Serendipity Brownsville's Venue, Resort, and RV Park Introduce
Welcome, local adventurers and travelers! If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Brownsville, Tennessee area, Serendipity Brownsville's Venue, Resort, and RV Park presents itself as a potential option for your next getaway. Located at 1249 Country Club Rd, Brownsville, TN 38012, USA, this RV park aims to offer a blend of retreat and convenience for those exploring the region with their recreational vehicles.
Serendipity Brownsville can be reached by phone at (731) 585-0268 or via mobile at +1 731-585-0268. While online booking is managed through 'Newbook', it's always a good idea to call and gather the most up-to-date information directly from the management.
Based on available feedback, the experience at Serendipity Brownsville appears to be varied. One recent visitor described it as a "wonderful retreat" with "beautiful and very well-kept grounds." They also highlighted the presence of a "fun bar and grill roadhouse style," suggesting an on-site amenity for dining and entertainment. This positive review paints a picture of a serene environment that prioritizes aesthetics and offers social opportunities.
However, another recent review presents a contrasting perspective, outlining several concerns that potential visitors should be aware of. This feedback mentions issues with the condition of the infrastructure, specifically noting that "what little asphalt there is, is heavily cracked," and that "all sites are dirt mixed with gravel." These are important considerations for RV owners who value level and stable parking surfaces.
The second review also raises concerns about after-hours support. The guest reported calling three times with no response and receiving a missed call without identification or a message. This lack of immediate assistance outside of regular hours could be a crucial factor for travelers who might arrive late or encounter issues during the night.
Furthermore, the review details an experience of being assigned a different site than where they initially parked upon arrival due to the lack of on-site staff at night. While an apology was offered, the need to relocate the RV the following day could be inconvenient. This situation underscores the importance of clear communication and potentially confirming site assignments prior to arrival, if possible.
The cancellation policy is also mentioned, stating "7 days prior to our camp night," and highlighting that no refund was issued for a same-day reservation. Understanding the specific terms and conditions of booking, especially regarding cancellations and modifications, is always advisable when making reservations at any RV park.
The review also points out potential discrepancies in pricing and fee transparency when using the 'Newbook' online booking system. The guest noted that the initial quoted price of $54.88 did not include a $5.49 online booking fee per night, nor did it disclose a price increase to $71.34 for Friday and Saturday nights. This lack of upfront clarity regarding all applicable charges is something prospective guests should be mindful of and inquire about during the booking process.
Finally, a minor detail mentioned was the condition of a fire pit, which reportedly had "plants growing in it as well as trash." While seemingly small, this observation could indicate a lack of thorough maintenance in certain areas of the campground.
Considering these contrasting experiences, local RV enthusiasts looking for "RV parks near me" should weigh the potential benefits, such as the reported beautiful grounds and the presence of a bar and grill, against the mentioned drawbacks concerning site conditions, after-hours support, booking transparency, and general maintenance. It is recommended to contact Serendipity Brownsville directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about current site availability, specific amenities, detailed pricing (including any additional fees and weekend rates), and their policies regarding after-hours assistance and cancellations. Asking for recent photos of the RV sites and common areas might also provide a clearer picture of the current conditions.
As a local option within the "RV parks near me" category, Serendipity Brownsville's Venue, Resort, and RV Park offers a location in Brownsville, TN. For those seeking a local RV experience, it presents a choice that warrants further investigation based on your individual needs and priorities. Took our travel trailer there. Wonderful retreat with a fun bar and grill roadhouse style. Grounds were beautiful and very well kept, place was quiet and clean. Hope we can come back someday!
Apr 19, 2025 · Joe NyeNever again. There are many reasons not to stay at this RV campsite.- what little asphalt there is, is heavily cracked.- All sites are dirt mixed with gravel.- no one is there after hours. We called 3 times and no one picked up. I did have a missed call with no identification. No message was left so I expect it to be spam.- since we could not reach anyone we parked in the first site we found that was long enough for our rig. The next day someone came and apologized but told us we were assigned to another spot and would need to move.- the cancellation policy is 7 days prior to our camp night. We made the reservation the same day so no refund.- campground uses 'Newbook' online booking company for reservations. When I made our reservation it was priced at $54.88. It did not identify the $5.49 online booking fee each night. And, it did not identify the price increase for Friday and Saturday at $71.34 each night.- a minor detail, the fire pit had plants growing in it as well as trash. The campground is not what I excepted for the price especially since this is not the busy season.
Sep 12, 2024 · Maggie B.Recently camped here because we were looking for new places for a quick weekend trip. Workers were very nice and accommodating. That's were the pros ended. This campground is mostly full time workers living. The way the full timers run down the campground curb appeal shouldn't be allowed. But hey it's clearly campgrounds bread and butter.Roads were practically non existent. We have a 35.5 5th wheel that could barely keep wheels on what's left of paving. Campsites are gravel. "Grass" is all weeds and not groomed. It is priced like a resort at $70 per nite all in. In my opinion should have been no more than $25 and that's only because of full hook ups including 50 Amp and sewer. We won't go back.
Apr 29, 2025 · Melissa CastlemanSuch a beautiful getaway from the city! We’ve been here several times to play disc golf and we enjoyed our driest time camping out here. It is well kept and everything you need is right there. The water park is a blast and the disc golf course is great! My only complaint is that there aren’t many trash cans around the course. Just one on hole 4. Other than that, everything is perfect!
May 31, 2022 · Kaitlyn GreerWe have stayed at serendipity on numerous occasions and have also been there several times to eat at the restaurant. The yurt camping experience was very fun and relaxing. Eating at the dip restaurant was amazing. The food and customer service was excellent. This is one of our all-time favorite places to go. We even took our kids there this summer to enjoy the inflatable water park in which they had a blast. My wife and I went there for our 10 year anniversary. I had reached out to Daphne about two or three weeks before our anniversary to make a reservation. She was very accommodating, she even noticed that there were some bad weather coming in on the night of our reservation and suggested moving it to a better date. Daphne and Rob are just amazing people that have put their heart and soul into this little gem in Brownsville!
