Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a mobile home park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park, located at 2401 S Portland Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73108, USA, warrants careful consideration based on recent customer feedback available online. While the platform category suggests a focus on RV parks, mobile home parks can sometimes accommodate RVs for long-term stays, so it's important to explore all possibilities. However, the reviews for Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park primarily discuss experiences related to mobile home residency and management.
Environment and Location:
Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park is situated on South Portland Avenue in Oklahoma City. This location offers urban accessibility to the amenities of a major city, including shopping centers, restaurants, healthcare facilities, and entertainment options. Oklahoma City provides a diverse range of cultural and recreational activities, and residents of Stonebrook Village would likely have convenient access to these. However, the reviews do not provide specific details about the immediate surroundings of the mobile home park itself, such as landscaping, noise levels, or the overall aesthetic appeal of the community.
It's important to note that one reviewer described the park as an "oasis" with a sarcastic tone ("It's an oasis 😁"), which, in the context of their negative review, suggests a significant discrepancy between the perceived reality and a positive ideal. This highlights the need to carefully consider the issues raised in the reviews when evaluating the environment of Stonebrook Village.
Services and Features (as perceived by reviewers):
The customer reviews for Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park paint a concerning picture regarding the management, services, and features as experienced by the residents:
- Negative Management Perception: A recurring theme in the reviews is strong dissatisfaction with the management. One reviewer emphatically advises to "STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!!! MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE!!!" Another long-term resident of 20 years expressed feeling poorly treated by "these money hungry people," indicating a significant decline in their experience over time. A more recent review echoed these sentiments, stating, "Management does nothing for the tenants except bill them."
- Allegations of Crime: A serious accusation was made regarding the safety and security within the park. One reviewer reported, "CRIME IS TERRIBLE, MY CAR WAS STOLEN RIGHT OUTTA MY DRIVEWAY BY SOMEONE WHO LIVED HERE." They further claimed that the park management took no action in response to this incident. This raises significant concerns about the security and the management's responsiveness to criminal activity within the community.
- Issues with Rent and Notices: A reviewer alleged that rent increases of up to $70 occurred without the legally required 30-day written notice. They sarcastically commented, "FUN TIMES!!!!! IT'S AN OASIS 😁" This suggests potential issues with transparency and adherence to tenant rights regarding rent adjustments. Another reviewer mentioned that "Rent has gone up consistently since" a change in ownership.
- Changes in Amenities: A newer resident reported a decline in services, stating, "Amenities like free mowing service gotten rid in the same letter as a rent increase." This indicates a reduction in the value proposition for residents, with costs increasing while services are being eliminated.
- Concerns about Community Rules and Enforcement: One review mentioned a new rule where "children are not allowed to be children outside apparently," suggesting restrictive and potentially unreasonable limitations on outdoor play. This same reviewer also stated that "homeowners/tenants are responsible for cleaning up the park themselves instead of managements doing so as you would assume," indicating a shift in maintenance responsibilities from management to residents.
- Parking Issues: A lack of adequate parking was also cited as a problem: "Not enough parking for families with adult children that have jobs and more than 2 cars." This can be a significant inconvenience for households with multiple vehicles.
- Poor Communication and Threatening Behavior: Reviewers reported a lack of proactive communication from management, with contact primarily occurring through negative means: "Never communicate except to threaten fines for trash other neighbors throw in your yard while you are at work or put rent notices on your door." This suggests a hostile and unsupportive management style.
The absence of positive feedback in the provided reviews is notable and paints a concerning picture of the living conditions and management practices at Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park, at least according to these specific residents.
Promotional Information:
Based on the overwhelmingly negative customer reviews provided, there is no indication of any positive promotional information or incentives being offered for Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park. The reviews strongly suggest that potential residents should exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate the current conditions and management practices before considering this community.
While the phone number and address are provided, contacting the management directly would likely only offer their perspective, which may significantly differ from the experiences shared in these unprompted customer reviews. It would be prudent to seek out additional, more recent reviews from various sources to gain a broader understanding of the current situation at Stonebrook Village.
Conclusion:
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park in Oklahoma City, the available customer reviews present a stark warning. Residents have reported significant issues with management, including allegations of poor treatment, lack of responsiveness, and unfair practices regarding rent and notices. Concerns about crime, restrictive community rules, reduced amenities, and inadequate parking have also been raised. The overwhelmingly negative sentiment in these reviews suggests that Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park may not offer a positive living experience at this time. Potential residents, whether seeking a long-term RV site (if permitted) or a mobile home, should proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence, seeking additional information and potentially speaking with current residents (beyond those who have posted online reviews) to get a balanced and up-to-date understanding of the community before making any decisions. The information currently available online does not support recommending Stonebrook Village Mobile Home Park as a desirable place to live or park an RV long-term.

Jul 06, 2023 · Samuel ZwermannWe moved to stone brook about 2 years ago to purchase a home.and it's a nightmare a liveing nightmare. Constantly charging extra fee's notes on the door. It's relentless.they don't take care of the park. And blow off any concerns that tenants have, yet keep raising the lot rent.theres plenty more. Warning don't move here you'll regret it
Oct 27, 2022 · anthony backusThey are putting money into the park. Street has gone through significant repaving. They have taken control of older big trees that can crash down in a storm...consistently, they are being cut back or taken down. There used to be no kids in park, but now we have families. Kind of like seeing them out barbecuing and kids playing in the yards. Manager splits time between other parks, but seems congenial. Never had an issue.
Jun 30, 2020 · Jeff NichenkoThis used to be the best place to live but since the owner sold the property this place has gone down hill.. the new residents DON'T care about their properties and the parking has become a nightmare for everyone who lives here. if an emergency occurs an emergency vehicle could not get through because there are cars out in the street all the time and it has become a huge headache. Nothing is getting done when we contact management about all the issues going on with the new residence ofmusic blaring, parking, trashed out homes, not a safe place anymore.
