Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park Introduce
Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park, located at 1500 Bay Flat Rd, Bodega Bay, CA 94923, USA, offers a distinctive coastal RV experience that is a prime consideration for anyone searching for "RV parks near me" along the Northern California coast. This introduction aims to provide a comprehensive and objective overview of the park, drawing upon direct customer reviews and publicly available information to detail its environment, services, features, and specific promotional aspects, giving prospective visitors a clear understanding of what makes this destination unique.
The environment at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park is undoubtedly its most compelling feature. Directly situated "at the marina," guests are treated to "awe inspiring and relaxing" views of Bodega Bay. This waterfront setting provides a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility by the sea. The park boasts "nice wide RV spots," allowing for comfortable spacing between rigs and enhancing the sense of privacy. While one reviewer suggested paved pads and grass at each site to "help keep your RV clean from tracking in rock and dirt," they acknowledged that "the views and general upkeep of the facility makes up for that issue." This indicates that despite the unpaved surfaces, the overall cleanliness and scenic beauty are highly valued and contribute positively to the park's environment. The coastal location also offers easy access to the unique charm of Bodega Bay, with its maritime activities and fresh ocean air.
Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park provides a comprehensive range of services and features designed to ensure a comfortable stay for RVers. Most spots offer "full hook-ups," including electrical (30/50 amp service), water, and sewer connections, which are essential for a hassle-free RV experience. There are also "electric and water along the water" for certain sites, catering to specific preferences. A convenient "dump station on the way out" is available for guests. The park is noted for its "clean restrooms and showers," a critical amenity for any campground, ensuring comfort and hygiene for all visitors. The park offers various site types, including 12 waterfront RV sites with full hookups, 8 pull-through RV sites with full hookups, and 18 premium RV sites with full hookups, demonstrating its capacity for a diverse range of RVs and preferences. Additionally, there are 13 marina view non-hook-up RV sites for those who prefer a more rustic experience or don't require full amenities. It is important to note that the park does not accommodate tent sites, focusing solely on RVs.
Beyond the RV sites themselves, the park's integrated marina offers additional amenities that truly make it a unique destination. These include a boat launch, dry storage, and open slips, appealing to guests who wish to bring their boats or engage in marine activities. Guest docks are also available. For community use, there is a clubhouse, providing a space for gatherings or relaxation. A lend-out video and book library adds a touch of home comfort. The staff are consistently described as "very nice people" and "very friendly staff," contributing significantly to the positive guest experience. The park is also pet-friendly, with a stated charge of $3 per day for pets (maximum two per site), making it accessible for travelers with furry companions.
The location of Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park provides direct access to local attractions and dining, which serves as a major promotional point. Reviewers enthusiastically recommend local eateries, with a "must go" being "Ginochio’s Kitchen adjacent to the RV Resort and Marina," praised for its "Monkey bread and brisket." This proximity to delicious food options, including "chowder and fish and chips," enhances the overall vacation experience, allowing guests to easily immerse themselves in the local culinary scene. The park's "easy access to the road going to Spud Bay" further highlights its convenient location for exploring the wider Bodega Bay area.
Promotional information also includes the park's special consideration for First Responders, as it "proudly supports First Responders!!!" with a "Special thank you to Kelly." This gesture indicates a community-oriented approach and a welcoming environment for service personnel. The recurring sentiment from guests like "We genuinely enjoy coming here" and "We look forward to visiting here at least bi-annually" speaks volumes about the park's ability to create a consistently positive and memorable experience, fostering loyalty among its visitors.

Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park Reviews
RV Park is at the marina. Great location with nice wide rv spots. Full hook-up ups in most spots. Electric and water along the water with a dump station on the way out. Clean restrooms and showers. Easy access to the road going to Spud Bay. Very nice people here.
Jan 03, 2025 · Lemmie KleinWe have stayed at Bodega Bay RV Resort a couple times now. We genuinely enjoy coming here and an abundance of delicious places to eat and enjoy chowder and fish and chips. A “must go” is Ginochio’s Kitchen adjacent to the RV Resort and Marina. Their Monkey bread and brisket are our newest favorites there. The views at the RV Resort are awe inspiring and relaxing. The RV Resort is peaceful and quiet. The only suggestion I would have, or wish they would consider for the price you pay per night is; paved pads and grass at each site would help keep your RV clean from tracking in rock and dirt. However, the views and general upkeep of the facility makes up for that issue.Porto Bodega Bay RV Resort proudly supports First Responders!!! Special thank you to Kelly. We look forward to visiting here at least bi-annually.

Feb 11, 2025 · Bharat BailurAbsolutely loved Porto Bodega Marina RVPark. It was quiet and the views were spectacular. I loved being able to walk along the harbor marina and see the sea lions and bird life. The two restaurants were also great to have within walking distance... Highly recommend the Bacon Monkey Bread with drizzled caramel from Ginnichios! Is it a little on the pricey side? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes, imo! I loved having the open fire pit and spaces were more than adequate.Doggie friendly as well. So many great restaurants within a short driving distance. We will definitely return!
