For local users searching for "rv parks near me" in the Tillamook, Oregon area, Tillamook RV Park, located at 1950 Suppress Rd N, Tillamook, OR 97141, USA, offers a well-regarded option for a comfortable and convenient stay. You can reach them at (503) 354-4627 or +1 503-354-4627 for reservations and inquiries.
Based on recent customer reviews, Tillamook RV Park is described as "very nice" and "well maintained," indicating a commitment to providing a pleasant and well-kept environment for its guests. The positive feedback highlights several key features and amenities that contribute to a positive visitor experience.
For travelers with pets, Tillamook RV Park offers a significant advantage with a "nice dog run." This dedicated space allows dogs to exercise and play off-leash in a safe and designated area, making the park an attractive choice for pet owners. The availability of a dog run demonstrates the park's consideration for guests traveling with their furry companions.
The RV spaces themselves are described as "wide and clean" and are equipped with a "mat." Wide spaces provide more room for maneuvering and setting up camp, enhancing comfort and convenience. The inclusion of a mat at each site suggests attention to detail and a desire to keep the individual spaces clean and tidy for guests.
Tillamook RV Park also offers additional amenities that enhance the guest experience. They have a "covered patio, nicely furnished with a grill." This communal space provides a comfortable area for socializing, relaxing outdoors regardless of the weather, and enjoying barbecues. The inclusion of a grill makes it easy for guests to prepare meals and enjoy outdoor cooking.
Families traveling with children will appreciate the presence of a "very nice" play structure. This amenity provides a safe and fun area for kids to play and burn off energy, making Tillamook RV Park a family-friendly destination.
Cleanliness appears to be a high priority at Tillamook RV Park, with one reviewer stating, "Everything is clean and neat." This reinforces the earlier comment about clean spaces and suggests an overall commitment to maintaining a hygienic and orderly environment throughout the park.
One reviewer addressed a potential concern that might arise from the local environment. They mentioned seeing a review about the "odor of the petting zoo," but clarified that the smell is "actually just the signature Tillamook aroma." This likely refers to the characteristic scent associated with the Tillamook Creamery, a famous local attraction known for its dairy production. This information is helpful in setting expectations for visitors and reassuring them that any noticeable aroma is a normal part of the Tillamook experience rather than an issue with the RV park itself.
The overall positive experience at Tillamook RV Park is summarized by one reviewer who stated, "We will definitely come back." This strong endorsement speaks volumes about the quality of the park and the satisfaction of its guests.
However, it is important to acknowledge a contrasting review that mentions, "The management lady is an absolute control freak. Definitely violated many tenant laws." This is a serious accusation and a significant point of concern for potential long-term residents or even short-term visitors who value respectful and lawful management practices. While this is a single negative comment, it warrants consideration and potentially further investigation for those planning an extended stay.
Considering the platform category "rv parks near me," Tillamook RV Park offers a range of appealing features for RV travelers in the Tillamook area. Its wide and clean spaces, dog run, covered patio with a grill, and nice play structure cater to a variety of needs, including those of pet owners and families. The emphasis on cleanliness and maintenance further enhances its appeal. The clarification regarding the "Tillamook aroma" helps manage expectations about the local environment.
However, the serious allegation against the management in one review cannot be ignored. While other reviews are positive about the park's amenities and cleanliness, potential long-term residents or those anticipating significant interaction with management might want to seek further information or exercise caution based on this feedback.
Information regarding specific services such as full hookups (water, electricity, sewer) at each site, Wi-Fi availability, laundry facilities, or other recreational amenities (beyond the play structure and covered patio) is not explicitly detailed in the positive reviews. However, the overall positive sentiment suggests that the essential amenities are likely provided and well-maintained. Potential visitors seeking specific services beyond those mentioned would benefit from contacting the park directly.
Similarly, promotional information is not included in the provided reviews. There are no mentions of special rates, discounts, or unique offers being advertised to attract new visitors. The feedback is purely based on the experiences of recent guests.
In conclusion, Tillamook RV Park in Tillamook, OR, generally receives positive feedback for its clean and well-maintained environment, wide spaces, dog run, covered patio with a grill, and nice play structure, making it a potentially excellent choice for RVers, families, and pet owners. However, a serious negative review regarding management practices should be considered, especially by those contemplating a longer stay or anticipating significant interaction with the park's management. For local users searching for "rv parks near me," Tillamook RV Park offers a range of appealing amenities and a generally positive experience, but it would be prudent to be aware of all available feedback when making a decision.

Mar 09, 2018 · Jenny HainesPark was great. Good location close to the highway and central to a few attractions. The kids loved the playground and the animals that are kid friendly (petting zoo). We even got a complimentary bundle of wood to enjoy a campfire. The second night of our stay (Friday) they had a group campfire and smores hosted by the park owners. Really had a great time.
Jul 21, 2018 · Ed SeedAwful experience, I was staying with family temporarily and the landlord is a psycho control freak who will scream profanity at kids over small things. The park itself is poorly taken care of. Even tho I was staying as a guest I would strongly recommend staying as far away from here as possible.
Aug 22, 2023 · Cheese FriesVery convenient to the cheese factory. Sites were reasonably level and large enough for a travel trailer and tow vehicle. Sites and roads are gravel. Minimal but pleasant landscaping between sites. Outstanding large, fenced, dog area with grass and lots of room to play. Utilities worked fine and we got good satellite reception. Owners were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
