Shady Rest Mobile Plaza Introduce
Welcome to Shady Rest Mobile Plaza, located at 3612 E Shod St, Bay City, MI 48706, USA. For those in the Bay City area searching for 'RV parks near me' or considering long-term residential options, Shady Rest Mobile Plaza offers a mobile home community. Based on the available feedback, it presents an option for those seeking a place to live, though some areas for improvement have been noted by its residents.
Regarding the environment of Shady Rest Mobile Plaza, one significant concern raised by a resident pertains to the condition of the roads within the plaza. The review specifically mentions the state of the blacktop, highlighting the presence of holes. The resident suggests that while a complete overhaul might not be necessary, patching these holes would represent a minimal investment that could significantly enhance both the quality of life for residents and the overall appearance of the mobile home park. This indicates that the infrastructure of the community, particularly the roadways, may be an area that prospective residents should assess.
In terms of services and features, the feedback provides insights into several aspects. One resident mentions that the disrepair of the roads seems to correlate with a lack of enforcement regarding clean home areas. Additionally, they point out the absence of yard waste pickup and a limitation imposed by the trash company, which only collects waste placed inside cans. These comments suggest potential limitations in the services offered concerning community upkeep and waste management. It's important for prospective residents to understand the scope of services provided.
Another crucial point raised by a resident concerns the process of paying rent. According to the review, the management no longer accepts checks left in a drop box, requiring residents to pay with a card when the office manager is present. The reviewer notes that the office manager appears to have variable hours, which can make timely rent payment inconvenient. This change in payment policy and the perceived inflexibility could be a factor for potential residents to consider regarding the ease of managing their financial obligations related to living in the plaza.
Considering the category 'RV parks near me,' it is important to clarify that Shady Rest Mobile Plaza appears to function primarily as a mobile home park catering to longer-term residents in manufactured homes rather than offering short-term RV parking typically associated with recreational vehicle parks. While some mobile home parks might accommodate RVs for extended stays, the primary focus here seems to be on providing residential lots for mobile homes. Therefore, if you are specifically looking for short-term RV facilities, you might need to explore other options in the Bay City area that are explicitly designated as RV parks.
In summary, Shady Rest Mobile Plaza in Bay City, MI, offers a residential community for mobile homes. Resident feedback highlights areas such as the condition of the roads, waste management, and the rent payment process as potential points of consideration for those interested in living there. While the park provides a place to reside, it's advisable for prospective residents to weigh these concerns against their own priorities and needs. The provided phone number, (989) 778-1040 or +1 989-778-1040, can be used to contact the management directly for more detailed and up-to-date information.
To make an informed decision, it is recommended that interested individuals reach out to the management of Shady Rest Mobile Plaza to inquire about current conditions, services offered, and any upcoming improvements. A visit to the property could also provide a firsthand perspective on the environment and the community. While the online reviews offer valuable insights into some residents' experiences, direct communication and a personal tour can help determine if Shady Rest Mobile Plaza aligns with your housing needs in the Bay City area.
If you are seeking a long-term living situation in a mobile home park within Bay City, Shady Rest Mobile Plaza presents itself as an option to explore. Remember to consider the feedback provided and conduct your own assessment to ensure it meets your requirements for community living.

Shady Rest Mobile Plaza Reviews
Ok, I have one major concern. That would be the condition of the blacktop. I'm not saying that tens of thousands of dollars should be invested in the driveway and the road through the plaza. How about patching the holes???? Minimal amount of effort and money. That alone would improve the quality of life and the appearance of the mobile home plaza.
Jan 27, 2025 · Joseph UrbaniakRoads r in such a state of disrepair,,,they no longer inforce clean home area, have no yard waste pick up, and trash company will only take what's in the cans. Also they have made it difficult to pay ur rent...they no longer take checks that could be easily left in the box...so u have to wait til office manager shows up (seem to make own hours) to pay with card. My time is just as valuable as theirs. So please try to make our community an importance to u.
Mar 17, 2024 · Carmen AndersonThe owners do nothing to better the place. The roads are terrible. Lots of car damage, and again, it's up to the owners to fix the problems. Is that not what rent is for!!!!!!
Sep 19, 2024 · Robert BastianKind of rough streets a lot of Run down trailers i guess they might clean it up and Make it Adult only 55 and Older thats what i heard from a Tennant there but i would never live there my opinion only
Nov 27, 2022 · Kenneth FillmoreResidents fix their own potholes because the park management is too cheap and lazy to do it themselves. Been saying for over a year that they were gonna fix it. Now theres two sections of roads where you can't avoid deep potholes.
