note that the second review provided is not directly about the RV park itself but rather about a restaurant experience in Garibaldi during the "Garibaldi Days Festival weekend." While this review praises the food ("very good") and the generous portions, as well as mentioning a limited but large menu and generally okay service despite the busyness of the festival, it doesn't offer insights into the RV park's environment, services, or features. Therefore, we must rely primarily on the first review for information about the RV park.
Based on the available information, Port Of Garibaldi RV Park appears to offer a friendly and convenient base for exploring the town of Garibaldi and enjoying activities like clamming in the bay. The welcoming attitude towards families and pets is a significant positive aspect. However, potential guests interested in crabbing should be aware of the reported local conditions that might affect their success.
Given the limited information, we can infer some potential services and features that are typically offered by RV parks, although they are not explicitly mentioned in the reviews for Port Of Garibaldi RV Park:
- **RV Sites:** The park likely offers various sizes of RV sites to accommodate different types of recreational vehicles.
- **Hookups:** These sites may include full hookups (water, electricity, and sewer), partial hookups, or basic dry camping options. The presence of "full hookups" was mentioned in a review for another nearby RV park, suggesting this is a common offering in the area. It would be prudent to confirm the type of hookups available at Port Of Garibaldi RV Park.
- **Restrooms and Showers:** Clean and accessible restroom and shower facilities are generally expected at RV parks.
- **Laundry Facilities:** For longer stays, the availability of laundry services is often important for RV travelers.
- **Water and Waste Disposal:** Access to potable water and a dump station for RV waste are usually provided.
- **Pet-Friendly Amenities:** Given the positive mention of pets being welcome, the park might have specific areas for pet relief or other related amenities, although this is not confirmed.
Regarding the environment, the park's proximity to the town and bay suggests a potentially coastal or near-coastal setting. Guests might expect to enjoy views of the water or easy access to waterfront activities. The mention of walking to town implies a relatively central location within Garibaldi, making it convenient to explore the local area on foot.

Jul 31, 2023 · david trystmanIt was busy with dine-in and take-out orders. Since it was Garibaldi Days Festival weekend they offered a limited, but still large, menu. Although both of our orders were wrong it was OK. Onions were left on one sandwich (easy to remove) and a large tri tip salad was brought instead of a small (no extra charge). The salad had a ton of meat on it. The food was very good. It was a lot of food and 2 people could have easily shared either one and been full. With all the business of the day it took about 25 minutes to get our order. The service was OK but a couple of waitresses seemed to be new. Overall it was a nice lunch. Cost of the salad was $10, the sandwich was $15.
Jul 22, 2017 · Sandra WillemsThe park was clean, gravel on the grounds but it wasn't dusty or dirty. It's located right on the port and there were a lot of restaurants in the area. The Oregon Coast Scenic Steam powered Train was within walking distance. At the port it was fun to see the boats come in with all their catch. Lots of fun and beauty.
Aug 18, 2017 · Dave SanguinettiI was a little hesitant when we showed up. Place doesn’t seem like much. But it is in a great location, stuff is super safe, and the place comes with Dave. Dave makes it special, don’t worry, he’ll find you when you come in. Great guy. We were very happy to stay here for the week.
Jul 17, 2021 · Big TravelerThe only good thing about this place is that it is interesting to ponder its existence: Why would an RV park be placed in such an awful location? I truly have no idea. The only good thing I can think to say about this place is that it has a laundry facility. The views are at best non-existent and at worst terrible. There's nothing to do except sit around wishing you were anywhere else.
