Swan Creek Homes & RV Community Reviews
Lainie is one of the sweetest ladies in the office. She's always happy to help in any way. She's always been so sweet to me and my wife.Stan goes out on a limb to help anyone at any time. This man has helped me a lot, and he's always in a good mood. Stan is the main reason this place stays in top shape. This man is one of the nicest, kindest people you would ever meet. I hope this place treats them both well, because it's very hard to come by people like this. Thank you both for everything
Feb 23, 2025 · TC 444The ladies in the office are wonderful. And maintenance is very timely and professional. There are some absolute turds living there, but the office is pretty good about removing them. Good place to park a camper/rv long term near everything in the area. Just clean up after yourself in the laundry room. It gets gross in there because people are inconsiderate.
Jan 04, 2025 · Isaac GregoryThis place cares about profit more than the safety of their tenants. The power poles are outdated and badly wired, causing a trailer to burn down across the road of my site. The power pole on my site also started a fire. Luckily only my power cord was damaged, which cost me about $300. It’s been months and the park refuses to reimburse me or even credit my rent for what I paid. The only excuses I got was “you should’ve had a surge protecter hooked up” and “you’re running too many appliances in there”. A surge protector only protects against surges, not fires. There’s no damage to the electrical components in my $60,000 fifth wheel, there were no surges. Also, if I was using too much power, the breaker on the power pole should’ve flipped to off before overheating. Athens utilities came out to help get my power back on and agreed that the park has bad wiring and stated the management wanted to replace the electric box with the wrong parts to save money.
Nov 06, 2024 · jack youngStayed here for about a month while working the refuel outage at Browns Ferry Nuclear. Overall, good experience. The water pressure was on the low side, but serviceable. Our spot was back off the highway, so nice and quiet. Neighbors were harmless, and everybody we dealt with was friendly. The mailboxes and package delivery was great, made getting things much easier than usual at an outage. The laundry facility was very nice, and extremely convenient, even if the big washer was usually broken. Rates were a little on the high side, but not terrible, and it was a decent drive to the plant. The dog park was a great touch, and my 13 year old Husky LOVED getting to stretch his legs over there most days.We had a Tornado Warning while I was there(of course it happened on my night off!), and originally I was going to mention that I was annoyed that the tornado shelter was so crowded and unpleasant, but... There was a tornado shelter. This is the first park I've stayed at that had one. And they even had a designated area in it for people with pets! The staff(or volunteers, I'm not sure) in the shelter did a great job keeping everybody informed and calm, and even if it was crowded, we were safe. This is probably the best place I've parked our camper during an outage, and I'm absolutely going to stay here when I come back for Browns Ferry's next outage. Hopefully I get a good spot again!
Mar 21, 2023 · Samuel BarrettRV spots are full hookup with plenty of space. Nice laundry facilities and fast access to Brown Ferry station, Buc-ee’s, and a short ride into both Athens and Decatur.Very nice staff; they are very polite and helpful.
