I have nothing but excellent things to say about this place. The people were fantastic, so helpful and nice. The park is so clean and safe. Excellent location close to the Crater of Diamonds. They held a gemstone glow in the dark gem hunt for the kids. My daughter loved it!! Will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend!!
May 05, 2025 · Brandon ArmstrongThis is a quiet older site that is being brought to modern standards. The location is near Crater of Diamonds State Park, and the staff will help you learn to find diamonds. They also have equipment to loan if you stay two or more nights. The facilities show their age but were clean and in working order. The wifi was inoperable when we stayed, and there was a crew working on extending the system. The parking spots were gravel, but level, and all utilities worked well. The park was adequate, and I expect it will become nicer as time goes on.
Apr 26, 2025 · David KnightLove this place!!! Sites are well maintained and bathouses are a little old, but clean and the showers get hot. The best part is the customer service. Sarah does an amazing job making sure you have what you need and feel like you are a friend and not just a guest. Your safety and comfort are never in question. Will do my best to get back here in the coming years.
May 01, 2025 · Tracy FosterWe stayed at the park for two weeks, and the location was great! We were just a mile from the Crater of Diamonds State Park and not too far from Hot Springs National Park! It snowed most of our stay, so we could only really go to the crater for a little bit before we left, but the park was very quiet, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating! If you stay for a couple of days, the park will let you borrow their diamond mining equipment, which was really nice! Also, there were laundry facilities and bathrooms on site; we personally didn't need to use them, but it's great that it's an option. It's outside a very small town, so if you need to go to Walmart or grab some food, you'll have to drive to the next town over, which is about 20 minutes, but the views during the drive are really pretty! We did end up losing power for a couple of hours, and they immediately let us know what was going on. They checked in on us during the snow and provided tips to avoid having our water freeze. Super kind and we really enjoyed our time here!
Feb 08, 2025 · anika bakershower stall sitting next to a toilet, is the "bathhouse". two total for the whole park with signs saying to hurry in case someone needs to use the bathroom. for a patk that exists because people dig in mud and dirt, this is absolutely the last situation needed. if your looking for a soot to setup an rv and play campong, sure. if your looking for want decent facilities because your hevaily engaged in diamond digging, want hot showers, shaves, teeth brushing, without feeling like you have to rush after 8 hours of back breaking work, then avoid this place. thats assuming if your not waiting for the kids to finish dumping next to your shower and sink.having a guy sit outside all the time right next to the door, is a great bonus for lack of privacy.oh and everyone says, there is no wifi
