Nehalem Bay Trailer Park Introduce
For local users searching for "rv parks near me" or considering long-term living options in the Nehalem, Oregon area, Nehalem Bay Trailer Park, located at 36455 US-101, Nehalem, OR 97131, USA, presents a mobile home community that has undergone recent changes. You can reach them at (503) 368-5180 or +1 503-368-5180 for inquiries.
Based on available customer reviews, Nehalem Bay Trailer Park has experienced a transition in ownership in recent years. According to one reviewer who knows some residents, the new owner has been actively working to improve the park's image by implementing standards that residents need to meet to remain in the community. This suggests a focus on maintaining a certain level of upkeep and potentially enhancing the overall environment of the park. The same reviewer noted that the park "looks nice," indicating that these efforts towards improvement have yielded visible results.
However, this positive observation is contrasted by a serious negative review detailing a highly concerning experience with an individual identified as Warren Peterson, presumably associated with the management or ownership. This reviewer recounts an attempt to purchase a home within the park, stating that a $6,000 deposit was provided to take the house off the market. Contrary to this agreement, the reviewer alleges that the home continued to be shown to other potential buyers and was ultimately sold to a cash buyer while their loan was being finalized. Furthermore, the reviewer claims an attempt was made to retain an additional $3,000, described as non-refundable. This account raises significant concerns regarding business practices and the trustworthiness of the individual mentioned.
Considering the platform category "rv parks near me," it's important to understand that Nehalem Bay Trailer Park primarily functions as a mobile home park. While it may accommodate some RVs on a long-term basis, it may not offer the same amenities and services typically associated with dedicated RV parks designed for shorter stays. These might include specific hookups for water, electricity, and sewer at each site, communal restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, or recreational areas specifically geared towards transient travelers.
The review mentioning the new owner's efforts to "clean up the image" and implement standards suggests a potential improvement in the overall environment of the park. This could translate to a more organized and aesthetically pleasing community for residents. However, the lack of specific details about the park's physical environment, such as landscaping, common areas, or the size and layout of lots, makes it difficult to provide a comprehensive description. The comment that the park might be "a bit crowded" suggests that lot sizes or the density of homes might be a consideration for potential residents or long-term RVers.
Information regarding services and features at Nehalem Bay Trailer Park is limited based on the provided reviews. The focus of one review is on the change in management and the resulting visual improvements, while the other details a specific and negative experience related to a home purchase. Neither review provides insights into typical park amenities such as utility hookups, waste disposal, mail service, or any community facilities that might be available. For individuals considering residing at Nehalem Bay Trailer Park, it would be essential to inquire directly about the availability and nature of these services.
Similarly, promotional information is absent from the provided text. There are no mentions of special offers, discounts, or unique selling points that might attract potential residents or long-term RVers. The information is purely based on two contrasting customer experiences, one hinting at positive changes in the community's appearance and the other alleging serious misconduct related to a property transaction.
Given the limited and conflicting nature of the available information, it is challenging to provide a fully objective and detailed introduction to Nehalem Bay Trailer Park as an "rv park near me." While the park appears to be undergoing some positive changes under new ownership in terms of its visual appeal and standards, the serious allegations raised in the other review cannot be ignored. These allegations pertain to potentially unethical and financially harmful business practices related to property sales within the park.
For local users considering Nehalem Bay Trailer Park for long-term RV living or as a potential mobile home community, it is strongly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence. This would include visiting the park in person to assess the environment and the layout, speaking with current residents to gain their perspectives on the community and management, and directly inquiring about all relevant policies, fees, and services offered. If considering purchasing a home within the park, it would be advisable to seek legal counsel to ensure all transactions are handled transparently and ethically.
In conclusion, Nehalem Bay Trailer Park is a mobile home community in Nehalem, Oregon, that is reportedly undergoing efforts to improve its appearance and standards under new ownership. However, a significant negative review raises serious concerns about the business practices of at least one individual associated with the park. For those searching for "rv parks near me" or long-term living options, Nehalem Bay Trailer Park might be a consideration, but it is crucial to approach it with caution and conduct thorough independent research before making any commitments.

Nehalem Bay Trailer Park Reviews
I know a few of those staying within the park. A few years ago the park was purchased by new owner who has been cleaning up the image of the park, issuing standards that need to be met to stay within the park. It looks nice, while it may be a bit crowded for me, to each their own.
Jul 24, 2016 · Jeremy Mulcahy-HillThe guy who runs this place is crooked. We tried to purchase a home here. Warren Peterson took a $6,000 deposit check from us. He said it was so he could take the house off the market. He did not, he continued to show the home, found a cash buyer, and sold the house out from under us right as the loan company was cutting a check. He also tried to steal an additional $3,000 from us, which he stated was non-refundable. Be careful when dealing with this crooked criminal.
Jun 02, 2018 · Chere FentonDid not like drunk people, as the were loud til after 3am, and nothing was done. Also no toilet paper in some stalls, and no paper towels, and some soap dispensers were out of soap. As well as some dogs off leash
Mar 13, 2018 · Glenda AndersonA very quiet and scenic place to stay...recently, the Shell station expanded into a bigger store area, so that's great for the permanent residents...the manger is an outstanding fellow who does his best to maintain community standards and such...the local co-op market in Manzanita makes getting essentials fairly easy...and it's close to some of the best views around...
May 16, 2017 · Jason GlynnStandard campsites with electric plug ins. and full hookups for rv's. Off season, hardly anyone around. Trails over dunes to beach. $31 for campsite. Boat ramp. Stables. Small landing strip. Yurts available.
