Somers Dream Rv Park Introduce
If you are searching for RV parks in the Waynesville, North Carolina area, your exploration on platforms categorized as "RV Parks Near Me" might lead you to Somers Dream Rv Park, located at 887 Jonathan Creek Rd, Waynesville, NC 28785. While the initial prospect of a beautiful area, potentially attractive pricing, and even rent-to-own options for RVs might seem appealing, it is crucial to carefully consider the significant concerns raised in recent customer reviews before making any decisions.
Somers Dream Rv Park can be reached at the provided address. However, the reviews do not list a specific phone number, which could make direct contact challenging. This lack of readily available contact information is something prospective residents might want to consider.
One potential renter's initial inquiry about RV listings at Somers Dream Rv Park was met with optimism due to the advertised beautiful area, seemingly awesome prices, and the possibility of a rent-to-own arrangement. However, this initial hope quickly turned into skepticism after further investigation. When the prospective renter inquired about multiple complaints regarding water and lights being cut off, the response from the owner/landlord was dismissive and non-reassuring. The owner reportedly stated that it would be in the inquirer's best interest to find something with more positive reviews, citing high demand and limited availability as a reason not to address the existing complaints. This response suggests a lack of concern for past issues and a potential disregard for addressing legitimate concerns from potential or current residents.
The reviewer strongly advises others to "Believe the reviews. Stay away. Save your money," cautioning against the potential for living "in the dark with no water or power." They allege that this situation arises because the park management purportedly does not pay their bills, even when residents are fulfilling their financial obligations. This is a severe accusation that, if true, would create significant and unacceptable living conditions for residents.
Another review provides a firsthand account from residents, painting a dire picture of the park's management and living conditions. These residents, an older retired couple, claim that their home went without a functioning furnace throughout the entire winter. They allege that the management was unresponsive to their calls and messages, even providing proof of attempted contact. They also state that even the on-site managers were unhelpful and reacted negatively ("Yelled at us") whenever the residents tried to approach them or make improvements to their home. The reviewers describe the managers as having issues with alcohol ("They stayed drunk") and being generally unhelpful and divisive within the community, with only another renter offering assistance.
The cumulative impact of these reviews paints a concerning picture of Somers Dream Rv Park. While the location in Waynesville, NC, might indeed be in a beautiful area, the alleged mismanagement, unreliability of essential utilities, and negative interactions with park management appear to outweigh any potential benefits. The lack of a responsive and responsible management can create a stressful and potentially unsafe living environment for residents.
Given the severity of the allegations in these reviews, it is extremely difficult to objectively discuss the environment, services, and features of Somers Dream Rv Park in a positive light. The recurring themes of utility disruptions and unresponsive, even hostile, management are significant red flags that any prospective resident must take very seriously.
Typically, RV parks offer essential services such as hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, as well as waste management and potentially common areas like restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. However, the reviews for Somers Dream Rv Park cast doubt on the reliability of these basic services. The accusation that utilities are frequently cut off due to the park's failure to pay bills suggests a fundamental breakdown in the provision of essential living requirements.
The environment of the park, while located in a potentially beautiful area of Waynesville, NC, is likely to be negatively impacted by the alleged mismanagement and the resulting issues faced by residents. A community where residents lack reliable utilities and feel ignored or mistreated by management is unlikely to foster a positive living experience.
The mention of "rent to own" RVs could be a potential feature that attracts some individuals. However, the negative reviews strongly suggest that the risks associated with renting or owning a unit within this park, given the alleged management and utility issues, far outweigh any potential financial benefits of such an arrangement. Prospective buyers or renters should be extremely cautious and consider the potential difficulties of investing in a property within a park with such significant reported problems.
Due to the overwhelmingly negative nature of the available reviews, it is impossible to provide any positive promotional information for Somers Dream Rv Park. Instead, the objective conclusion based on the provided information is that prospective residents should exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate these allegations before considering this park as a place to live, whether for short-term RV stays or long-term residency with the potential for rent-to-own arrangements.
When using platforms categorized as "RV Parks Near Me," it is crucial to carefully scrutinize reviews and look for recurring themes or serious allegations. The issues raised about Somers Dream Rv Park – unreliable utilities and unresponsive, even hostile, management – are significant and should not be taken lightly. It would be prudent for anyone considering this park to seek additional information from multiple sources and potentially speak with current residents (if possible and safe to do so) to get a broader understanding of the living conditions and management practices.
In conclusion, while Somers Dream Rv Park might be located in a desirable area and offer potentially attractive financial arrangements like rent-to-own, the strong negative feedback regarding unreliable utilities and severely problematic management practices presents a significant cause for concern. Prospective residents are strongly advised to heed the warnings in the reviews and thoroughly investigate these issues before considering Somers Dream Rv Park as a viable option for their RV living needs in Waynesville, NC. The potential for living without essential utilities and dealing with unresponsive or hostile management appears to be a substantial risk associated with this park.

Somers Dream Rv Park Reviews
At first when I reached out about the rv listings I was extremely hopeful. Beautiful area? Awesome price? Rent to own? Wow too good to be true?? It certainly is. The owner/landlord or otherwise person you'd be renting from doesn't care do dispute the other reviews when asked about why they have multiple complaints about having your water or lights cut off. They say"It is probably in your best interest to find something better with more positive reviews. I am not sure what you expect from me. I have over 100 people interested and only 2 RVs to rent."Believe the reviews. Stay away. Save your money. Unless you want to be in the dark with no water or power, cause apparently they don't pay their bills, all while you're doing your part, but they won't do theirs.
Jul 09, 2024 · BrandonThe owner is always absent. Our home went without a furnace all winter. We are an older couple. Retired. They would not answer our calls have proof. Even the managers they didn't even look at our messages. Yell at us every time we tried to come in there yard. Yelled at us when we tried to improve home. They stayed drunk. Bad managers. Only another renter tried to help everyone. And deliver mail. Managers are horrible people won't help. Help devide family's. That's all. Owner need a to be involved going down fast
Dec 22, 2021 · Rebecca LambertI fist stayed at this campgnd 20 years ago. The owners then were very nice and took care of the location. It was sold about 12 years ago(ish) and the new owner is just out for the money. Never takes care of anything, never there if issues, never answers phone. It has been let go and is very run down. The ONLY thing going for that place is the river and the location. Find somewhere else if possiblle.
