Ridgeview Village Introduce
Welcome to Ridgeview Village, a mobile home park nestled in the charming city of Newberg, Oregon. Located at 301 E Columbia Dr, Newberg, OR 97132, USA, Ridgeview Village offers a distinct residential option for those seeking a long-term living arrangement within a community setting. For local users exploring 'RV parks near me' as a broader category for housing solutions, Ridgeview Village presents an alternative to traditional RV parks, focusing on permanent or semi-permanent residency within manufactured homes.
Ridgeview Village can be contacted at (971) 412-2122 or via mobile phone at +1 971-412-2122 for inquiries regarding space availability and community details. While not a typical RV park catering to short-term travelers, mobile home parks like Ridgeview Village offer a stable and often more affordable housing option for individuals and families looking to establish themselves in the Newberg area.
Based on available information, resident experiences at Ridgeview Village appear varied. One long-term resident of over 25 years speaks positively of the current management, describing the manager as "very nice and very accessible." This resident also highlights the cleanliness and quiet atmosphere of the park, noting an increase in home values within the community and space rent that is competitive with other parks in Newberg, ultimately being more affordable than renting elsewhere in the city. This perspective suggests a well-maintained environment and a sense of community that long-term residents appreciate.
However, it's important to acknowledge another review that presents a contrasting experience with a previous manager. This review details allegations of intrusive and disrespectful behavior, including unauthorized entry into backyards, taking pictures towards the inside of homes, photographing residents without consent, and issuing fines for other neighbors' pets. These are serious allegations that potential residents should be aware of. It's crucial to note that this review specifically mentions "Manager Christina Murphy," indicating that this experience may be related to a past management situation. The positive review referencing the "current manager" suggests a potential change in management and a more favorable experience for at least one long-term resident.
Considering these differing viewpoints, prospective residents are encouraged to conduct their own thorough inquiries to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current living environment and management practices at Ridgeview Village. Visiting the park, speaking with current residents (if possible), and directly communicating with the current management are recommended steps to form an informed decision.
From a broader perspective, mobile home parks like Ridgeview Village can offer several features and benefits for those seeking a more permanent housing solution than what is typically provided by short-term RV parks. These often include:
- Long-Term Residency: Unlike RV parks that primarily cater to temporary stays, mobile home parks are designed for individuals and families to live in their manufactured homes on a long-term basis.
- Community Living: Mobile home parks often foster a sense of community among residents, with opportunities for social interaction and neighborly support.
- Affordability: In many cases, living in a mobile home park can be a more affordable housing option compared to renting apartments or owning traditional single-family homes, particularly in terms of monthly space rent versus mortgage payments and property taxes.
- Stability: Long-term leases and established communities can provide a greater sense of stability compared to the transient nature of RV parks or the potential for lease changes in rental properties.
While specific amenities at Ridgeview Village are not detailed in the provided information, typical mobile home parks may offer features such as:
- Utilities: Hookups for essential utilities like water, sewer, electricity, and sometimes gas.
- Common Areas: Potential common spaces for residents, such as clubhouses, laundry facilities, or recreational areas. The presence and quality of these amenities can vary significantly between parks.
- Maintenance: Management may handle the upkeep of common areas and infrastructure, though residents are typically responsible for maintaining their own homes and lots.
For individuals searching within the 'RV parks near me' category who are open to considering long-term housing solutions beyond traditional recreational vehicle sites, exploring mobile home parks like Ridgeview Village can broaden their options. These communities offer a different style of living, focused on residential stability rather than short-term travel and recreation.
To gain a clearer picture of the current environment and services at Ridgeview Village, local users are strongly encouraged to:
- Contact the management directly at (971) 412-2122 or +1 971-412-2122. Inquire about current space availability, lease terms, community rules and regulations, and any amenities offered.
- Visit the property at 301 E Columbia Dr, Newberg, OR 97132, USA. Observe the overall condition of the park and its surroundings.
- If possible, speak with current residents. Their firsthand experiences can provide valuable insights into the community atmosphere and management practices.
- Inquire about any recent changes in management or policies. This can help understand the context of past reviews and the current state of the park.
While the provided reviews offer a glimpse into past and potentially present experiences, it is essential for prospective residents to conduct their own due diligence to determine if Ridgeview Village aligns with their individual needs and preferences for long-term living in Newberg, Oregon. Mobile home parks can be a valuable part of the local housing landscape, offering a unique blend of community and affordability. By taking the initiative to gather current information, interested individuals can make a well-informed decision about whether Ridgeview Village is the right place for them to call home.

Ridgeview Village Reviews
Manager Christina Murphy is a very intrusive/ disrespectful manager. she will not give 24 hour notice that she will go in your backyard and take pictures. she has been caught taking pictures with camera pointed towards the inside of the house though the window. she will take pictures of you without your consent and will run away when caught. she will fine you for animals that belong to other neighbors and will try to make false citations to try to evict you. i smell a lawsuit soon.
Jan 28, 2021 · Steven VI have lived in this park for over 25 years. The current manager is very nice and very accessible. The park is clean and very quiet. The homes here are worth more now than they have ever been since I bought my home. The space rent is comparable to other parks in town...Still much cheaper than renting anywhere in Newberg!
Jul 18, 2022 · Bill BrennerIf I could rate no stars I would. Space rent is way too high when you can be at a nicer park for literally half the price. You don't get any type of accommodations. The maintenance guy tells everyone everyone elses business and trys to act like hes the park manager. You cant do anything on your own property without asking permission first. The park manager doesnt answer the phone or return phone calls even if you need help. Literally over 3 months I couldn't get ahold of someone cuz I had to move out of a bad situation. They are literally useless. I warn you, do not live here. That's if you can even get ahold of someone to move in. I lived here for 8months and I regret it. They tried to tell me I couldn't sell my own home to someone who already lived in the park and tried to get involved 2 months after the sale was completed. They tired to say that I still owed rent even know I gave a 45 day notice and paid rent for time that I wasnt even there due to not being able to get ahold of the park manager. I warn you, don't do it. Unless you have enough money to have a lawyer involved upon move out.
