Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" along the captivating Oregon Coast, Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc, located at 7805 Alderbrook Rd, Tillamook, OR 97141, USA, presents itself as a potentially well-situated option. Its address suggests proximity to Bay City and the surrounding Tillamook County, offering a base for exploring the region's attractions and natural beauty. You can reach them at (503) 377-2124 or +1 503-377-2124 for inquiries and reservations.
According to one positive customer review, Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc boasts a "wonderful place to stay" and enjoys a central location that provides easy access to several notable destinations. These include Bay City itself, the charming town of Garibaldi, the renowned Tillamook Creamery, and the city of Tillamook. This central positioning could be a significant advantage for travelers looking to explore the diverse offerings of the area without extensive travel times. The reviewer also specifically mentions the opportunity to "sit and watch wonderful sunsets and listen to waves lapping and birds calling," suggesting a potentially scenic environment conducive to relaxation and enjoying the natural coastal ambiance.
However, it's important to consider a contrasting, more recent review that details a negative experience. This former regular customer, who had rented yurts at the park multiple times over several years, indicates a perceived decline in the park's management or policies. The primary concerns raised involve unexpected and allegedly undocumented charges. Specifically, the reviewer mentions that all four yurts rented by their group were charged a $30 cleaning fee, which they claim was not mentioned on the website or reservation receipt. Additionally, this reviewer reports being charged twice for an extra car parking day and an unexplained extra charge of $72.48. While one member of their group reportedly had the cleaning fee reversed after threatening legal action, the other three were unsuccessful in resolving the charges with the park and had to dispute them with their credit card companies.
The negative review strongly advises recent guests to check their bills for unexpected cleaning fees and to seek a reversal if charged. The reviewer concludes by stating their intention not to return to Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc and expresses a hope to prevent others from being overcharged. This feedback highlights the importance for potential future guests to be diligent in reviewing their reservations and invoices for any unexpected fees and to clarify all charges with the park management prior to and upon departure.
Considering the limited information available online beyond these two contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the park's specific environment, services, and features. The positive review suggests a pleasant natural setting with potential for enjoying coastal views and sounds, as well as convenient access to nearby towns and attractions. However, the negative review raises significant concerns about transparency in billing and the potential for unexpected charges, particularly regarding cleaning fees for yurts and parking. Information regarding standard RV site amenities (such as hookups, Wi-Fi availability, restroom and shower facilities, laundry, etc.) is not readily available in these reviews.
Similarly, details about specific promotional information are absent. It is unknown whether Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc offers any discounts for extended stays, seasonal specials, or other promotions. To obtain this information, as well as to clarify the current policies regarding cleaning fees, parking charges, and the amenities available at both RV sites and any rental units like yurts, it is crucial to contact the park directly at the provided phone numbers: (503) 377-2124 or +1 503-377-2124.
For local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category and considering Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc, it is recommended to weigh the positive feedback regarding its location and potential for scenic enjoyment against the serious allegations of unexpected and disputed charges in the more recent review. Due diligence in confirming all fees and policies before booking and carefully reviewing your bill upon departure appears to be particularly important based on the available customer experiences. Inquiring about the types of RV hookups available, the condition of the facilities, and any amenities offered would also be beneficial in making an informed decision. While the location offers undeniable advantages for exploring the Tillamook Bay area, potential guests should proceed with caution and ensure clear communication with the park management regarding all costs and policies to avoid potential billing issues.
In conclusion, Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc presents a potentially attractive option for those seeking "RV parks near me" due to its seemingly convenient location for exploring the Tillamook Coast. However, the contrasting customer reviews necessitate careful consideration. While one reviewer praises its location and ambiance, another details significant issues with unexpected charges. Therefore, direct communication with the park management is strongly advised to obtain current and accurate information regarding services, fees, and policies before making a reservation. This will help ensure a more predictable and enjoyable experience for those considering a stay at Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc.

Tillamook Bay City RV Park Inc Reviews
A wonderful place to stay. Centrally located to visit Bay City. Garibaldi. Tillamook Creamery and the City of Tillamook. Don't forget the leave time to sit and watch wonderful sunsets and listen to waves lapping and birds calling
Mar 15, 2025 · John BoydThis place used to be a great place to rent. The host was super friendly and nice. We were regulars who rented yurts a couple of times a year with a group of people. Not sure what has changed, but it has gone downhill. We just rented 4 yurts amongst us and all four yurts got charged a $30 cleaning fee. I don't usually look over my credit card statements and luckily my friend looked at his and told me to check mine. I was also charged twice for a one-day extra car parking and also got an extra $72.48 charge for who knows what. My friends called to dispute the $30 charge which is nowhere on their website or the reservation receipt. We've stayed here for years without such a fee. The only one who got his fee reversed was the one who threatened to get a lawyer. The remainder 3 of us have dispute the charges with our credit card company since Bay City RV Park would not reverse the charges. If you've reserved recently, go check your bill and get for cleaning fee charge reversed. We will never reverse from this place again and hope to prevent others from being overcharged.
Mar 29, 2024 · SaanIt was nice, we were here during the slow season. We stayed in Yurt F. It was a bit cold at first since it's winter. But it warms up quick with the heater they provide. I took my husband for his birthday, it was his first time staying in a Yurt. The lady at the front desk was super helpful, and a lovely person. Thank you for your hospitality.
Dec 12, 2023 · Kaitlin KlawitterThis RV park is a little gem!It is rustic, but very easy to park our 37.5ft rig. They offer full hook-ups, pull-throughs and a laundry room w/ very reasonable priced washer & dryers (2 washers/2 dryers). They also have little yurts for camping. All in all a nice little park.
Jun 23, 2024 · Lise RogersI have stayed at this place many times in the last 5 years. Was always great up until I stayed there last weekend. Was nice and clean. But this time when we checked the credit card to pay the bill there were multiple new fees that were never discussed. A $30 cleaning fee. And e al aye clean out yurt out. Again never charged in the last 5 years. Was also there one day but got charged two days for parking. How is that possible. Not sure if they changed ownership or what. Then a miscellaneous charge of $72. When you call to talk to someone they are rude and hang up. My family and friends won’t be staying here anymore. For this price I will just get a hotel.
