Rincon Country East RV Resort Introduce
For those navigating the landscape of "RV parks near me" in Tucson, Arizona, Rincon Country East RV Resort stands as a prominent and often highly-regarded option. Located at 8989 E Escalante Rd, Tucson, AZ 85730, USA, this resort caters primarily to a 55+ community, offering a rich array of amenities and a vibrant social environment that often makes it a popular choice for snowbirds and long-term residents alike. However, prospective visitors and especially buyers should also consider the economic aspects and certain physical characteristics of the park.
The environment at Rincon Country East RV Resort is consistently praised for its beauty, security, and peaceful ambiance. Reviews frequently highlight the "Beautiful, friendly, secure, peaceful" atmosphere. The grounds are meticulously manicured, featuring palm trees and flowers that contribute to a resort-like aesthetic. The resort is designed to be quiet, providing a serene escape for its residents, with one camper noting, "The level of silence... is a bit of heaven." This peaceful environment is particularly appealing to those seeking relaxation and a break from urban noise. The resort is described as a "gated community," further enhancing the sense of security and controlled access, which is a significant draw for many RV travelers and residents.
Rincon Country East RV Resort distinguishes itself with its extensive list of services and features, designed to cater to a diverse range of interests. The resort boasts a wealth of amenities, including a heated swimming pool and hot tub, fitness center, clubhouse, library, and laundry facilities. For active residents, there are opportunities for pickleball, basketball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and billiards. Beyond physical recreation, the resort offers numerous social and creative outlets, with dedicated craft rooms, woodworking and pottery shops, and various classes. A full-time activity director organizes a packed calendar of events, especially during the high season from October through April, ranging from pancake breakfasts and coffee gatherings to dances, themed parties, informative seminars, and excursions to local attractions. This comprehensive activity program fosters a strong sense of community and ensures residents have ample opportunities for engagement and entertainment. The resort also provides essential services like full hookups (30/50 amp), Wi-Fi, restrooms, showers, and a new pet wash, making it very accommodating for various RV setups and pet owners.
While the resort offers RV sites, it also prominently features park models for sale and rent, catering to those who desire a more permanent or seasonal home without the mobility of an RV. These park models are modern and well-appointed, providing a comfortable alternative for long-term stays. The "top-notch" service mentioned in reviews extends to the staff and overall management, who are described as welcoming and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for guests.
However, despite its many attractive features, there are important considerations for anyone looking at Rincon Country East RV Resort, particularly for those considering purchasing a park model or a long-term stay. One significant concern raised by a reviewer relates to the financial aspect of ownership: "DO NOT CONSIDER BUYING HERE! They say that the resort fees go up every year. Supposedly based on inflation yet one must ask, 'Does your income go up every year?'" This highlights a crucial point about the escalating costs associated with owning a spot in the resort. While daily and weekly RV rates often include utilities, longer-term and annual rates for RV sites, and particularly resort fees for park model owners, may exclude electricity and other costs, with rates subject to annual increases. Prospective buyers should thoroughly investigate the breakdown of all fees, including resort fees, HOA dues, and any potential increases, to understand the true long-term financial commitment. The sentiment expressed underscores a broader concern about the rising cost of living, even in resort communities.
Another point of contention is the density of the living spaces. A review notes, "Too the homes in here are WAY to close together. A Person should consider this after watching the California wildfires!!" This raises a valid concern about lot spacing, particularly for those accustomed to more expansive or private RV sites. While the resort's ability to accommodate many sites (460 RV sites) contributes to its vibrant community, it can also mean closer quarters than some might prefer. This density, combined with the presence of numerous park models, suggests a more urbanized resort environment rather than a sprawling, natural campground, which is a factor for those prioritizing spaciousness and distance from neighbors.
For those searching "RV parks near me" and valuing a highly amenitized, secure, and socially active 55+ community, Rincon Country East RV Resort remains a strong contender. Its wide range of activities, beautiful grounds, and commitment to security are significant draws. However, potential buyers and long-term residents must exercise due diligence regarding the financial implications of annual fee increases and carefully assess whether the lot density aligns with their personal preferences for space and privacy. The resort's phone numbers, (520) 886-8431 and +1 520-886-8431, are the primary points of contact for detailed inquiries about rates, availability, and clarification on all associated fees and conditions, which is highly recommended before committing to a stay or purchase.

Rincon Country East RV Resort Reviews
Beautiful, friendly, secure, peaceful. We stayed here about a week using it as a base camp for our day trips. Service was top notch. Only drawback was the placement of a palm tree in the center of each lot which made it difficult to back in a camper trailer.

NOT usually. This economy bucks an is going to be truly strapping alot of people with the way everything goes up.Too the homes in here are WAY to close together. A Person should consider this after watching the California wildfires!! 👀😢💯
Jan 29, 2025 · Lori LouMy parents live here. It's not a place for tourist's, it's an actual gated community. Front and only entrance/exit has a guard posted 24/7. All guests must sign in and guard must be notified by whomever the guest is visiting ahead of time. So that's awesome. It's quiet, great people live here, its just really nice. There's an awesome community center and they have classes or clubs, a library, billiards, a gym, 2 pools, pickle ball, horseshoes and tons of other activities. On-site community laundry room. They have a newsletter/magazine even. Staff is great, very attentive. The place is immaculate, grounds are well manicured & clean 100% of the time. My parents love it here, they've never even hinted about having any issues. I'm assuming it's great for snow birds and that's why it's labeled as a resort style deal. But it is an actual gated neighborhood. Just fyi🙃

Apr 02, 2025 · Luann DunbarCan’t begin to thank Rachel & the staff at this resort. After some miscommunication about location ( East vs West) Rachel was able to handle both the Cancel and booking with a smile, couldn’t be more impressed.Location is nice, tucked away along a wash with access to biking paths and hiking within short drive, plenty of shopping and such conveniently located close by.Resort is on smallish side with nice lots it’s mix of RV & Park model. All the amenities at the park are clean and well maintained, pool area is nice and we did get a couple pool days in during week stay.Crowd is friendly, lots of activities and people doing them, we will be staying a moth next year and may get involved. We almost feel we may have been guided back to Rincon after a $#*§€£} experience at at another ( I won’t mention the place but you can check our reviews, it sticks out, this is the ANTI that place😂😂) we spent time at the West location in 2017.Friendly resort, friendly staff, great location in a area we love…We will circle back next year but it’s looking like home.
