Porter RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Porter, Texas area, Porter RV Park, located at 21190 W Wallis Dr, Porter, TX 77365, USA, presents an option with notable affordability and inclusive electricity. You can reach them at (832) 995-7620 or via mobile at +1 832-995-7620 for inquiries about availability and rates. Based on recent customer feedback, Porter RV Park offers a compelling price point and excellent management but has limitations in terms of amenities and site conditions. Potential residents should carefully consider these aspects when making their decision.
The environment of Porter RV Park, based on the limited information, appears to be somewhat basic. One reviewer specifically mentions that "There is no pavement, so be prepared to walk on large, awkward rocks every day." This suggests that the grounds may be unpaved and potentially challenging to navigate on foot. For individuals with mobility issues or those preferring paved walkways, this could be a significant drawback when considering "RV parks near me." The lack of mention of landscaping or other environmental features suggests a more utilitarian setting rather than a resort-style atmosphere.
In terms of services, one of the primary advantages highlighted by a reviewer is the inclusion of electricity in the rental price. They state, "Best price around and electricity is included..." This can be a significant cost saving for RV owners, especially those staying long-term, as electricity expenses can often add up. However, the same reviewer also notes "very limited amenities," indicating that while the basic utility of electricity is covered, other services might be lacking compared to other "RV parks near me."
One specific amenity mentioned is on-site laundry, which was priced at $20 per month and reportedly "nearly always busy." This suggests that while laundry facilities are available, they may be in high demand, potentially leading to inconvenience for residents without their own washing machines. The reviewer who mentioned this was "glad we had our own washer to avoid the lines," highlighting a potential limitation of the shared laundry service.
The management of Porter RV Park receives overwhelmingly positive feedback in one of the reviews. The reviewer describes the management as "fantastic, however, incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind." This is a significant advantage, as responsive and helpful management can greatly enhance the living experience in any RV park. Knowing that the management is attentive to residents' needs and concerns can provide peace of mind for those seeking "RV parks near me" with reliable support.
The first review presents a concerning interaction with a staff member, alleging unprofessional behavior and potential discrimination. The reviewer describes a negative initial encounter in the office and claims that after a background check, which should have been clear, they received no response, suggesting the manager might have been biased due to what the reviewer had seen in the office. This account, if accurate, raises questions about the professionalism and fairness of certain staff members. Potential residents might want to inquire about the park's management policies and staff conduct when contacting Porter RV Park.
Regarding features, the lack of pavement has already been noted as a significant site condition. The reviews do not provide information about the size or type of RV sites (e.g., pull-through or back-in), the availability of water and sewer hookups, or other common features such as picnic tables or shade. These are essential details that potential residents typically consider when comparing "RV parks near me." It is crucial to inquire about these features directly with the park management to determine if they meet individual needs.
No specific promotional information beyond the inclusion of electricity in the price is mentioned in the reviews. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Porter, TX, should contact Porter RV Park directly to inquire about their current rental rates (daily, weekly, monthly), lease terms, security deposits, and any other potential fees. Understanding the full cost of staying at the park is essential for budget planning and comparison with other options in the area.
In conclusion, Porter RV Park offers an affordable option in Porter, Texas, with the notable benefit of including electricity in the rental price. The management is praised for being responsive, helpful, and kind, which can contribute positively to the resident experience. However, potential residents should be aware of the limited amenities and the unpaved, rocky ground conditions, which might be a drawback for some. Additionally, one review raises concerns about unprofessional staff behavior and potential bias. For local users seeking "RV parks near me," Porter RV Park presents a trade-off between affordability and management quality versus potentially less desirable site conditions and limited amenities. It is strongly recommended that prospective residents contact the park directly to gather detailed information about site availability, hookups, other amenities, and current pricing, and to address any concerns arising from the customer reviews before making a decision.

Jul 06, 2017 · Laura BowenNice quiet place for a family. We stayed here for a few months and loved it. Not a ton of fancy stuff but I like the grass field to play with my kids. Neighbors are quiet, some have dogs, and some smoke. I like going for walks in the neighborhood next door. The owner is on the property most days working on improvements. Just talk to him and he can accommodate most anything. Pretty close to grocery, walmart, post office, school, library, fast food, and everything else I needed.
Oct 08, 2016 · Laura OlsonAmazing community! Very quiet very friendly and welcoming environment...Theresa is an awesome manager, filled with love and very knowledgeable of Rvs for any newbies. The park is very clean. Hookups are easy to access. There is an onsite laundry center. They offer free wifi. I believe you are allowed 2 cars. The freeway (59) is 1 min away. Its near almost any store u can think of. Dog friendly. (depending on breed i believe) i have been here since august 2021 and i dont want to leave. You couldnt ask for more here. Words cant describe the feeling. IF YOURE LOOKING...STOP
Jan 16, 2022 · sirdonjohnson29Was a nice little park when first moved here, plenty of room, but with added spaces it's more crowded and had to move our trailer to a storage place, which was the reason we moved. Owner lives out of town now and repairs are practically nil....place stands in water and has mold growing, cant sit out side because the tables and chairs sink in the mud. Price.is reasonable but needs some major upkeep. And you never know if you are being told the were moved for repairs to our site it was a mud hole and before were able to move back someone else was in our site, without even talking to us about what worked for us to move back....now we are probably stuck in the mud hole site we were moved to for who know how long because of our jobs a.d busy schedules. #essentialworkers. Seems like long term renters here get screwed over.
