According to recent reviews from travelers, Williston Crossings RV Resort offers a pleasant and well-maintained environment. One guest who chose it as a stopover while traveling south was "pleasantly surprised" by the park. They specifically highlighted that the resort is "well maintained" and "beautifully landscaped," suggesting that the grounds are attractive and cared for. This attention to aesthetics can significantly enhance the overall camping experience, creating a more enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
The spaciousness of the RV sites is another feature that receives positive mention. The reviewer noted that the sites are "very spacious," which is a significant advantage for RVers, providing more room for maneuvering, parking vehicles, and setting up outdoor living areas. Furthermore, the availability of "pull through sites" is appreciated for their convenience, allowing for easier arrival and departure, especially for larger RVs.
A practical amenity that guests have found beneficial is the presence of "concrete pads" on the sites. These pads help to keep dirt out of the campers, contributing to a cleaner and more comfortable stay. This detail indicates that the resort has considered the practical needs of RV travelers and invested in infrastructure that enhances their experience.
Williston Crossings RV Resort seems to foster a strong sense of community, with a significant number of "full timers" residing in the resort. The reviewer noted that these long-term residents "seem to have created a nice community," and importantly, they made transient guests feel welcome, stating, "We never felt like outsiders while staying there." This inclusive atmosphere can be a major draw for travelers seeking a friendly and welcoming environment during their stay.
For pet owners, Williston Crossings offers a notable amenity: a "huge" dog park with a "nice sitting area for the humans" and "water spigots for the pups." A large, well-equipped dog park is a significant asset for RVers traveling with pets, providing a safe and enjoyable space for their animals to exercise and socialize. The thoughtful additions of a seating area for owners and water spigots for the dogs further enhance this amenity.
Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback, one reviewer pointed out a specific inconvenience regarding the laundry facilities. The machines require the use of quarters, and there was no change machine available, particularly during the weekend when the office was closed. This necessitated a trip to a local store to obtain quarters. The reviewer suggested that the resort should either update their machines to accept credit cards or install a change machine in the laundry area. This feedback provides valuable insight into an area where the resort could improve guest convenience.
Another guest echoed the positive sentiment about the resort, stating, "We love the resort and we'll be back." This strong endorsement speaks to the overall positive experience offered at Williston Crossings. However, this reviewer also shared a suggestion regarding the operation of the ice cream shop on-site. They expressed disappointment that the shop was closed during its regular operating hours on two consecutive evenings without any prior announcement or notice. They recommended that the resort ensure better communication regarding closures, such as placing a sign at the gate leading to the shop and updating the calendar accordingly. This highlights the importance of reliable information regarding on-site amenities.

Williston Crossings RV Resort Reviews
We chose Williston Crossings as a stopping point along our travels south to meet up with family close by. We were pleasantly surprised to find this RV park. It is well maintained, beautifully landscaped and the sites are very spacious. We had a pull through site and appreciated the concrete pad to keep the dirt out of our camper. There are alot of full timers in the resort and they seem to have created a nice community. We never felt like outsiders while staying there. We utilized the dog park which was huge and had a nice sitting area for the humans and water spigots for the pups. The only thumbs down 👎 I have is that the laundry facilities require the use of quarters. We stayed over the weekend when the office was closed. We had no way of getting quarters except for going to a local store and requesting them from the cashier. It would have been helpful to be told this upon checking in as I would have obtained a roll of quarters from the office. I think Williston should either update their machines to accept credit cards or install a change machine inside the laundry facilities. Besides this issue, we would definitely return to Williston Crossings RV Restort again.
Apr 02, 2025 · Jerseypiney GirlWe love the resort and we'll be back, But we have a suggestion. We were very disappointed the Ice Cream shop was closed during their regular 6-8pm hours on Tuesday 4/15 and Wed 4/16 when they were supposed to be open. There was no announcement, sign, or notice on the calendar. At least put a sign on the gate leading to the shop and a correction on the calendar. Other than that, great stay in our site.
Apr 16, 2025 · Linda KunzmanBy far, the best rv park we have ever stay at. We loved it so much after our first visit last year that we booked for three months this year and are enjoying every minute of it. The services are fantastic. The staff is great lots of amenities, and lots of great activities. Perfect place for a three month stay, or one week. All the sites are beautifully maintained, spacious, clean, have lovely picnic tables and full service including cable TV. I upgraded the Wi-Fi so we could stream, and it has been absolutely flawless.
Mar 13, 2025 · Judy FraserA 55+ RV Resort, in the off season for my 4 nite stay. Near the hundred dollar price per night, but everything tidy and working. Very good clients, talkative lot. Ten year rule but my 17 year old toyhauler is in decent condition except for a few character scars from boondocking.
May 03, 2025 · Richard PeltoWe stayed at Williston RV Park for one night as a quick stop on our way to Jekyll Island in GA (we live in SW Florida). I have to say that this RV park far exceeds ALL parks we have ever stayed! We will probably not find a nicer park in the rest of our travel. We were met at the gate and taken to our site (escorted by one of the full time residents on her golf cart). The site was perfectly flat, very manicured but in a beautiful tree lined setting. Full water and electric hookupsThis park offers short and long term stays and they even sell RV pads. Looked like 90% of long term owners here. It is a 55+ community for those that live full time but short term overnight stays I don’t believe there is an age restriction. (We are in our early 50’s).The facilities are immaculate. They have a swimming pool, lots of sparkling clean bathrooms, a community center and all kinds of activities such as shuffle board, pickle ball, game night, ice cream parlor, food truck that comes in the middle of the day for basic hot dog and hamburgers. I wish we were staying longer. We will definitely be back and will plan to stay for several days next time. It is about 40 minutes from Highway 75 but not a bad drive. There is a Winn Dixie grocery 5 minutes away for stopping to pick up supplies before heading to the site.
