Rim Country Estates Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Payson, Arizona area that might also accommodate mobile homes for longer-term stays? Rim Country Estates, located at 300 W Bonita St #31, Payson, AZ 85541, USA, offers a residential setting in the scenic Rim Country. You can contact them at (928) 985-2168 or +1 928-985-2168 for inquiries. While the platform category is "RV parks near me," it's important to understand that Rim Country Estates primarily functions as a mobile home park, which may offer long-term residency options suitable for some RV owners looking for an extended stay environment.
One of the unique features of Rim Country Estates, as highlighted by a resident, is the presence of elk frequently wandering around the property. This offers a special connection with the local wildlife and adds to the natural ambiance of the community. For nature enthusiasts, the opportunity to observe these majestic animals in their natural habitat could be a significant draw.
However, it is crucial to present a balanced and objective introduction based on all available feedback. One recent review paints a concerning picture of the living conditions and management at Rim Country Estates. This resident describes it as a "horrible place to live," citing several significant issues that potential residents should be aware of.
The review raises serious concerns about the on-site manager's capabilities, suggesting a lack of effectiveness in their role. Furthermore, there are alarming allegations regarding the water supply. While water is supposedly included with the rent, the reviewer states that residents are "lucky if you ever have any." When water is available, it is described as having a "rancid smell," raising significant concerns about its safety for drinking, bathing, and dishwashing. These are critical habitability issues that would undoubtedly impact the quality of life for residents.
In addition to the water problems, the review also warns against using the on-site laundry facilities. According to this resident, using the laundry mat carries a "risk" of clothes being ruined or smelling worse after washing. This suggests potential problems with the washing machines or dryers, which could be a significant inconvenience for residents who rely on these facilities.
The reviewer concludes by stating that, considering the rent paid (which may vary depending on the specific space), Rim Country Estates is "definitely the worst park in town." This strong condemnation, based on the issues with management, water supply, and laundry facilities, should be taken seriously by anyone considering residing at this location.
Given this starkly contrasting feedback – the positive mention of elk sightings versus the severe concerns about living conditions and management – it is essential for potential residents to conduct thorough due diligence before making any decisions about Rim Country Estates. While the natural environment and wildlife may be appealing to some, the reported issues with essential utilities and management could significantly outweigh these benefits.
As a platform focusing on "RV parks near me," it is important to note that while Rim Country Estates is listed at the provided address and may accommodate some RVs for long-term stays, its primary function appears to be that of a mobile home park. The services and amenities typically associated with short-term RV parks might differ significantly from those offered in a mobile home park setting geared towards longer-term or permanent residents.
Therefore, if you are an RVer looking for a short-term stay with typical RV park amenities, Rim Country Estates might not be the most suitable option based on the available information, which primarily focuses on the experiences of mobile home residents. However, if you are seeking a long-term residential option for your RV in the Payson area and are drawn to the possibility of wildlife encounters, you might still consider investigating further. In this case, it would be crucial to directly contact the management at (928) 985-2168 or +1 928-985-2168 to inquire specifically about RV accommodations, long-term rates, and to seek clarification on the issues raised in the negative review.
It would be prudent to ask detailed questions about the water quality and reliability, the condition of the laundry facilities, and the responsiveness of the on-site management to resident concerns. Visiting the property in person, if possible, could also provide valuable insights into the actual living conditions and the overall environment of Rim Country Estates. Speaking with current residents (if feasible) could offer additional perspectives beyond the limited information available in the online reviews.
In conclusion, Rim Country Estates in Payson, Arizona, offers a unique setting with the potential for wildlife sightings. However, significant concerns have been raised by at least one resident regarding the management and essential services such as water quality and laundry facilities. Potential residents, especially those considering a long-term stay in their RV, should carefully weigh the potential benefits against the reported drawbacks and conduct thorough research before making a decision. Contacting the management directly and, if possible, visiting the property are highly recommended steps in this process.

Rim Country Estates Reviews
Horrible place to live, the on-site manager is less than capable of doing his job or at least doing it correctly. Water is supposed to be included but you’re lucky if you ever have any and don’t forget the rancid smell when you do have it, definitely not safe to drink and worry some to bathe or do dishes in, if you wash your clothing at the on-site laundry mat be prepared to risk your clothes being ruined, or at least smelling worse than when they went in. All in all for the rent that you pay (depending on which space you have) definitely the worst park in town
