Rivers West RV Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Myrtle Creek, Oregon area, Rivers West RV Park, located at 333 Ruckles Dr, Myrtle Creek, OR 97457, USA, offers a compelling option for both short visits and long-term living. Based on the available customer reviews, this RV park is praised for its beauty, cleanliness, and convenient location, particularly its proximity to the river and the freeway.
The environment at Rivers West RV Park is frequently described as beautiful and well-cared for. Its location alongside the river is a significant highlight, with one long-term resident of three years noting the frequent sightings of local wildlife such as eagles, foxes, otters, and various waterfowl. This suggests a picturesque setting where nature enthusiasts can enjoy observing the local fauna. The park is also explicitly mentioned as being very dog-friendly, making it an attractive choice for RVers traveling with pets.
Another reviewer, who considers it a good place for both short and long-term stays, echoes the sentiment that the park is kept clean and orderly. This indicates a commitment to maintaining a pleasant living environment for all guests. The enforcement of rules is also mentioned, but described as fair, suggesting a structured yet reasonable approach to park management that contributes to the overall orderliness and potentially the quiet atmosphere noted by the long-term resident.
One aspect of the environment that receives a more nuanced assessment is the park's proximity to the I-5 freeway and a nearby railroad track across the river. While the location is acknowledged as convenient with easy freeway access and not being too far from town, one reviewer notes that the traffic noise from the I-5 and the occasional train (5 or 6 times a day) creates a noticeable sound. However, this reviewer ultimately feels that the worthwhile river view compensates for this noise. The long-term resident also mentions the freeway being right there but states that the noise isn't bad, suggesting that while present, it may not be overly disruptive for all guests.
In terms of services, Rivers West RV Park appears to prioritize cleanliness and orderliness, as highlighted by multiple reviewers. While the specific amenities are not exhaustively listed, the presence of long-term residents suggests that essential services such as water, electricity, and sewer hookups are provided. The mention of a well-cared-for environment implies that grounds maintenance is a regular service. The dog-friendly nature of the park also suggests the potential availability of pet-related amenities, though not explicitly detailed.
Features of Rivers West RV Park include its beautiful riverfront location, which provides opportunities for scenic views and wildlife observation. The easy access to the I-5 freeway is a significant feature for travelers looking for convenience. The park's reputation for being clean and orderly, along with the fair enforcement of rules, suggests a well-managed environment. Its dog-friendly policy is another key feature that caters to a specific segment of the RVing community. The fact that a four-month intended stay turned into a three-year residency for one reviewer speaks volumes about the positive aspects and suitability of the park for long-term living.

Rivers West RV Park Reviews
Having fun here. What was intended to be a 4 month stay has turned into a 3 year stay. It is beautiful well cared for, and most people are nice. We like that is is easy access to the freeway and not to far from town. Thought the freeway is right there the noise isn't bad. The river is amazing, we often see eagles, foxes, otters, and other water fowl. Its also a very dog friendly park.
Oct 21, 2024 · S RThis is a good place to stay or live long-term. The park is kept clean and orderly. The rules are enforced but fair.4 stars mainly the location although convenient and quiet traffic wize the i-5 and rr track accross the river create a noticeable nose. More so the i-5 than the 5 or 6 trains a day do.But I feel it's worthwhile for the river view.
Dec 03, 2022 · M HDecent park, we enjoyed it being right on the river. Super quiet. Only thing not enjoyed was that it was over run by cats, I’m guessing stray cats or cats someone just dump and now everyone in the park feeds them? We were put under a tree and one the cats kept climbing the tree and jumping on top of our RV. Emailed management but no response to that email.Other than the cats my only complaint would be the laundry room. The washers are a bit run down, some a rusted in some spots so I wish that they had newer cleaner washers. The dryers also take forever to dry some times takes a few cycles even for a small to medium load.Park is mostly older long term people.
Jul 21, 2024 · Shakira BlalockThe monthly tenants are not allowed to use their water to clean their fifth wheel.( Which has to be done , at least, for weatherization every year before winter) Instead they will charge you to do it for you. You are not allowed to water your plants, rinse your car either....No outside water use. Ridiculous Electric and internet are not included in space rent.
Oct 14, 2024 · Misty RiderI would never stay here. The park so called manger will yell at you. No communication like a adult. The only person that is half way decent is the landscaper. There rules are extremely ridiculous and like I said if u break the rules, you will get yelled at. Horrible feeling to walk in eggshells. Would keep driving if I were you.
