Rosemount Woods Introduce
For individuals and families exploring options under "RV Parks Near Me" in the Rosemount, Minnesota area, Rosemount Woods is a manufactured home community located at 13925 Bunratty Ave, Rosemount, MN 55068, USA. The environment at Rosemount Woods, as described by recent resident reviews, presents a challenging picture primarily due to management's impact on the living experience. While residents report "no issues with my neighbors," suggesting positive interpersonal relationships within the community, the overall park environment is severely impacted by management policies and maintenance. A significant concern is the removal of "community space for additional homes but in three years have not added any homes." This includes the elimination of "the field where kids used to play and slide in the winter" and "the quiet park where adults and families would picnic," along with a "removed storage area." This indicates a diminishing amount of shared recreational and practical space for residents, which negatively impacts the quality of the communal environment. Furthermore, the physical upkeep of the park is inconsistent, with roads being "hit or miss in the winter getting the roads cleaned." There's also a serious "safety issues with broken fence over a retaining wall for two+ years," pointing to neglected structural maintenance that poses a direct hazard to residents. The environment is also becoming more restrictive, with new rules banning "all pools and trampolines" as of January 1st, 2024, and disallowing "Outdoor kids toys and bikes... to be out and visible." This accumulation of restrictions contributes to a less family-friendly and more controlled outdoor living environment.
In terms of services, the feedback from residents indicates significant dissatisfaction, with the primary sentiment being that it is "an awful place to live simply because of the management!" This strong statement highlights a critical breakdown in service delivery and resident relations. Specific issues include:
- Miscommunication and False Claims: A park employee "falsely claimed that we weren't allowed to walk our dogs inside the park," despite it supposedly being a "dog friendly community." This points to inconsistent information and potentially discriminatory enforcement of rules, particularly regarding pet policies.
- Aggressive Communication and Favoritism: Management is accused of speaking "aggressively to tenants" and appearing to "favor some tenants over others." This creates an environment of unfairness and hostility, undermining trust and open communication.
- Dismissal of Concerns and Harassment: Residents report that management "will dismiss your concerns and harass you over small, petty things." This indicates a lack of responsiveness to legitimate issues and a punitive approach to minor infractions, rather than supportive management.
- Lack of Improvements vs. Rising Costs: Despite lot rent going up "twice since moving in," residents state that "improvements are lacking." This disconnect between increasing costs and stagnant or declining service quality is a major point of contention.
- Inconsistent Maintenance Services: The "hit or miss" snow removal and the prolonged neglect of the broken fence demonstrate inconsistent and inadequate maintenance services, directly impacting safety and convenience for residents.
Key features of Rosemount Woods, as described by residents, are largely concerning:
- Highly Restrictive Rules: A prominent feature is the continuous imposition of new rules restricting outdoor activities and personal property, such as the ban on pools, trampolines, visible outdoor kids' toys, and bikes. This significantly limits residents' ability to utilize their own lots and enjoy outdoor family life.
- Eroding Community Amenities: The removal of communal spaces like the children's field, picnic park, and storage area without replacement is a defining feature, indicating a loss of shared resources vital for community enjoyment and function.
- Rising Lot Rent with Poor Value: Lot rent has increased significantly ("twice since moving in"), yet residents perceive a lack of corresponding improvements in park services or facilities. This indicates poor value for money.
- Problematic Management Practices: The management's perceived aggressive communication, favoritism, dismissal of concerns, and harassment are central features of the resident experience, creating a difficult living environment.
- Inconsistent Maintenance: Features include unreliable snow removal and long-standing safety hazards like the broken fence, reflecting a general lack of consistent property maintenance.
- Dog Policy Concerns: While claiming to be dog-friendly, specific incidents suggest that pet policies may be enforced inconsistently or in a discriminatory manner, particularly regarding dog size and breed.
For promotional information, based purely on the provided resident reviews, Rosemount Woods faces substantial challenges in presenting itself positively. Any ethical promotion would need to directly address or be heavily qualified by the negative feedback. Without a significant and demonstrable change in management practices and park conditions, a conventional promotional strategy would be difficult to formulate. If the park were to embark on improvements, future promotional efforts would need to focus on transparently showcasing those changes, such as new management policies, actual infrastructure repairs, restoration or creation of community spaces, and a clear, fair approach to resident relations. However, based on the current feedback, a cautionary approach for anyone searching on "RV Parks Near Me" and considering this community is highly advised, suggesting thorough personal investigation beyond any promotional claims.
An objective introduction based on the provided customer feedback paints a concerning picture of Rosemount Woods Manufactured Home Community. While neighborly relations appear positive, the overwhelming sentiment from residents is one of significant dissatisfaction with management. Key issues include escalating lot rent without corresponding improvements, the continuous removal of essential community spaces (like play areas and picnic spots) for undeveloped lots, and a pattern of aggressive communication, perceived favoritism, and dismissal of resident concerns from management. Maintenance services, particularly road clearing in winter and addressing safety hazards like the broken fence, are reported as inconsistent and inadequate. Furthermore, new restrictive rules regarding outdoor items and ambiguous pet policies add to the frustration. The advice from a long-term resident to "Do not move in!" serves as a strong warning. For anyone searching for "RV Parks Near Me" and considering a long-term manufactured home in Rosemount, MN, Rosemount Woods, based on this feedback, appears to present significant challenges related to management, park maintenance, amenity loss, and overall quality of life. Prospective residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, conduct extensive personal due diligence, and potentially speak with current residents directly to verify the prevailing conditions and management practices before making any commitments.

Rosemount Woods Reviews
This is an awful place to live simply because of the management! I've had no issues with my neighbors but the park makes it impossible to enjoy living here. After living here for a year and a half, a park employee falsely claimed that we weren't allowed to walk our dogs inside the park. It is a dog friendly community (or so they claim) I expect it had more to do with my dog's size and breed, although they have no restrictions and knew we had him moving in. Management appears to favor some tenants over others and speaks aggressively to tenants. They have continued to restrict what we are allowed to do in our yards. As of January 1st 2024, no pools or trampolines allowed. Outdoor kids toys and bikes are not allowed to be out and visible. Our lot rent has gone up twice since moving in but improvements are lacking. They will dismiss your concerns and harass you over small, petty things. They are hit or miss in the winter getting the roads cleaned. Do not move in!
Jul 29, 2024 · Sheryl SchmidtPark continues to remove community space for additional homes but in three years have not added any homes. Removed the field where kids used to play and slide in the winter. Removed the quiet park where adults and families would picnic. All for homes that have not been brought in. Removed storage area. Recently banned all pools and trampolines. Safety issues with broken fence over a retaining wall for two+ years.
Jul 29, 2024 · Troy AyersTerrible park management! Extremely high lot rent with zero perks! They don't maintain the park. Street lights do not get turned on at night because they're too cheap to pay for it. Can't have anything in your yard! Snow removal is always hours and at times days after it snows. Cats everywhere outside that people don't take care of. The list goes on for days!
Jul 29, 2024 · Amber WaldFalse advertising of the park.Manager is a narcissist and sexist. Will try to hound the female of the house but never attack the male. “Well maintained basketball court” does not meet what most would consider maintained at all. Contaminated soil that they deny but also acknowledge…Park still advertises RV storage but in fact does not offer that. Pool isn’t on site with plenty of room for one. (I think the soil is preventing any further building?)Majority of the people in the park are amazing. It’s really just terrible management from a guy whose not even on site 🤣🤦🏼♀️Rent hike EVERY year.
Jun 02, 2024 · Megan FrameI have lived here for 8 years now and this place sucks. Yes i have had great times here with my family but i wouldnt suggest living here. They over charge you on your lot rent and with the money you pay for lot rent here is the equivalent price for a better house. This place is fine for temporary living but I would not suggest full-time living here. The best part about living here though is some of the people most of the people in this neighborhood are very nice and most of us stick up for each other whenever someone's in need. But i really wouldnt want to live here anymore if i could pay for a better house😊
